Suit Your Selfie was a fun short collection of Pearls Before Swine comics aimed towards a younger audience.

Having been a fan of Pearls Before Swine for years, I have previously seen most of the comics included in this collection. My favorites in the collection are the ones where Rat is explaining old technology and items that kids these days wouldn't use (such as a phone booth, corded phone, etc.) while the kids are horrified at how slow and more difficult life used to be in the pre-cell phone era.

The collection has some strips that contain good tidbits about life and how we deal with everything that comes our way which is a good thing for younger audiences to read. However, overall the collection does skip around a lot and there isn't one flowing story as seen in the larger collections. This is likely due to weeding out the strips with adult content and probably couldn't be helped.

Sadly my favorite of the Pearls characters (Guard Duck) only makes one appearance in the collection. I'm guessing he's a bit too violent for the younger readers, but he is my favorite of the characters.

Overall, this was a fun short read that gave me a taste of one of my favorite comic strips on the market. I'd definitely recommend it for Pearls fans, and those with younger kids looking to get into comic strips.

I am unable to review since the book is not available in Kindle format. Unfortunately, I did not see that before I selected "read now".

The ones from Pearls Hogs the Road, but in colour, without even the PG ones (as this is a collection for kids), and without the director's cut footnotes. Pearls Hogs the Road told us what collections it reprinted, and I'm sure neither of them were this volume. So in other words the producers of this get money from it being in print, online, and now in three different books. Yes, the contents are OK, but that really is Pearls for old rope.

A decent collection of "Pearls Before Swine" comics. Although this is supposed to be tailored towards middle grade readers, the tone of the comics isn't really any different than the standard daily strips. I did notice a few that were previously published in the dailies, so I'm not sure if these have all been printed elsewhere before, or if there are some new ones mixed in as well.

It is a fun collection to flip through if you like "Pearls," but I honestly could not see myself buying a copy of this. I think I like more substantial collections when it comes to these types of comics.
