Whew, what a steamy book. I'm a sucker for the "best friends turned lovers" story line, so this book appealed to me on a lot of levels. Eye Candy was well written, sexy, and kept me coming back for more. I'm looking forward to reading more books by Jessica Lemmon!

My first time reading a book by this author and it won't be my last. I liked Jacqueline, or Butler, from the start and Vince is a hoot. The pace may have been a bit slow and it took a while for me to understand Vince's reasoning for his coaching. However, there were some great scenes and dialogue that helped move the story along and their first time together was super hot. There could have been better communication between them and I found that story came to an abrupt stop.

Eye Candy is a perfect, steamy romantic-comedy standalone that you won't want to put down! The sexual tension is perfect and you will fall in love with these two characters. I felt so bad for both Vince and Jackie because they both deserve real happiness considering what they've both been through and you're heart will ache for them, but you'll also laugh out loud and snort as times! Perfect combination of steamy and funny. I cannot wait to read Davis's story -- I bet he has some secrets to share! ;) Would absolutely recommend this book!

OMG I am totally in love with this book by Jessica Lemmon. Eye Candy was funny, sexy, entertaining and always had me wanting more. If you are looking for a amazing friends to lovers romance then i strongly recommend you pick up a copy of Eye Candy. I didn't want Jackie and Vince's story to end. The connection/banter between them was fantastic. Jackie and Vince are both CO-VP's for a marketing firm and also divorcee's. Thru there experiences they have developed an amazing friend ship. Jackie is done with dating but can't help to ogle a sexy male runner who jogs past her window at the same time every day. Vince is starting to notice that his feelings for Jackie are more than friends feeling but knows that she would not cross the line with him. Find out how he gets her to get over her non dating and how he slides in to save the day. I can't wait for more books from this author.

This was an excellent 'friends to lovers' story and I loved that the first guy we're introduced to might not be the best guy. With a bit of a slow burn, I thought author kept fantastic chemistry between the hero and heroine throughout the novel. Based on this book, I would check out others stories by the author!

I was gifted this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. While overall it was a pretty good book. And that it took a minute to get their happily ever after. I didn't like the games they had to play and all the insecurities to get where ended up at the end. For instance, Vince pretending to coach her to just to get her. Jackie with her indecisiveness, not sure of what she wanted. I get that she was she cheated on. But she used that as a crutch and excuse for everything. I would like to see Davis get his own story because he was certainly a piece of work.

Whether you've been divorced, cheated on, broken up with, or just felt more for a friend than you thought they do for you- so many can relate to this story. It's well written and reaches a range of audience. Ms. Lemmon does a great job getting you inside the minds of the characters so you can almost feel what they are going thru as you read their story. This book has the perfect mix of easy read (her writing just flows), romantic sparks (but not enough to push you into the don't-read-in-front-of-others category), ups and downs of a relationship, and some classic girl time/buddy time moments. Recommend to anyone wanting a good modern day romance!

Man, this book left me frustrated a few times (which in this case was a sign of stellar writing) Vince and Jackie can just not get their shit together. The ups and the downs were a rollercoaster of emotion. But the ending made it all worth it. I'm really liking forward to the next one.

3 Stars. Sorry, but I just didn't like this book. I hate that Vince is playing games with Jackie & than gives up on her for being jealous! Than he goes & gets jealous of JT after he tells Jackie he's done with her?! What!?! When Jackie tells him she's in love with him, she's being a bigger person than I would've been! And does Vince tell Jackie that he loves her too? No! Really Vince, really?! Vince is a childish jerk that overreacts ALL the time! This book made me mad & frustrated! Mostly at Vince. It was a good story but I just couldn't get over Vince & his stupid way of thinking! First he wants Jackie, than he doesn't, changed his mind-again-and wants her only to end everything over a ridiculous fight?! Make up your mind, man! It would've pissed me off to where I'd probably do to Vince what Jackie's sister did to J.T.!! This was just a very frustrating book!

Love it! Love it! Love it!

Friends to lovers is my favorite trope and this was executed perfectly! The characters have each had failed marriages and neither has had a serious relationship (with the opposite sex) since, except for their’s.

This read is sexy, steamy, fun, honest and real! Eye Candy seriously has it all!

I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

A cute Rom Com type romance book with a humorous hero and witty banter. A little drawn out about the shenanigans of getting the two dating, but overall an enjoyable story with likable characters.

Eye Candy was sugary sweet! I love the friends to lovers book but this one scared me with the twists and turns it took. Were they going to make it together?

When Jackie is in lust of the mysterious jogger who runs by her place of work daily her best friend Vince is going to give her pointers to win him over. Problem is, Vince has a thing for Jackie and doesn't know that Jackie has a thing for him. Taking stupid advice from his friend Davies almost derails the whole thing. Ugh!

No two ways around it, this was a really good book. Admittedly, the title drew me to see what the book was about, but it was the story that kept me there. This particular tale starts with divorce, and then there's the attention contention between the eye candy and the coworker friend. Jackie is just going to have to make up her mind sooner or later. This book is rated R as there is a moderate amount of sex, but that is not what drives the book. It's well written, holds your attention, and is very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this friends-to-lovers story! Jackie and Vince make an awesome couple once they get past their baggage from previous marriages! This story has a good storyline with great characters and it's steamy, sexy, has your laugh out loud moments, great chemistry and banter! Highly recommend this! Can't wait for Davis's story!

Jackie's love life is dismal. The high point of her day is watching one of the guys who lives in her apartment complex going out for his run. J.T. (that is the name on his mailbox) looks perfect with his shirt off, blonde hair blowing in the breeze, and body to die for. Can Jackie work up the courage to talk to him? Her best friend at work, Vince, decides to give her some pointers, pretending to coach her, when what he really wants is Jackie. It's a comedic free for all after that with misunderstandings, and awkward conversations. Fun romance read!

This book had all the right feels; funny and light hearted buy also deep and intense. The characters are likeable and yet so flawed with their own nuances that either irritate you or make you root for them.

Overall, a fun read

Jacqueline and Vince really shine in their friends to lovers romance. Eye Candy by Jessica Lemmon was a charming contemporary romance with witty banter and heart felt progression. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for a honest review.
