I would like to thank Allen Kent, NetGalley and the Kindle Press for the ARC ( advanced reading copy) of "The Marburg Mutation" by Allen Kent for my honest review.

The genres of this book are Suspense, Thriller, and Mystery.

I love the way Allen Kent describes the plot. A specialized group of agents working for a clandestine unit of the CIA discover through mostly the international intelligence community, the sale of a deadly virus that can be used as a weapon of mass destruction. It is being sold during a three day auction to the highest bidder. Most of the action takes place in Norway.

The character are described as complex and complicated and well suited for their positions. Very few people know the members who are associated with this unit. The members take upon a new identity and name.

There is action, adventure, killers, bloodshed, and suspense. There are twists and turns. Who is behind the "Marburg Mutation"? Who are the bidders who are playing for life and death? What will happen with the mutated virus? How is the intelligence community dealing with this? This is a book where you are sitting at the edge of your seat, or biting your nails.

I enjoyed "The Marburg Mutation" and didn't want to stop reading until I finished. I would highly recommend this book. This is a series of books, and I look forward to catching up with the past novels and the future ones.
