Who are Mandy and Devon? Where do they work? What happens when Mandy is heading to her mother's house one day after work with dinner? Oh my, what happens that causes Ben to crash his truck? I could not stop laughing! It was funny as all get out! I suspect it will include ribbing opportunities throughout the book. What mischief does Mandy get Ben to go along with? What is the result? I love reading about Ben's family. Meeting his brothers and sisters was fantastic. Watching the trials that Mandy and Ben go through were heartbreaking in spots, but at the same time, as I think back to what I read, the protectiveness that came through from Ben when Mandy told him why she had not picked up her phone had me laughing at his actions. This is truly an incredible love story and I look forward to reading more from Trish Millburn.

Like all Harlequin titles, feels like pulling on a comfy old pair of sweats - you wouldn't want to wear them outside of the house, but you love them anyways.

Mandy's day isn't going so well and figured that's when Ben Hartly does a bit of damaged to her car with a outrageous story. While her car is in the shop Ben offers her some assistance by driving her around but the more time they spend around each other the feeling start to grow. Problem is while Many has her sights set on her future with a husband and children, Ben has others plans that don't involve children. Both different plans and they have to see if they can work things out.

Overall this was a pretty sweet romance, full of meddling neighbors and family members, oh and a large cat. I loved seeing the spark a between the two and wondering how their lives would work out with such differences of opinions when it came to the future. This book is your typical cheesey romance but I love that type of stuff so this book was a pretty good read for me and I enjoyed it.

This is such a charming story with heartfelt, sweet romance, subtle humor that had me laughing out loud, family bonds that go beyond blood, and a tiny house that made me envious!
I enjoyed the first book in the series, the Hartley family has taken a hold of my heart, and this second installation just confirmed it. I love that the Hartley's have adopted five children who needed a home, a family they can count on. And now the kids are grown and the bond is stronger than ever. The tightness of that bond is evident, the love and respect the 'kids' have for their parents is sincere. I love, love, love it when the mom gets all over their business, yet they just hug her and listen to her.
Mandy Richardson is a heroine easy to like and relate to. I absolutely adore that she lives in a tiny house, works in the yarn shop, and likes to bike! She is fun, spunky, considerate, kind woman, the kind of person I would love to be friends with. She grew up with her hard-working single mom and her dedication and respect to her mom is evident in everything that she does.
Ben Hartley lived his early childhood in a human hell with unfit parents until the Hartley's gave him a forever home. Ben is a solid, trustworthy, fun, kind, and protective man. His childhood has left some deep scars in his mind as well as in his body, scars that have convinced him he is unfit to be in a long term relationship or to father a child.
Mandy and Ben truly are perfect together. They klick, they fit, they have fun together. They enjoy each others company, they like each other as well as admire each other, they have chemistry off the charts and the attraction smoldering between them is flammable. They had me laughing with their antics, sighing with the romance, and in tears when the scars from the past start to hurt in the present and causes conflicts in their lives.
This alluring, amusing, and delicious romance story with strong family values and charismatic characters was enjoyable and entertaining, touched my emotions, and made me want to spend time in Blue Falls, Texas!

This was so good that I laughed my fanny off. I love when my romance books have humor and boy did I laugh & cry on this one! It has been a long time since I was entertained by a Harlequin read and Ms. Milburn delivered in spades! This is a must buy for all romance readers!

Tiny house owners rejoice! This is a great reminder how family always has your back. AND the back of your crush as they push you together.

Mandy has dreams of love and a family but for now her tiny house, on a secluded riverbank, is perfect. Mandy and Ben have know each other for awhile but recent events have them taking a second look. It helps when friends and family are meddlesome.

One night of giving in should have scratched the itch. Maybe a few nights would be better. Keeping secrets in a small town is harder than it looks. Little do they know what fate has already decided. Can they overcome fear and make a life together?

A fun and heartwarming read. I really liked that the story didn't start off with Mandy being pregnant, but rather she and Ben realizing that they like each other and trying to take it from there. It really makes the pregnancy a surprise to the characters, one that Ben gets a good tongue-lashing from his mother for. There's a little depth and a lot of heart- my favorite kind of read on a warm day.

Engaging characters full of wit and charm, a sweet romance ... what's not to love?

Ben and Mandy are characters I would like to know in real life. Their growing attraction is sweet, their friendship is, too. This is one of those stories that left a smile on my face.
