A charming, light hearted HEA with laughter, love, and bringing family together to create an endearing story. This is a wonderful start to the series of the McCall brothers in Honor, Texas. Throughout the story there are plenty of times were you'll be laughing one moment and the sighing the next. The author's writing perfectly executed the feeling of innocence in small town living.

Cody and Hannah went from best friends to husband and wife...with family and friends to help them save their dreams. I'm hoping that we'll see more of the couple in the subsequent stories in the series.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and Netgally, I am voluntarily provided my honest review.

Laurie LeClair has been a favorite of mine from the time I fell into her Once Upon a Romance Series. Her stories are sweeter than any greeting card, smoother than silk and as addictive as a chocolate cake. The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride highlights the best of Ms. Leclair. She simplifies what humanity tends to complicate. To understand what love is, we have to first find it within ourselves. That message shines brightly with every character she writes. Her tales open up the heart and that is what I love most about them.

Hannah and Cody start out as friends and both have to decide if they have something to build a future on. The first book in the McCalls . Looking forward to the next book.

Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

Hannah is struggling with the haunting past mistakes of her mother and her father. She want to be someone but doesnt want to let anyone in in fear of being hurt again. She has a best friend and her bulls what more could she ask for?
Cody has loved Hannah as his best friend for their whole lives. She's been there for the good, the bad, and the ugly but when faced with loosing his family farm he wants her by his side. But when life throws a curve ball he wonders if unconditional love is enough for both of them and his family.
Wow oh wow I just loved this book, its a good clean romance no swear words not adults scenes. I loved that struggles between the main characters, I super enjoyed the stubbornness and pigheadedness of the main characters. I enjoyed the more important message of family. Family is so important and that is made clear through out this book. I can't wait to read more about the McCalls and their fighting spirits. Seriously you can't go wrong with this book.

A fun romance between best friends, Cody and Hannah. With a fake engagement to prevent Hannah getting in trouble with her landlords for breaking curfew, but now they are afraid of ruining the good friendship that they have had since childhood. Cody is trying to help his grandpa with saving the ranch and Hannah raises bulls to get to the top rodeo.

This was a fun, entertaining laugh out loud romance. A very light read. Cody is such a great character, so patient with Hannah, with her reluctance of marriage. Miss Peaches and Miss Clementine were a hoot.

This is the first book in the McCall Brother series. My first book by Laurie LeClair, and thoroughly enjoyed. I high;y recommend this book. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride is a sweet western romance set in Texas. It's the first in a new series by Laurie Leclair and will appeal if you like your romance clean. I struggled a bit with getting into the story though I enjoyed it overall. The pace was a bit slow for my liking and I couldn't get my head around the nickname "Cods", short for Cody. In Australia that's slang for a rather tender part of the male anatomy.

Cowboy Cody McCall has decided it’s time to settle down and now he’s set his eyes on his best friend, Hannah Prescott.
This story was ok. I didn’t really buy how, after knowing Hannah for years, all of a sudden he decides she’s the one for him. I’m not sure I’ll read this author again.

Kind of an odd plot, but that makes it original. Steamy, sweet, and fun to read!

The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride by Laurie LeClair is a fun read. I always enjoy a story where a woman takes on the man’s world proving that she is just as good as any one of the one of them. Hannah is all that and more. No wonder Cody want to move from best friends to something more even if it is supposed to be pretend.

This is my favorite kind of story especially since I think friendship is a good basis for love to form. This story is well-written with supporting characters that you hope will get their own story in the future. Hopefully that will happen since Cody is the first of the McCall Brothers starting out the Series. This is an author whose books, I want to read more now.

If you’re in the mood for a fun, lively cowboy romance with little over-the-top drama, a handsome, too sexy for his own good cowboy and a woman who longs to stand on her own two feet as she competes in a man’s profession without compromise… then The Cowboy’s Rebellious Bride is exactly what would quench that craving.

Hannah’s dream is to see the bulls she raises on the rodeo circuit. Raising bulls has long been considered a male’s job, although why in the world it was exclusive to them is beyond her. She does just as good a job, if not better, than many of those who get their bulls on the circuit. And she’s not about to let that goal fall to the wayside. Yet when she’s in a jam, the absolute last person she expected to step in to “save” her was her life long friend, Cody. A pretend engagement might work for now… but what happens when she starts thinking more long term with this sexy cowboy?

Cody might be considered the sexy cowboy, but he’s got more to offer than that. He’s not been in the market for a long time love, he’s got too much to accomplish before that can become a reality. But when Hannah, his friend for just about forever makes a slightly foolish stumble, he’s right there with the proposal for a pretend engagement.. Trouble is, now he’s seeing Hannah as so much more and convincing her to take a chance on them forever seems a dream… unless she’s thinking the same thing.

I really enjoyed The Cowboy’s Rebellious Bride. It’s fun with only a little bit of drama, but what romance, real or pretend, doesn’t have that at some point. A nicely built world with interesting secondary characters will always bring me back for more. And I’m already waiting for the next story in The McCall Brothers series. Cody and Hannah work so well together. Friends to true love is always a favorite story line for me, and when done right the results are fantastic. I believe any Romance reader would absolutely love Cody and Hannah’s story – and be waiting in line for the next one. Go ahead, indulge yourself and enjoy.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

While the characters are interesting the theme is one that has possibilities but seems a little overdone in this book. It is the start of a series with some interesting brothers. If you like friends to lovers then this one may be for you. It just did not catch and hold my attention.

A lie spoken in drunken state to get out of a tough situation land best friends Hannah and Cody in a fake relationship. But soon the fake engagement ends in real marriage
The cowboys rebellious bride was a fun and heartwarming read. Hannah had fears and insecurities about marriage, and I just loved how Cody was so loving, supportive, and willing to do anything to keep Hannah in his life. The characters just endeared themselves to me and I look forward to reading more in the series.

Cute story of how two friends end up in love and married. Some parts were a little far-fetched (as in being together in a jacuzzi and not giving in to their desires). Good, clean fun!

Hannah and Cody's story is fun for the most part. A little sluggish at times, which cost a star, but overall a sweet story that makes a fun summer read. Easy to pick up and put down, which makes a good one to take along. Highly recommend if you want a light romance.
