Little Who is invited to go to the beach, bu he is afraid of everything to do with the beach. In the book he is asked what his fears are and each fear is addressed. This makes Little Who happy and he is no longer afraid to go to the beach.

Darling illustrations. A fun, quaint read about an Owl at the beach. Although the owl is anxious about the new and sometimes frightening things he encounters on his trip to the beach, he realizes that sometimes these fears and anxieties can be overcome and enjoyed. Perfect for very young readers.

I received this arc from Netgalley for an honest review. This is another great Little Hoo book perfect for little ones who might be scared of the beach. Little Hoo is scared of the beach. There is so much to be scared about with the water and the sharks and all the other sea creatures. It's okay Little Hoo, there are lots to see at the beach.

I thought it would make a fun summer story for little ones, but no. I've read better beach tales. The cover was cute, so I am assuming the illustrations will be very nice. My Kindle for some reason didn't get illustrations. I suppose it doesn't matter really, I wasn't impressed with the story. Sorry.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Xist Publishing for providing me with a digital copy of LITTLE HOO GOES TO THE BEACH enabling me to read it and write a review.

This is an adorable, little picture book. Definitely something I'd read to my niece, perhaps before an upcoming beach trip, or after she gets home and is missing the waves. The art is great. The owls are super cute, and I like the additions of other animals as well. Definitely recommend for reading with your little ones.

Little Hoo takes you on an epic adventure to the beach. A sweet, fun and happy story for young readers. A great one on one or read for a group! Children will enjoy this adventure with Little Hoo!

It is the perfect day to go to the beach but Little Hoo is afraid. What is he afraid of waves? Sharks? Kelp? Crabs? All of these fears are put to rest with fun and colourful illustrations. I loved this book. It was fun, bright and colourful. This is the perfect book to read in preparation for a beach day. It will introduce your child to things that can be found at the beach. At the same time letting them know not to be frightened by them. I recommend this book for the summer.
5/5 ⭐

Little Hoo is a favorite with the patrons, although it is hard to review a text like this without the accomplishing illustrations. In classic Little Hoo style, children are invited to follow the little owl around on his adventures and interact with the story by answering questions or mimicking actions.

This book is great for little kids that are a little apprehensive about trying new things. It explains all the new things you will find on your first beach trip and even to stay away from some while others are fun to explore. I recommend this to any little kids that are going to go to the beach, have been to the beach, want to learn more about the beach or just want to read a nice story about Little Hoo as it explores the world.

A simple primer to get the littlest of kids ready for the beach. A cute story, with an odd but adorable pairing of an owl and a pussycat.

I thought this book would be a delightful book that young children would enjoy. However, I thnk that it might actially instill fears about dangers at the beach. These are probably things they might never have had concerns about prior to reading this book.

This adorable book tells about the fears of Little Hoo, a young owl, who is getting ready to go to the beach. He has many fears and they are all illustrated with large, fun, colourful images. Is he afraid of sharks, crabs, large waves or other things. All he has to do is hold onto his parent's hands and they will keep him safe.
This is a fun story for little ones with a happy ending. Little Hoo goes to the beach and has fun building sandcastles with his friends. The illustrations are cute and go very well with the story. Little Hoo is cute and I think kids will identify with him. My grandson enjoyed talking about the illustrations and comparing what he saw in them to what he sees on the beach when he visits his Nona's cottage. A great addition to a family library or a kindergarten/pre-school classroom.
