Appropriate for the age range. The text includes great information and photographs of Otters. I enjoyed the questions that engage children to "research" and learn animal facts.

Otters, by Victoria Marcos is a part of the My Favorite Animal series.
Within forty pages, this book provides details about otters intermixed with photographs. According to the book summary, "Otters offers engaging facts and checks the reader's knowledge and comprehension throughout the book."
Otters is geared toward children, particularly ages four to eight.
Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

A fun easy reader book full of cute otter pictures. Would definitely recommend to parents of young children who want to learn more about otters...or who just want to look at cute otter pictures. Sometimes, we just need to look at pictures of otters.

This was great! Very informative book for 2nd graders up to maybe 4th. Lots of good into and I loved the Photos!

Well written, captivating and interesting for children, would recommend and use again!

I can imagine this book being a firm favourite with younger children and it is just the kind of book that I would have wanted when I was within the target age group. It has fun facts on each page and the images are lovely.

My Favorite Animal: Otters is filled with wonderful photographs of otters and short easily learned passages about their daily life. Once a fact is given, there will be a question asked to reinforce the material. This book would work well for a classroom or a parent and child reading time. There is a glossary in the back to review unfamiliar terms used in the book.

I have a kindle app not a kindle so I was unable to download it to read and review. I would suggest either a PDF or epub format to be added.
The cover and information looks very interesting.

This is a non-fiction book with some great photos and facts about otters. It is geared to young children (4 to 8) so they can learn about otters and it does just that. It is simple with just enough information that it will not overwhelm them. I think this is a great book and series for a school library. There are many young children who do not want to read fiction and this series would definitely give them something to read as they are developing their skills.
