I had high hopes for this book...love the series title. Unfortunately I found the characters flat or annoying...not in a funny, quirky way. Seemed a little slow and bogged down in spots, but the literary quotes were fun.

This book was not my cup of tea. Full of cliches and too many characters. I do not post negative reviews so I will not publicly post my review.

I enjoy any mystery books that include libraries. Since this book featured a nosy parker librarian, I couldn't resist.
I was a bit lost with all the characters, however after reading for a bit, I was bale to grasp the plot.
Juanita is a public librarian and she can't help but become involved whenever there is a murder to be solved.
The murder and it's investigation wasn't the only thing going on in the book, Juanita was also involved in helping a friend get help for an addiction.

I found this book to be very interesting, without the light hearted feelings of a typical cozy mystery.
I believe that this series should be read in order to make the reader have a better view of the characters and their backgrounds.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book provided by Crispin Books & NetGalley.
