This is my first time reading this author and I LOVED this book. I loved all the characters but especially Dawson and Sutton. Those two have great chemistry and angyst but they are also so sweet with each other.

Growing up Sutton and Dawson were in love. From the 7th grade until they were 18. But as with many young couples life got in the way. Sutton had the great family and parents and Dawson had a hungry brother and mother to fee. So when he got a chance for a full ride to a college he took it and Sutton wanted country music, so they parted ways and he always thought Sutton chose music over hime. Meanwhile Sutton waited and waited for Dawson to come for her but he never did.

Now it is ten years later and Sutton has made it so she goes back home and discovers that her beloved theatre is going to be leveled and a hotel is going up instead and she is horrified and worse she discovers Dawson is destroying it.

What developes is her trying to get to know Dawson now and learn how she can talk him out of it. Dawson just wants peace and for her to realise the old theatre needs to be leveled because its an eye sore. And that is when the fun begins. Both have loved each other for ten years and I loved how fun Sutton is. Dawson is the perfect partner for her as he lets her have fun and run wild but watches the show.

If you are looking for a sweet and romantic read in a small town that is also flirty and fun well this is the perfect book. I totally loved every minute and will have to read the authors other books.
