Loved this Sampler of the author's Lord's of the Underworld Series. Kept me on the edge of my seat, and left me wanting more from the stories. Looking for the series at the book store!

Having read all of the Lords of the Underworld novels, I find that I will never tire of their stories or Gena's fresh take on paranormal romance.

This sampler includes excerpts from the author's series. It has the paranormal mixed in with mythology whic I found different and fascinating.
A sampler of this series was perfect for me. I had been wondering if I truly wanted to read the books. I am hooked!

This was a sampler of Genre's Underworld series. I loved this whole series personally, but then it kept me on the edge of my seat. Each chapter is a different book chapter...as in different book sampler. If you like mystical, fantastical themes - then you'll love this one. I would recommend starting at the very beginning and going from there.

Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series has been one of my go-to series for literally YEARS. I flippin love it, but I've gotten distracted with other books, other series, and life. It happens, ya know? I freely admit that the last two or three installments have been sitting, waiting, on my Kindle for me to get back around to them.

Enter the Lords of the Underworld: The Darkest Sampler! This fantastic little number helped jog my memory about what was going on in the overall series arch, giving me a taste and tease of what I loved about this series to begin with, and made me want to start over at the beginning so I could fully enjoy the awsesomeness that are the Lords of the Underworld.

After reading this sampler, I can't wait to read the entire series again!!!

I love Gena Showalter. I have been trying to get my friends to try her Lords of the Underworld series. I was so happy to see this sampler book, because it convinced my friends to give her a try. They were able to get an idea of her style of writing and the theme of the books. Both of my friends are now devouring the series.

This is a wonderful sampler that contains few chapters from each of the books in the Lord of the Underworld series.

Please note that this is a sampler and not an entire book, it is very helpful into giving you an overview of the books in this fantasy series. The chapters are interesting and will probably leave you wanting more so be ready to grab the books. There's fantasy, paranormal, romance, passion and intrigue.

A great introduction to Gena Showalter's series, shall definitely be grabbing them!

This book offer four chapters from the first thirteen books of the authors Lord of the Underworld Series. Each books is about an immortal warrior who has been cursed to share his body with a demon.. These warrior wanting to teach the Gods a lesson stole dimOuniak from Pandora and released a horde of demons on an unsuspecting world. Because the box had gone missing they were unable to recapture any of the demons that had escaped as punishment they were then forced to house a demon inside himself. In the first four chapters of Darkest Night we meet Maddox the warrior who house Violence,. Maddox is cursed to die each night in the same way that he killed Pandora. When we meet Maddox he is getting ready to meet this violent end. However the group that live together in a fortress in Budapest have another issue and that is human hunters who spend a great deal of time trying to kill them. The security system shows that there are people in the woods around the fortress and Maddox is sent to see who it is and send them away or kill them. Instead he finds Ashlyn who is seeking them because she believe they can help her with her own problem.
The Darkest Kiss is where you meet Lucien the demon of Death. He has been told by Cronus to kill the goddess of Anarchy. Because Cronus is not the God in charge after a takeover that placed Zeus and the others in prison Lucien must do what he is told. However there is a little problem and that is that Lucien is in love with Anya the goddess of Anarchy and she loves him. Regardless he must still carry out Cronus order to kill her..
In the Darkest Pleasure we meet Reyes and the demon Pain.Reyes must hurt himself to find peace, but it is a peace that last only a short time and then he is back in torment again. Now he has met a human name Danika she is terrified of him but he craves her as much as he craves pain.
Each of the books in this series explore the life of one of the warriors and the demon they house. It looks at their life with their fellow warriors and it introduce the female who can tame both demon and man and bring some peace into their lives.

As a lover of all things paranormal romance, I've heard of this series many, many times. I've had the chance to experience the awesomeness of this series when I read The Darkest Torment, but it's always daunting to dive into a series so long. I'm so happy that this sampler was put together, because now I definitely know I want to read this series ASAP.

Love Gena's books... but It was hard to get into this because it was only parts of stories... got to stop just getting samplers! oh drats!

This is a fabulous series. This sampler gives you enough to know that you will love the books. The Lords of the Underworld is a series that you will reread.

I have read and personally purchased every book in this series and have loved every single one of them. This book is a great teaser of everything this series has to offer!

I like the series a lot. The main reason why I picked up the sampler was to get a peek of Darkest Promise.s I've been told that Cameo's story is really good. I was interested enough to go hunting for it, and I'm heartbroken to see that Will and Gilly won't be having a pretty happy ever after.

It always shocks me when a series manages to go completely under my radar, so imagine my surprise when I stumble upon Gena Showalter's The Darkest sampler full of samples of the entire series. And I am now very intrigued!

I really like the Lords of the Underworld series. This book gives the first few chapters of each book in the series. Each of the Lords of the underworld have a demon trapped inside of their physical bodies. These demons were released from Pandora's box when the guardians released them and killed Pandora. They have spent eternity trying to find the box so they can trap their demons in side once again.
This is a paranoral ,erotic romance.

While I have read a few of this author's short stories, I had never made up my mind if I wanted to try this series. There are quite a few books in it and I wasn't sure if they were worth sinking my time into. After reading the beginning of most of the books, I will definitely be giving the first few books in the series a read.

This sampler gives a good taste of the books in this fun and exciting series. I would definitely read the full versions of the books sampled here.

I read the first few books in this series years ago when they first were released. Even after reading hundreds of books since then, I can remember how much I loved the series. This sampler makes me want to start reading them all over again. They grabbed me right from the beginning. I highly recommend.
