Claire liked having early morning classes as that left her the afternoon to hang out with her sorority sisters, practice with the cheer squad, and people watch. Claire can see auras. People are surrounded by color, at first Claire only sees one color but the more she stares she can see other colors. Like orange- enjoys whatever the person is doing, red means the person is a perfectionist, and brown radiates people that are comfortable in their own skin. Claire and Merit are friends. Claire likes to set her friends up but as yet she hadn’t went after who she wanted. Bill always had two trays of food before him and a notebook he sketched in. Bill was new at the school and Claire was the first person to talk to Bill since he had been there. Eros- the God- was Claire's father. Bill said he wasn’t rushing a fraternity because large groups of people and him didn’t get along very well. Neil was really attracted to Claire but felt she was untouchable. Bill showed up at a party Claire was at and she introduced him to Merit. Claire got drunk and Bill and Merit took her home. Bill slept on the floor and Merit was next to Claire. Claire want to Neil about men.
I just really enjoy this book it seemed to be more about sex than anything . This just wasn’t what I thought it would be. I was just disappointed and didn’t enjoy this book.

I liked the premise of the book and I was pretty shocked at the borderline erotica, but it missed the mark for me. I felt like it was too YA to be Erotica and Too Erotica to be YA...If that makes sense. While there was good suspense moments, they were all explained in the book blurb and there wasn't enough back story to keep me fully engaged. I thought a school for the children of Gods was a great world start, but there wasn't much development. Other than a few students saying who their God parent was, it didn't go more deep than that. I was left with a lot of questions , but more than enough sex.

Speaking of that I found the scene with Claire, Neil and Justice, odd and out of place as well as never resolved. I kept waiting for Justice to use it as a ace up her sleeve, of find out that she was susceptible to Claire "Curse". Which we never found out what that was or why it happened. I think there is a market for this, I just wish it was either marketed as Erotica, or fleshed out more. I think if it focused on one it would have worked more for me. That being said I do think there are good bones here, The style just wasn't my preference.

The story was okay. The usual trope. The characters were flat. I would have like to know more about them. Everyone was a demigod but the only one that we knew the parentage of was Claire. I'm still not totally clear on what happened with Justice and Will, it was confusing. I guess there wasn't anything new of different with this book. Just middle of the road.
