The second book in M. C. Morrison's time traveling series, Time Knot, is rich in a variety of cultures and time periods. It follows the adventures of young Rhory as he is once again recruited to thwart the power grab of another group of time travelers and protect ancient knowledge for future generations. Along the way he makes new friends, meets old aquaintances, and finds himself learning things about history that were not necessarily in his school books.
Although the day was saved, the story ended on a bit of a to be continued with the bad guys regrouping for their next attempt. It is uncertain exactly what their end goal is, but it seems likely that Rhory will be called upon again. A thoroughly enjoyable read for any age and I look forward to the next book.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I have lost interest in the concept. I have realized that this is a part of the series and I haven't read any previous book in the series. Thank you for providing the copy though. I look forward to reading some more titles of yours. Thanks!

I could not get myself to finish this story. The wording was too easy, the characters did not seem believable in the slightest and I found myself dreading having to continue to read it. I would have labeled this as MG not YA.

I was at a slight disadvantage since I didn't realise initially that this was the next book in a series. That said I like well done time travel adventure and it was such a relief that Time Knot tackled different times and places than 18th C Scotland. Rhory is a great character (with a terribke name) who is very relatable. I really enjoyed this and didn't find picking the book up mid series too detrimental. A fast paced action adventure across time.

This book is in the same vein as Time Sphere - which makes sense since it's second in the series. As an adult, I really disliked this book. However, I passed it off to my twelve year old, who is obsessed with history and the possibility of time travel, and he adored it. So there you go. The plot is...not that extraordinary, but apparently 'awesome' to a preteen! There is a lot of history, mythology, and science fiction all woven together with some character lessons as well. It's a young adult novel.

I didn't realize that this was book two of a series, she must reluctantly wait to read this until I get book one, as it is fantasy and most fantasy books are required to be read in order. My apologies, but I will definitely get book one somehow to read all of the series and leave a proper review!
