Cute, humorous story of a schoolhouse mystery solved by Chico Bon Bon and his well stocked tool belt. The text and dialogue are witty and perfectly suited to the story, which has a nice narrative arc. The illustrations are fun and bright, and children will definitely want to spend time looking through the book at all the details. My class loves the original Monkey with a Tool Belt and I'm so glad to be able to offer them more!

Chico Bon Bon is back, once again, with lots of problem solving ideas for problems that might occur at school. I know students would to have Chico's special tool belt. It's really nice to see so many examples of how Chico's friends cooperate together while solving problems. Lots of great detail.

When the library books go missing, the maps are chewed up, and everyone’s show and tell has a problem Chico Bon Bon knows that this is something that can only be solved with the help of his tool belt. Another book in the series, neither better or worse than others.

This is a cute mystery for children. Chico Bon Bon and his friends are going to school. Of course he wears his trusty tool belt full of tools for any number of emergencies and jobs. He is able to help his friend Clark by repairing his back pack and chair as well as things around the school. After a visit to the library revealed missing books, Chico and his friends began to notice many things missing around the school, including the tacos for lunch. Chico takes on the mystery. Using his magnifying glass to find clues, he found clues around the school. Can Chico solve the mystery? A very cute story about the process of investigating as well as helping others. The illustrations are wonderful. They are colourful, detailed and fun. I would recommend this book to all public, school and family libraries.
