This beautiful picture book highlights the innate goodness in most people despite the horrors that even children hear about in the news and around them on a regular basis. Leannah's book carefully address how only a few people do bad things but that most people are good and want good things for each other. I think this is an important book to share in troubled times with our younger readers.

Most People was a great and easy introduction to people who might not be so great. It is a reminder that most people are good and that there are very few "bad" people. It also brings up what we can do to change a frown to a smile because most people would rather be happy. This book is a great discussion starter.

'Most People' by Michael Leannah with illustrations by Jennifer E. Morris is a book that feels like a breath of calm in troubled times.

This is a picture book for young children. The premise is that the bad people in the world are outnumbered by the good ones. Most people like to smile and hug and watch things grow. Some people do bad things and yell bad words, but usually you will then see someone who is trying to help.

It's such a gently told story. It reminds me in the best ways of how Fred Rogers used to talk. The pictures go along perfectly with the text. In a world of yelling, angry grownups, this is the book a child needs to read.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Tilbury House, Myrick Marketing & Media LLC, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

This reassuring picture book shows children that the world around them is filled with helpful and friendly people. It’s a strong response to the negativity so often seen in our world and absorbed by our children as frightening ideas and thoughts. The picture book is set in an urban and diverse neighborhood where accidents happen and neighbors help out. It’s a place where people are friendly, smile at babies, and watch out for one another. It’s a place where people in need are given assistance, where children are empowered to help. It’s the world where we all live right now, if we only can see it that way.

Leannah writes in very straight-forward prose. He states again and again the certainty that most people are good and that most people see the world exactly the way the reader does. That most people want to help and do good. It is a book that brings a sense of safety to the young reader or listener, one that can help see their community and their school in a different way. It’s also a book that will start conversations about what kind of person they are and what positive changes they want to see in their world.

The illustrations emphasize diversity and the friendly urban setting. The book follows the course of a day and ends with a beautiful city night and people seen through windows and on rooftops as a larger community.

A strong and positive book that is important for children of today. Appropriate for ages 3-5.

This is a lovely book with some great images. The story tells children how that whilst most people are good, there are a few that are bad, but these are only fee and far between and that even the bad people would rather be good - nice book for younger children - 4 stars

This book was an upbeat read-aloud for younger children to teach them that the majority of people do the right thing and have good in them. I am looking forward to sharing this with my students.

Perfect way to help young readers understand some of the bad that goes on = by focusing on the good.

Most People is a lovely book that adresses the issue of people not always being good. No parent wants to see their child become disillusioned with the world, and this book helps deal with this concept in a kind and gentle manner. The lovely illustrations support the text, nicely depicting "not good" actions in ways a young child can grasp, such as stealing and vandalism. Since all children do things that are "not good" it also shows that someone can be sorry, change their actions and be forgiven. Nice book to deal with both sides of this concept - if somebody in a child's world has done something "not good", or if they have.

Explaining humankind and its actions to children can be a daunting task. Why do some people choose to do right while others stray and cause harm? With thoughtful flow, Most People takes us through daily life and the choices people make with the strong message that most people choose kindness and honesty.

I love this book! It is a perspective not often found in children's books so directly, that most people in this world are good. I can't wait to order this for our library, and I will be recommending it to patrons.

A little repetitive, but overall not a bad story! I think it would be good for a story time or even a one on one reading.I thought it was funny when the narrator explained that good people" line would stretch from here to the tallest mountains" and bad people would "crowd together in a dark and gloomy room!" Funny! I love a bit of humor in a story! Illustrations were great. This one was fun and would make a nice gift for a young child.

The message of this book is simple: most people are good and want to do good things. Some people do bad things, but they can change. Helping children understand the world around them can be very beneficial, as they are able to notice not only the dangers of others doing bad things, but also will be able to recognize the goodness in others as they go about their days.

Not a book kids are likely to pick up on their own. Has a great message though. Good for read aloud and discussion.

There is a significant volume of children's literature dedicated to creating awareness of the possible dangers of strangers. While this is a very important lesson for children, a story that highlights the goodness in people is a welcome change. This story would fit very well into a study of communities.

This is a description about most people in the world. How most of us are good and friendly. I think it is a picture book to point out that yes, there is bad in the world, or sad people, or people doing bad things, but most people are not that way. I like the message in this book.

One of my most beautifully decorated and concise examples of Humanistic Psychology. A true stand-out.

This book is really a hand holder, something to give children so they aren't afraid, and children do get afraid when they hear about all the bad things that go on in the world. This is sort of the Mr. Rogers of picture books. It very simply tells children that yes there are bad people out there, but that there aren't a lot of those people. And that some people just need help.

This book makes it very clear that most people are good, and that all the bad people in the world could probably fit into one dark room.

Yes, this is simplified, but children need this kind of reassurance, which is why this gets four stars. If I were more cynical I would rate it lower, but this book wasn't written for me.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

Most people are good people. I think we as adults need to remember this as well as the pre-school children this book is aimed at. This is a gentle book filled with colour and relevant images. We see young children, older people, happy people and sad people within the pages - people all children will have come across. It's an important lesson for everyone to learn that MOST people are good and kind and it is the minority who make poor choices and intentionally hurt others. Morris's illustrations are simple in design yet convey a great level of detail all at once.

This book is very relevant for our times particularly if children begin to ask questions about things they hear about or see on the news. It is important that the simple yet true message is never lost: most people are good people.

'Most People' is a short story that talks about how most people in the world like to be kind, love sunshine, reading books and making people happy. It also talks about how some people do bad things, some people hurt people and say means word but most people are good people.

I think this is a sweet little book that will help children understand that despite the yucky stuff in the world that most people are inherently good. If we look closely at things we will see good stuff all around us. Teaching children not to be afraid of the bad stuff and to enjoy the good stuff is a good lesson to teach them early which is what this book will do.

This book is good for early readers and will be a positive message for your child to read.

This book is a real gem as it offer a great place to start discussing the complicated reality of what it means to be good and bad and that perhaps we are all a bit of both and maybe just a bit better than fear and politics would lead us to believe.
