I can't believe I've never heard of this series before. Where have I been? I haven't made it through the full sampler as I have decided that I need to read these books, and now understand why Gena Showalter has been recommended to me several times over the years. Thank you for this great sampler offering of the Lords of the Underworld!

This a book full of brief excerpts from the LotU series. I am an avid fan of the series and Ms. Showalter's work. I have read all 12! Lol. I loved re-reading these glances and it made me re-read some of my favorites. I especially loved the excerpt of Darkest Promise which features Cameo possessor of Misery and Lazarus the Cruel and Unusual. I simply cannot wait!

This sampler book was fantastic and i really love the way it was written this authors books are amazing and i read every book by her i can find.

This book is a series of sample from the Lord of the Underworld series. They are an extended excerpt of the books vised at tempting new reader to read the series. They are successful as no one who read four chapter in a book would not want to read the rest. plus as a bonus contant you have the first chapter of the next book of the series coming in June.

O wow the sheer fun I had getting back to this series was amazing. I've loved this series about the Lord's since I first read The Darkest Night but forgotten just how entwined the actual books are. Reading these samples reminded me just how much the author clearly thought ahead and characters are introduced that will reappear in glorious detail throughout the subsequent books. Now I'm sat here anxiously waiting for Cameo to get her happy ending so The Darkest Promise can't come soon enough.
These books might have extreme and completely outrageous characters in them ( Harpies anyone?) but happily they are adult so no stopping at the bedroom doors! This author writes with such imagination and if you haven't tried her work this sampler is an excellent way to dip your toe in. Just please remember these are not complete stories just a fairly good sample of each.

Great intro for new readers to this awesome series! Definitely one of my top favorite authors in the genre. You won't want to miss this!!

I'm a huge fan of the LOTU series. This book is the first couple chapters of each in the series. So if you've already a fan of the series then you know what this one contains. There's also the first chapter of the new one that's coming out next month which stars Cameo. I'm really looking forward to her story. If you've not read this series this teaser will get you interested. It is a fun paranormal romance series with lots of interesting heroes and heroines. Each book has its own HEA with the characters showing up in each book. It can be read as a standalone but much better if you start at the beginning
