Meticulously researched, well written story about the fascinating part in history of American history: cultural revolution initiated by the emergence of blues. A very rare photos and facsimiles of the archival newspaper reports, reviews, advertisements, posters and even opening bars unforgettable standards like "Cow, Cow Blues" or "New Salty Dog" are greatly helping to follow author's thought. This is superb testimony of yet another one achievement of African-Americans. And their enormous contribution to Western music.

Good book on the Blues and the its emergence in vaudeville. Very informative and full of knowledge. A must read for any blues fan. Thanks to NetGally, the author and the publisher for the ARC in return for my honest review.
