Catsass is a rude kitty, like a more vulgar grumpy cat. Explore your creative side and draw some cat buttholes, coloring pages, puzzles, see humorous insight into the world of cats, super funny and perfectly relatable for those of us who have lovable little assholes of our own.

Perfect 'activity' book for everyone to enjoy, brought to you by cats! What better way to relax than doing puzzles?

Hmmm...it's probably not a great endorsement that I finished this book and thought was that really necessary? Maybe because I just read another cat-loving book where the protagonist might be me (in a kind of Fight Club situation wherein I don't actually know it is me but it is) and Life Lessons from Catsass is more from the perspective of an asshole cat. I have an asshole cat. While Catsass hits all the targets regarding asshole cat behaviour, all it made me do was remember the time my asshole cat peed on my half-way finished 3000 piece puzzle of Guernica, completely ruining it while looking smugly at me all the while.

Cats are jerks.

(Also I love cats.)

(Hopefully your cat isn't an asshole.)

(And I keep typing Catass rather than Catsass.)

Fin.

This is a cute book with cats giving wisdom as they see it. Humorous and light. Catsass gives activities to help you achieve your zen goal including putting together a $3000 vase he broke. There are coloring pages and quizzes among the pearls of wisdom.

Things are good in it. Okay kind of book for me.

I thank Netgalley for the opportunity to review this work

This is a cute humorous book of how Catsass' life is way cooler than yours. He does provide some advice, tests, games and activities to help you achieve your goal of being a cool cat. Have fun

The book was cute and the comics were amusing, as all cats typically are. The "sass" was perfect and made for a nice light read.

This was okay. I enjoyed it well enough, but I wasn't overly excited about it.

This is a really cute book for anyone who enjoys cats. I thought it was simply going to be a comic about cats but it was actually more of an interactive activity book, which I love! This book is hilarious and I recommend it to all cat lovers!

Not sure how I actually feel about this book. Totally random and not particularly funny - sorry. Wouldn't spend money on it.

The ARC I received of this book is missing quite a bit of content, which was frustrating because what I can see, I love. Hilarious and snarky, Catsass is Garfield, but with a small amount of cursing. There are 'puzzles' featured in this book, including a cross-kitty-word puzzle, get through the maze, put the pieces together of the broken $3,000 vase.

Seriously, this is hilarious, and so much fun.

Life Lessons from Catass by Claude Combacau is currently scheduled for release on July 4 2017. This is a book full of sassy, cat-themed coloring pages, mazes, and puzzles with directions like: “Put the pieces of the $3,000 vase Catsass just destroyed back together. Three odd pieces are parts of other ruined objects because you don’t deserve to have it easy.” Combacau’s “Catsass” cartoons about a mischief-making feline remind cat lovers and haters alike that cats are mostly self-serving creatures. Yes, your particular cat may be awesome and sweet, but this does not make up for the number of cats whose favorite activity is knocking stuff over.

Life Lessons from Catass is a collection of activities all featuring Catsass, who I will admit to having never heard of before, even though I thought I was current on my cartoon and internet cats. Catsass is a cat that is full of mischief and more than a little crass on occasion. I think Catsass shows all the aspects of cats that haters are quick to see and point out, and that cat lovers are aware of but try to ignore. I will admit to chuckling a time or two, and finding the activities to be cute and clever. However, I think it went on just a little too long.

Activity book for lovers of rude cats (3 stars)

Cats are hilarious but I confess I just didn't find Catsass very funny. That said I think lots of folks will. What saves it from being too dull for me is that it's a coloring and activity book for grownups. If you're someone who has hopped on the coloring book fad and could use one featuring cats that's more crass than cute this would be a good option. Or maybe you just want to try out a book that's more activity book than just coloring? Either way I think you'll like it.

I am a fan of cats. I post cat memes on Facebook. I like cat tweets. I watch cat videos. When I'm having a bad day, I just take a deep breath and think of how much better my life would be if I were a cat. And that is just what Catsass thinks too--his life is far, far better than ours. And Catsass is ready to share all his wisdom with us.

Life Lessons from Catsass is a collection of puzzles, quizzes, activities, and coloring pages from Catsass and his illustrator/human/slave Claude Combacau. This charming book is filled with fun things for you to do, like zen coloring of rolls of toilet paper, a crossword of things Catsass might say, a maze to help you get Catsass to his human's toes, and the chance to put together all the pieces of the $3,000 vase that Catsass broke. Are you a real cat? Take the quiz. Make a DIY kitty toy. See if you're part of the cult of cat lovers. And find out what cats really think of laser pointers in a clever connect-the-dots game.

Check out Catsass's recipe for the perfect burger (it has bacon, to give life meaning, as well as the cat equivalent of pickles, which seems to be a small rodent). Or you can use his recipe for a birthday cake (spoiler: the recipe does involve rolling in the flour). There are feline history lessons from Professor Catsass and cat tree assembly instructions.

Cat lovers of all ages will laugh out loud at this book, and at themselves, seeing the fun activities and lessons in this short book. With adorable illustrations and a badass attitude, Life Lessons from Catsass makes a fantastic gift for any cat lover, anyone who thinks they might be a cat, or anyone (like me) who wants to be a cat.

Galleys for Life Lessons from Catsass were provided by Andrews McMeel Publishing through NetGalley.com, with many thanks.

Life Lessons from Catsass is a cute, cat-themed activity book for all ages. It's up to you whether his name is pronounced Cat's Ass or Cat Sass - either is appropriate! A perfect activity book for the cat lover in your life!

Funny, entertaining, and perfect for cat owners.

First of all, I love the cat's name. It matches his personality perfectly. Usually, this kind of book just makes me chuckle, but this one made me laugh out loud numerous times.
I loved how it poked fun at all the popular fads of the moment (like adult coulouring and activity books), but it does it in such a comical way that it entices you to, after you stop laughing, get your pencils out and try to solve that damned maze.
(well, it enticed me, and I'm not so easily swayed when it comes to these fads...)
The humour was witty and just the right amount of snarky.
Only remark; I don't think the 'April fools' joke on p 102-103 translated to English, as there is no real equivalent for 'poisson d'avril'. But I thought it was really funny anyways, transported me right back to my childhood.

I didn't really understand the point of this. I think it would have been better as a comic book rather than an "exercise book".
