This book was a difficult one to get through. Throughout the first half of the book, I kept thinking "seriously, this guy has drunk a little too much of his own Kool-Aid and where is the editor to stop this madness".
The author makes some good points as to why some people are successful and why others aren't and he goes to great length describing the various types of people who fail at becoming successful. But instead of delivering this succinctly, he drones on and on and on to a degree that made me stop reading the book.
However, instead of giving up entirely, I picked up his first book, one that I had seen recommended several places. That book delivered! So after a couple of month's break, I returned to the present book. And just as I hit the halfway point in this book, it started delivering! And it kept delivering, again and again and again.
For serious entrepreneurs, this book offers tons of practical advice in many categories. My advice to readers, skim the first half and then seriously dive into the second half. It is well worth it.
To the publisher and author: hire an editor that understand how to tie in the most important points and cut some of the repetitive stuff in the beginning, it turns people off.
