A quick easy read, even though you're able guess what will happen, it was still an entertaining story.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and Netgalley. I am providing my honest review.

Missing the Crown Jewel was a really enjoyable romance of friendship and love. A Kentucky Ranch, a girl who knows what she wants and a brother’s best friend gives us Peyton and Storm’s story. The characters and storyline are believable and I found myself invested in the characters from very early. I look forward to reading more by this author

Missing the Crown Jewel, is a story of family, friendship and love. Although this was my first time reading Valerie J. Clarizio's work I wasn't disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed this story. The story line is a great blend of romance, intrigue and suspense.
I found Payton and Mason's characters to both be quite endearing. This pair are quite complex yet vulnerable, and have pasts that have both defined them and still haunt them.
The story is well written, and I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the Chandler County series, and look forward to reading more of this series, and this author's work in the future.
I would recommend Missing the Crown Jewel to anyone who enjoys a romantic suspense, small town romance, or contemporary romance.

I read Missing the Crown Jewels by author Valerie J Clarizio. This is the first book I have read by this author and loved it. Its a quick easy read but has a lot of dynamics to it. Throughout this story-line there is plot twins and turns but don't worry you wont get lost. Its has suspense, romance, a little comedy and some sexual tension and mystery. This is a book you wont want to put down. This book will leave you wanting more from the characters Storm, Coach, Peyton and Robert. I can't wait to see what the second book is about in the A Chandler County novel. This could be a great summer read but if you get a chance I would recommend you read this before then.
