Thank You Net Galley for the free ARC.
Nancy Kress typically deals with science fiction topics in a very factual. scientific way and this book does not disappoint. The protagonist finds a new DNA haplo-type and aliens that have recently come to Earth seem to be of that haplo-type, so they are human. Why did they come back? They are here to prevent a catastrophic virus that will wipe out most of the Earth's ecosystems. The story takes place before and after the plague hits.
