Very good book. Really enjoyed it. Twist has made a decision that he feels will benefit the gang he is the leader of by kidnapping someone connected to the mafia. He know has a question to answer: How far will he go to bring his decision to fruition and depending on his answer to himself, can he deal with it emotionally and physically? With the way this and other questions are answered, makes this a very interesting read. How Twist comes to his final decision is explained very well. If you are looking for something to different to read, this is the book for you. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review. Very good book.

Twist seems like a character worthy of redemption but he just hasn't figured out all his options yet. Driving around with Twist in the Expedition shaking down thugs and running around with his crew was mildly entertaining but there was no arc. For me as a reader to be able to sympathize and emotionally feel the need for revenge there needs to be multiple dimensions to characters and Still Black Remains failed to deliver this.
