Sir Muffin the cat watches over his baby human, Emma, and her wild dreams. One night, as Emma is snoozing, Sir Muffin notices dustrats, little creatures who come out from under Emma’s bed which wasn’t cleaned. He pursues them through the house with a vacuum as Emma’s dreams take him from the kitchen fridge to the arctic, from the living room to a fantastical forest with mythical wildlife, from the bathroom to the sea, and other wondrous places.A really great bedtime story (and you can even make finding the dustrats in each room into a little game!)

This is a sweet simple story. But the book has the most beautiful, amazing illustrations. You could spend hours looking at every detail. The kids will love this book.

Dustrats! Or, the Adventures of Sir Muffin Muffinsson by Adria Regordosa is a picture book with silly, detailed illustrations. Beautiful colors make the illustrations pop and the cat, Sir Muffin, watches over and protects Emma as she rests. The dustrats scurry through the story's pages and travel into each day of the week while visiting fascinating places. The dustrats start out as a nuisance but help Sir Muffin in the end. 4 stars for beautifully illustrated book! I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Sir Muffin Muffinsson is a watchful cat who helps keep bad dreams at bay. While the story is on the bizarre side, the illustrations carried this book. Sir Muffin watches over his human charge, Emma, every night while she sleeps. The house was not cleaned up each day, so at night, seven dust rats come out to play while Emma sleeps and dreams. They run around the house each to a different room and have adventures that coincide with Emma's dreams. Due to the amount of time it takes Sir Muffin to catch them, they have to save Emma as she is floating away with her dreams. the illustrations are full of amazing details and colour. they are full of imaginary beings and places. A cute book for a bedtime story for children that are old enough not to have bad dreams.

'Dustrats: Or, the Adventures of Sir Muffin Muffinson' by Adria Regodosa is a fanciful tale of pretty great imagination. The art is detailed and really nice.

Sir Muffin Muffinson watches over baby Emma while she sleeps. If the room isn't tidy, the dustrats come out to play. Then Sir Muffin must don his trusty vacuum backpack and catch them. The problem is that as they hide in each room the rooms are transformed into different things like a castle, or an underwater scene, or some place with monsters. Can Muffin catch the dustrats and save little baby Emily?

I loved the imagination and detail in the art. There are so many details to find and look at. The art is great and the story is pretty cute. The dustrats are playful and mischievous, but not scary in any way. This is a good picture book to read aloud.

First off, I love that these are dust rats and not dust bunnies. Sir Muffin watches over his human charge Emma every night while she sleeps. But at night when she dreams is when the dust rats come out to play. They play with Emma’s dreams and have daring adventures. They travel to the arctic, brave a dragon and explore space. But if Emma is left too long she starts to float away, and then it will take everyone to keep her grounded. This book was wonderful. The illustrations are bright and colorful, and how they blend one idea to another is fantastic.

Sir Muffin Muffinsson is a watchful cat who helps keep bad dreams at bay. While the story is on the bizarre side, the illustrations carried this book above and beyond. Looking through the illustrations was a lot of fun and I couldn't wait to see the next set.

What an adorable story and one that will be asked for time and time again. The illustrations are so detailed that a child will want to take this one to bed to "read" by themselves. Sir Muffin Muffinsson watches over the sleeping child and takes care of bad dreams, that is until he finds he must deal with seven little dustrats who are messing up the house. Of course, while the cat's away the dreams will play. Great book!

Dustrats! is an amusing tale that will endear itself to grownups as well as children. It is full of vivid and imaginative illustrations. The juxtaposition of normal and dream images is used well from page to page. The friendship forged between the cat and dust rats by the end of the book is a nice touch.
