This book was adorable. I ate it up! A story of two people overcoming their doubts and insecurities from past relationships in hopes of being with each other.

Jackie sometimes just blurts things out, "...my eyes go to Vince’s buttoned-up shirt and I consider the fact that in all the time I’ve known him, I’ve never seen him without a shirt. He jogs while wearing one. “Do you have hair on your chest?” When his woman is too tired for any nookie, Vince makes compelling arguements, “all you have to do is lay there.” I liked this book, I loved Vince.

ackie is joint VP of marketing, a divorcee she has given up on men, except the hunk-a-hunk-a burning love that runs past her office window every day. If she needs to talk to a man she has her joint VP Vince to talk to.

Vince is also a divorcee. Over the past year or two he and Jackie have commiserated each other over their divorces and got into the habit of spending the weekends together watching films and eating pizza. It's just that recently Vince has had some VERY friendly thoughts about Jackie but she seems to have friend-zoned him completely. Do these two admit their feelings and end up together?

Good friends to lovers story, but the main characters were hard to connect and identify with.

3.5- I loved Vince and Jackie! Vince was pretty swoon worthy and Jackie was an all around good heroine. I loved Vince and Jackie's friendship, and they had a lot of chemistry. I liked the fact that they both went through divorces but in different ways. They were able to bond and make eachother stronger over what happened in both their marriages. For some reason this book seemed really long, I'm not sure if it was just me or not. Overall good read.

This is a warm, funny, sexy read with great characters who leap off the page and demand a beer. The pivot point of the story - that a woman sees a hunk running by her window and lusts after him, confides in her male bestie, who's already a little in love with her - is slightly wacky, but done so well it all makes sense in context. Not only does it make sense it winds us up and flings us into an emotional ride with Vince & Jackie until they can get out of their own way & find their HEA. Together. Thank God. I really enjoyed reading this book - it was fun, well written, nicely paced, with terrific characters. Highly Recommend.

Eye Candy was a very realistic, cute story. I enjoyed the writing, the characters and real life issues between the two main characters. Pheomenal read.

Jacqueline is one half VP at her company. She's a smart, brilliant, beautiful and clumsy. Jackie was just outstanding. She had divorced her husband and thought about getting back on the scene dating wise when she admired a jogger named JT. She was poised. I loved her boldness, but how shy she was at the same time.

Vince was an amazing guy. He was the other VP and best male friend of Jackie's. Vince was a handsome, smart and almost dominating man. I enjoyed him from start to finish. I loved how much he cared for Jackie and tried to make things work.

The romance was beautiful. I mean best friends that work phenomenally as a couple AND business partners, what more could you want. I hated the mind games they played, but at the same time it was essential to their growth. I loved seeing them together and really working hard for what they wanted. Beautiful.

Definitely a good read!

There was so much push and pull and will they or won't they, that you need a neck brace!

It was a good quick read for a friends to lovers romance, though..

Jackie and Vince are have been friends for years, both are divorced, and both have duffle nags of baggage.

Jackie needs help winning back the hot guy (J.T.) who she has the hots for, and Vince is willing to be her coach to get said guy. And you guessed it, they start falling for each other.

There was some great banter, they volleyed their words between each other with ease. There are moments that you chuckle at them or with them. And the angst, chock full of it!

It did get a little annoying with the constant back and forth and hypocrisy of "cheating". You just scream to them "get it together!" And how they tended to handle certain situations was below them and along with shouting "get it together!" you add on "grow up!"

When you get to the end you feel like you made it through the race and deserve a medal!

This is a very fun friends - to - lovers romance. Jacqueline and Vince are best friends as well as co-vice presidents at their marketing firm. They have both suffered damaging divorces and bonded over those experiences. Jackie is just about ready to get back in the saddle and start dating again. And the guy she’s interested in is the hunky guy who jogs past her office window every day and happens to live across the street from her.

Vince has been hiding that he has the hots from the woman he’s been hanging out with for several years watching movies and eating pizza. He’s afraid to say anything to her about his feelings so he pretends to help coach her in dating the shirtless jogging guy. The first half of the book concerns Jackie’s dating life as she follows Vince’s advice. Thankfully, she wises up and falls into bed with Vince who is worthwhile eye candy his own self.

THe second half of the book involves Vince and Jackie figuring out what to make of their relationship. Are they friends with benefits or is there something more between them? At times it was a bit annoying. If both of them would just be honest about their feelings, they could have figured things out much earlier, but then we wouldn’t have had this fun romance to read about. And that would have been a shame.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was super excited to read this book, but it ended up falling a little flat for me. To be upfront. I was having a rough weekend so perhaps that negative energy carried over when reading this particular story--sad to report.

I love the sexually playful banter style seen in the description. However, when reading the book, the story just didn't capture my attention. I kind of pushed myself to keep reading it. I didn't really care for the deception Vince went through when he coached Jackie on how to lead on the runner while in reality hoping Jackie would fall for him. It seemed a bit manipulative and not the best idea when both Vince and Jackie carry baggage from prior failed relationships.

I appreciate the opportunity to read the book, and I hope others respond more positively to it than myself.

Love this book!! Im hoping to get a story on Davis. I think there's a really good story lurking there. What I liked about this book is Jackie and Vince's friendship with each other. They've been there to see each other at their worst. Now Vince is trying to get Jackie back into the dating game, or is?
Jackie Butler believe she just me be in love with the mysterious, gorgeous man who runs by her office window like clockwork everyday. It's become somewhat of a hobby for her and her friend Kayla who, just happens to be happily married but she still likes to look. What Kayla and her friend Vince dos the know is the mysterious runner also lives in her apartment building. She doesn't want them to know because then they will want her to make a date. And she isn't sure she's ready for that again. Dating hasn't gone as planned for her since her divorce.

Vince Carson starts to notice Jackie Butler in more ways then just friends. They have been there for one another since their divorces and now they have an easy friendship with each other. But sleeping with friends never works out. And Butler is pining away for the mysterious man, aka Jaundice, so Vince decides to get Jackie over Jaundice.

Butler can't believe Vince is making her ask out her mystery man. But Butler decides it's time to get back on that horse. So before butler looses her nerve she asks the man out. And within days she has two men she's interested in. And she couldn't be more confused on what to do. Can best friends have sex and still be friends?

I felt like at times this book dragged a little, but overall I really enjoyed this book. The characters were very relatable and the romance was hot. I liked how it shows the insecurities of both, men and women, and how different people deal with those insecurities. The two main characters had great chemistry and I was so happy when they got together in the end! Their journey wasn't easy, but that's what makes it so special. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, hopefully Davis will get his happily ever after next!

This book and story was beyond wonderful. It is about two divorced friends who also work VERY closely together. Vince and Jackie are besties, they hang out on each others couches and hang out together but have never kissed or dated. Vince was divorced one year ago and Jackie three but Jackie was cheated on and Vince just lost his wife.

The one who has not recovered really is Jackie, but she has this big crush on this guy who jogs by her work and lives in her apartment, JT. So Vince helps her date him. But the thing is Vince wants her too. So what happens? Well I am not spoiling the story but this was a really fun and romantic story.

I LOVE Vince and I loved this story. It was fun watching Jackie really find herself and figure out what she wants in a man.

Eye candy is best friends to lovers love story. It is ok story with interesting characters but I expected more. Both Jackie and Vince are hurt from their exes and that is what brought them together. But in between the feelings become deeper and Jackie’s obsession over runner push Vince in to action. But he does it wrong and his good friend Davis help him to find the right way. Of course old insecurities come to life an again they are both feeling betrayed.

I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I’ll be one of the first to admit that one of my favorite kinds of love stories is best friends falling for each other. You know: ‘real love.’ And that’s what this story is. “I just kissed my best friend. And hell, I don’t know if she wanted me to.”

I wasn’t sure I was gonna like the divorced aspect, but I did. Just wish we saw Jackie’s ex as much as we saw Vince’s, so then they’d have more of an equal fight going on. But Vince’s plan to have Jackie date a tool (well, any guy, actually) so after said tool inevitably breaks it off, Vince can then swoop in and show her what a good guy looks like, ah, is kind of crazy, yes, but if she has commitment issues, then I guess I don’t blame him for having to do something crazy to get the girl. And yes he did. Eventually.

And the chemistry between them was awesome. Loved the scene on the stairs. And the Bethany and J.T. scene. The fight really bothered me though. You both have trust issues. Jackie did something stupid. Vince knows this is her first real attempt back into the dating world. He should have really gotten past it quicker. He probably would have freaked out if he saw Jackie with her ex. That part just bothered me. They were both being immature and stupid about it to me, and that was annoying to see. Did love Davis attempting to knock some sense into them though. That was cool.

“I don’t think we should do too many meetings together because it’s obvious how much we love each other…To avoid everyone being grossed out all the time, we should keep our desires reserved for before nine and after five.”

For some reason, I just really wanted to know how old Jackie and Vince were. And for them to have a conversation about babies. ‘Cause, you know. If you’re gonna be together forever, then you gotta talk about babies. Didn’t they have those conversations in their previous marriages?

And I love Davis. So excited for his story! And I so agree with Jackie- mailing someone an envelope full of glitter is a damn fine weapon of revenge. Remind me to never piss her off.

“…I still think you can do better.”
“Well, probably…But you’re the one I’m in love with, so I guess I’ll have to make it work.”

➳A love story that is filled with second chances, doubts, and going from a friends to lovers relationship that will swoon you away through every word that Jessica has brought to the reader…
➳Friends that have known each other and made each other comfortable in the most comforts of ways, decide to move on from their friend zone to an intimate zone. As the vice presidents from the same company, Jacqueline and Vince has been friends through the thick and thin. Both are attractive parties that unfortunately have not seen that aspect of themselves in a way to share towards each other. It came down to the final straw that Vince had to convince Jacqueline to go out with him, instead of that one guy whom Jacqueline has been googling over whenever he runs outside her window for his morning jogs. To her, Vince was the one divorcee friend whom she wanted to respect and keep as a friend, if not, sometimes wanting to be more. Unfortunately, her mind was all wrapped around the fact that she thinks it’s too early for Vince to be out in the world and explore with other women. what she did not know is that Vince had already taken that set forward, he had been exploring the waters with other women, however, his interest never spiked above and beyond as his interest spikes with Jacqueline. To him though, Jacqueline is someone who he really cares for and does not want to hurt her, but he feel possessive of their friendship, but of her in general;
“She’s not the fucking type. She’s the main love type, and I’ve started wondering if Jackie might be a girl I’d like to make love to…”

➳After the first awkward attempt, and many other make out “sessions,” Vince and Jacqueline end up finding out they fit perfectly in everyday. They may have been friends that knew each other, but throughout time, and many other dates, they ended up knowing each other more and more. That is the sweet spot about this love story. The same message we hear all the time about not knowing someone as much as we think we do, and Jessica Lemmon has brought that message to above and beyond.

➳Overall I enjoyed this love story. The only factor that I did not like was the whole date me and date him as well scenario. I am not one who likes stories with the “sharing is fine” memo, so this was something that triggered a dislike from me.Though overall, the third party was needed in this love story to determine the passion Vince and Jacqueline actually have for each other.
