Students need to know some of the "real" skills they will need as adults, and this book helps fill in the gaps.

Not as helpful as I would've liked but it was still an interesting read!

It's a very good book, it was very helpful for me especially since I'm a student who's about to graduate.

I hoped this would be like a skill defining thesaurus. Define a skill, include different wording and have a few examples of work or activities pertaining to it. The skills set of a resume is generally the hardest to write. I was hoping for some information to make writing that section easier.

There is a broader scope of "skills" the author shares that I did not find relevant to my needs or expectations.

This book has been a real gem. It explores the skills and attitudes that are ideal for gaining (and keeping) employment, and has been very useful to myself (I'm in my final year at university). Whilst some of the content of this book is common sense knowledge, it was helpful to see it all set out in one place, and also helped me to identify my own strengths and weaknesses, Great read, very helpful, will be suggesting this for my university bookstore to keep in stock.

As Careers Coordinator in school this book is invaluable for both myself and pupils. The quizzes and opportunities for self-reflection and matching are excellent. a definite buy for school use.
