I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
This book was definitely different! I like reading books that have sexy menages in them. It was an interesting read

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. Enjoyed the book involving a BBW and three brothers who are her mates. The box is fill of drama, danger and sex. I would recommend this book.

DNF

You have the traditional poor, single parent who is struggling to make ends meet. After her friend finds a sugar daddy, Laura decides this is what she needs to do to turn her life around.

And this is where the story went wrong for me.

First off, the sugar daddy website is set up not just for military men wanting to find BBW women but also as a secret website that warns them of trouble. I'm not sure I fully followed this...also the reasons why the military men only sought BBW angered me.

Secondly, she trusts way too easy. After what happened with her ex and his wife you would think she would be a little more cautious. Instead she lets two strangers into her home where her son is without batting an eye. She lets one of these strangers represent her legally without knowing if he is even able to do so.

Thirdly, they arrange for her to move into a better apartment and give her a job. Um...you've known one of these men for an hour and the other for a matter of minutes and you're ready to give them complete control over your life?

And let's not even start on the whole witch thing...

This book had me confused throughout the whole entire thing. Their was a lot going on and too many characters to remember which one was and which and who they were related too. I did like the female lead she has a lot of spunk and fieriness in her. She can handle a newborn and three alpha men plus her gift. from the title of this book I thought that this book was going to be about sugar daddy's but it turned into some Sci-Fi stuff at the end that still has me puzzled of how that made it into the story. then I remember the author I was reading she likes to writing about this paranormal romance. She likes to weave two different worlds together and try to make it flow into one story. Out of all the stories that i read about this authors this one didn't really make any sense to me.

I could not get interested in this book. I like to read about strong, down on their luck women, but advertising for a sugar daddy just did not go well for this story line. When Roman came into the picture...I just didn't feel chemistry. I loved the book cover.

Umm...I really don't know what to say about this book. It was so off the wall and poorly written and I feel terrible for saying that since I rarely leave a bad review. It was like the author was trying to fit as many different genres in one book without really committing to anything or given enough details to help you comprehend all the insane situations. Going into this, I expected an erotic romance - that's what it was classified as, but instead you get some menage sex mixed with witchcraft, talking to animals, body stealing, aliens, a weird 'tribute' to their queen, military action and end-of-the-world type crisis.

I will read a paranormal romance on rare occasion, but they're usually pretty well written and I can follow along easily (a good example is Maya Banks' Slow Burn series). I honestly try to avoid them though if I can, so it was disappointing that this erotic romance as touted in the summary turned into a sci-fi/paranormal thriller meets some erotica. The author jumped from one thing to the next in a few sentences, so you never really connected with the characters or fully understood the plot or point. And then I had trouble keeping up with the POV changing from one paragraph to the next with no warning. The ending wasn't really an ending, just a HFN and we don't get any real closure to the story.

Overall, this just felt disjointed and like a jumbled mess. I think the author tried to do too much at once and that meant none of it was done well (the 'jack of all trades, master of none' saying applies here). I've never read a book by this author before, so I'm sure there are other books that are done well, but this one simply missed the mark.

Okay... You've got sweet and easygoing stories, action and fast paced stories, hot and steamy stories AND you've got Trinity Blacio stories...

Maybe because this was my first Trinity Blacio story, I was not used to the lightning speed in which the story goes in her books. Because I really had a hard time keeping up. When I read the blurb and requested the arc from Netgalley I kind of expected a rich hot guy (or two) to take care of single mother Laura and her son max in exchange of some naughty and sweaty activities.

But nooooooo, you kind of nosedive into a story with aliens who want to take over the world. And sex may be the answer to all the problems? It was about that time (or maybe it was when everyone came round to show Laura and her hot stuff guys their allegiance, by giving her a kiss on the lips - and no, not your average lips - ) that the story just went a little crazy. And the most crazy thing is that Laura was not surprised at all, by having to go down under into bunkers, with an entire town. Nope, just your regular day at work...

None the less, I had a good time reading it, but the ending was a bit unsatisfactory. The story ends fairly abrupt, while the aliens are still looming. So, hopefully they will get those bad guys in the next part.

Three out of five stars from me. And a thank you for Riverdale Avenue Books for providing the arc in exchange of an honest review.

Um, wow. I'm at a total loss for words on this book. I can honestly say that I've NEVER read anything like this before!

First, I don't feel like I got to know the characters very well before everything started happening. It's kind of nice to get a feel for the heroine and hero before they're thrown together or before any major action starts (fighting action, not sexy time action). And it didn't feel like there was any of that or any real background to the main characters before craziness ensued. It made it a little more difficult to care about what was happening with everyone.

Second, the craziness was well beyond anything I've ever read before. I like paranormal romances, I like military romances, heck I even like alien romances! But I think it's a bad idea to throw ALL of those in together and to add even more. This book had the paranormal aspect (witches and.... zombies), the military guys, a little alien thing going on, plus it had BDSM and the heroine had a kid to boot. For me, this is just way too much stuff going on for one book. It felt like the author just wanted to see how many genres she could fit into one book.

Last, the pace was ridiculous and it made the story extremely unbelievable. I think it was in the first three (?) chapters that the heroine and hero meet, decide to sleep together, save her kid, deal with a nasty ex, bring the hero's brother in as a second love interest, have the heroine and the brother making out and touching each other LITERALLY within 10 minutes of meeting, find out the heroine is the daughter of a witch and it was just entirely too much. I feel bad saying this but the whole book was sort of laughable due to every possible gimmick being thrown into the story.

I didn't care for this book but I'm not so sure that it was a BAD book. I think readers who can handle lots of disparate elements coming in to one book might really dig this story! The sexy time is hot and plentiful and there's plenty of BDSM and menage-y stuff to be had. I honestly enjoyed reading this story up to the point it where I felt it jumped into absurd territory. I doubt I'll be continuing on with the series though.

This was a very interesting read. I had a hard time understanding what was going on because there was no background to the story.
I had read the blurb before reading so I thought I had a general idea. But there needed to be more detail to the story. Things just happened without anything leading up to the important scenes.
It turned into more of a science fiction type read with aliens and changing humans. I wasn't expecting that.
I think I would have enjoyed this one more if it was more detailed and gave the reader more insight to what had happened in the past and also what was happening in the present.

I’m not sure how to categorize this book. It’s a military hero story. It’s a ménage romance. It’s a sci-fi adventure. It’s paranormal. It’s plot driven with a complicated, twisty story line(s). It’s character-driven starring a young mother and her son plus her multiple lovers. There are aliens and zombies, terrorists and heroes.
When Laura’s life is at a low point she sees an ad for finding a sugar daddy who will solve all of her problems. What she gets are not one but two men who want to fix everything and solve all her problems. Then she finds out that her men are part of a family that was genetically changed in a bizarre government plot and she must sleep with all of the brothers in order to stay alive.
If you like complicated world-building, hot men and a woman who can take them all on, and and HFN ending that is surprisingly satisfying and makes you want to read the next story, this is the book for you! I happen to like twists and turns in my stories so this was a good book for me. The blurb does not lead you into the truly unusual reality of this fictional account, but keep an open mind and read on.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGallery and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This book was nothing like I expected. I was completely enraptured from the beginning. The plot and the characters were very well developed. You quickly become a part of the story. There were no overly descriptive words to full the word count. There is just enough for the reader to use their imagination. I just loved this story. I hated for it to end. I can't wait for the next book.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great romance novel with a great twist!!!!!!

Ok. In no way was this story, described in the blurb. And that would have been ok, if there had been some world building inside the narrative twist, the plot took. But even the exposition at the beginning, was both sparse and rushed. The purpose of the website, for example, and the physical and emotional capabilities of these almost-innocent women taking multiple (and unexpectedly additional) partners simultaneously...let's just say more words were needed around stuff like this. One continuity error in how some folks knew each other. Heroine's past is strangely complex to be dismissed so quickly. Maybe more will be revealed in future stories?

This book was an easy , past paced book for me. It had a lot of pros and cons. One big pro was the strong characters that were well developed. The story line was strong and kept you in the moment. BUT and here is a huge but.... the surprise alien side threw me off. Here I was reading a romance picked because it was meant to be that just a romance and BANG out of no where weird stuff started to happen.
I'm a huge paranormal fan but I picked this book for something different to read and it wasn't.
Okay moving on. The instalove annoyed me. I get it for aliens these boys bond fast . I just think it could have been done with a little more tension. The book just STOPPED. We start getting into the actual storyline and it stops. The ending didn't end anything for me, if it was meant to be a cliffhanger that didn't work either. The story went from smooth to over load in information.
I would have loved the author to add one or even two more chapters building the suspense. Even with these flaws I do give the book five stars because it is different and an easy read. This author is now added to my favourite authors list and I can't wait to see what else she can come up with.
Will I pick up book two? Yes, but with hope unanswered questions get answered.
Will I read this author again? Yes, I love her writing style and can't wait to see her next unusual plot lines.
Reviews left across the board.

This is Book 1 in the Sugar Daddies Series. It’s a really good book! It is a ménage story so beware of lots of hot alpha men! (And sex) Laura is having a lot of trouble with her baby’s father who happens to be married (and no, she didn’t know that in the beginning; and yes, she dropped him like a hot potato when she found out). She decides she needs help and signs up on a website called Big Beautiful Women (BBW.com). She gets to know Daniel and agrees to meet him. Things start happening fast at this point. There’s strong chemistry between Laura, Daniel, Grant and Roman. You read this book and you get love, government suspense, and aliens. Oh, did I mention the hundreds of hot alpha men? Yeah, they are there, too. I can’t wait for the next book to get here! I received a copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

An unexpected read is the thought that comes to mind as I write this review. I was drawn to the blurb then cover and was looking for an erotica read when I decide to select this book. I wasn't sure how I would like this book the opening chapter wasn't filled with enough drama for me.... but lo and behold this book picked up the paced and soon I was cheering for both Daniel and Grant to have a happy ending with Laura.

What was exciting was the addition of Roman their other brother into the storyline. With his presence, the plot thickens and this book takes a turn to the exciting. I love how the story expands and adds elements.

Secondary characters are not as developed as the primary but they are presented in a manner that makes the reader curious to know more about them. Thus, I look forward to reading the next books to this series.

I give this 3.5 STARS for surprising me with the direction on the plot.

Another great one by Trinity Blacio. I love her writing style.

This was a definite surprise for me at least, I went in thinking this was going to be a simple romance. It turned out to be more than that.

But I do got to say, this would or even could for some lead to being a little too much.

This is the most well-written of Trinity Blacio's books since the Running in Fear novels!! Ms. Blacio has had a tendency in the past few years to REALLY rush through her character development. Heroines would go from being enraged to weeping buckets of tears in 10 seconds. And the whole story would take place in a day and a half of the character's lives with all the twists and turns and disasters packed into unrealistic time and space.

This is the first book of her that I've read in a long time that was back to her original quality! Characters were well-rounded and had individual personalities with quirks that made sense and emotional responses that were explained, logical and timely reactions. Laura was an excellent character that had overcome much through her life, including the jackass father to her child. She goes looking for a Sugar Daddy and ends up stepping into something unexpected. Readers still get the crazy, end of the way of life scenarios that Ms. Blacio likes to write about but the reasoning behind this one made some sense. Time passed during the book like you would hope for so that these catastrophic events weren't piled into an unrealistic few days.

Villains do tend to have an inordinate amount of coordination and strength but it is countered by the good guys just enough. It was a bit unrealistic that this family would have actually built such a massive underground safe-haven but I guess if you have some foreshadowing ability in the family it might be believable. It did make for interesting times though. A good enough read that although I received this novel as an ARC from Netgalley, I went and purchased book two in the series myself!

My Sugar daddy by Trinity Blacio.
Struggling single mother Laura McGill figures she has nothing to lose and everything to gain when she impulsively signs up online to meet a sugar daddy. After losing her virginity to a two-timing married man, she's out to find security for herself and her infant son Max--and hopefully a man she can love.
Brothers Daniel and Grant Wilmot are handsome and rich-and seeking a Rubenesque beauty whose lush curves will cushion their hard loving. Leaders of a security team comprising former Special Forces operatives and a dating website that serves as a cover for their military activities, Daniel and Grant--and another brother, Roman--are smitten by Laura's generous proportions and sweet manner.
But before the relationship can get too far, a classified government project goes awry--and the Wilmot brothers are forced to pick up the pieces. But will Laura reject them when she learns the truth about the secret they carry?
Another absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I love Trinity's books. How she writes. This had me crying and then laughing. Can't wait for next part. This is a must read and I would highly recommend this book. Netgalley and Riverside avenue books.

I thought it was going to be a straightforward story. Instead there was the end of the world, possible zombies, aliens, underground city bunkers, witches, communicating with spirits.......it was too much. The story was all over the place and the dialogue was just ridiculous. Add the the fact the heroine was annoying and whiny. She is very protective of her baby yet she had the worst cursing habit and brags about her car racing in her teenage years......acts like she is this tough chick. But she was spineless with her ex and his wife. It was very contradictory. I can't recommend this book at all.
