I have read several books by Mark Batterson and was interested in seeing what his taken on Biblical manhood was. While the book had a lot of great things to say, quotable passages, and meaningful stories, it wasn't my favorite book on the subject.

I am a woman. But seeing a book about calling men out and encouraging them into who they are meant to be... well, I wanted to read it. Not because I want to tear down whatever ideas Mark Batterson presents but because as a woman that wants men to be who they were created to be in church, families, community I want to know how to support them in their roles well.

Batterson wrote an excellent book encouraging men to stand up and play the man. Rise up mighty warriors!
