IT'S ME AGAIN, BABY by Katie Reus the 3rd book in the O'Conner Family Series is another winner. Maguire and Samantha "Sam" have spent three years apart because of a misunderstanding caused by someone else. Sam moves back home when her father dies and the fire that she and Maguire felt years ago sparks again... throw in a crazy stalker and a well meaning family and you have a great story with a wonder HEA. I am looking forward to MISTLETOE ME, BABY in November the last O'Conner sibling's story. Keep up the great work Katie ...

Reading one of Katie Reus’ books is a no brainer. I have a standing preorder alert for her new releases and was never disappointed. I couldn’t even decide which of her book would be my favorite, because I have so many that I like.
That being said I still am wary each time I get a new one of hers in my hands, because, how could she possibly hold up to the high standards she set for herself with her previous books?
How could a novella like this hold up to her novel length paranormal books that I love?
With these thoughts in mind I dove in the Christmassy setting of “It’s me again, Baby” set in Holly where Christmas is all year round. I really liked the other books in this series, so I wasn’t too concerned about this one being a disappointment.
And of course she delivered on spot! With only a few words the author managed to build the setting, characterize the persons and make me fall in love with them. Even though it is a short novella, the characters were better build than some others in full-length novels I read. They lived and breathed and I was so glad how everything turned out in the end. It was perfect.
Well, almost perfect. As I said before it is “only” a novella and because of that too short. The characters are so nice and I wanted to stay with them longer. Way longer.
The writing style was easy to get in and supported the plot perfectly. There were no mistakes, plotholes or other things that would have lessened my reading joy.
If you are looking for a quick and easy read you can enjoy without having read the other books in the series, this one is a recommendation. Even though It is part of a series, it can be easily read as a standalone and I really recommend it if you haven’T read a book of this author before. It is a good start before you get sucked in in all the other great books Katie Reus has already published!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy read about Samantha and Maguie on of the O'Connor Family brothers from Ms Reus series O'Connor. Samantha and Magire just started to fall in love shortly after high school. Samantha however hears something about Magure and instead of going to him and asking if it is true she fleas Holly, N Carolina to set out on her own. Years later she has come back home and eventually runs into Maguire. The two have never gotten over one another and discover that a misunderstanding is the reason Sam fled. Once Maguire hears the reason he is determined to get Sam back and makes no bones about it. He will do anything. Sam feels the same way and when a stalker follows her to Holly she sees just how determined Maguie is to make sure he never loses her. I loved this book and the HEA

I really really love this series. Firstly they are written by one of my fave authors, Secondly they are jam packed from start to finish, Thirdly the hero is as alpha as us romance readers have come to love, the heroine is also sassy and strong and Fourth, the books are short, sweet and supremely sexy!!

This is the story of Maguire and Sam. Due to a slight misunderstanding 3 years prior the 2 of them broke up, and now its 3 years later, they are both back in the town of Holly and circumstances bring them together again. I loved how the quick the problem was sorted and they became a couple again. I am not a fan of drawn out plots, which is why I love books like this. I prefer to read about them together as a couple....so this one worked for me in a big way.

Don't want to give too much away, but if you are a fan of this author, then this is just as good as ALL her previous books, and I highly recommend you get yourself acquainted withe the O'Connor Family as soon as possible!!!

I adore second-chance stories. This is a good example. Thank you Katie for the ARC for this review! The chemistry between these two is HOT! They can't keep their hands off each other...yum.

I love these continuing stories about Holly North Carolina where it's always Christmas. This short-story about Maguire O'Connor and Sam, home town girl is a good addition to the sub-genre. It's a quick read, but then these two were insta-hot 3 years ago. After realizing their break up was over a lie a vindictive girl told Sam, all is forgiven because the chemistry is still there. They have both grown up, experienced life and it's time to get real with their relationship. As Sam has a stalker who's followed her home from Oregon, it's a good thing Maguire is a former SEAL who can protect her and help the police catch him.

A sweet read, good second chance story

Dang Maguire just puts it all out there, “not a question. If I’m dating you, I’m not dating anyone else.” And neither are you was the silent statement." Sam has no problem putting Maguire in his place, “well, annoyed at least. You just say these things without asking me. That’s not how relationships work.” I loved this second chance romance book, it was a quick read, and I just fell in love with Maguire.

Samantha comes back to Holly after her father passes away. She is a real estate agent and about to meet her new client.
Maguire was in the Marines but when he came home, he opened several shops and restores cars. He is shocked to see Samantha and knows his mother had something to do with this. Several years ago they had a short fling that ended badly on one side. Samantha thought he was seeing another girl and she broke off all contact.
Now they are finding their way back to each other but Samantha has a stalker and Maguire will let nothing come between them.
Second chance at love. Stalker. Some very creative sex scenes. Really loved the story.

It's Me Again, Baby was the perfect length for a quiet rainy day that I just had. It was cute, but in a sexy kind of way. And the way they both love and care for their mommas says a lot about the kind of people that they are.
