"Levi was so damn good with words, he was always making me melt, my heart and my panties."

Yup, all it took was the 'rockstar' in the title and I was ready to try a new author. What can I say, I'm an addict. I just can't resist a sexy tattooed rocker, and Levi was no exception. And now I have a new author to stalk. I'm so glad I happened across Another Postcard, because it was amazing. I'll most definitely be back for more Stone Butterfly Rockstars.

Brooklyn is broken. She's got a past that she prefers to keep hidden and a responsibility that she takes seriously. Though she's in hot demand in the music world, she rarely travels far from home. It takes an offer that she can't refuse to get her to change her mind. Her favorite rock band, Stone Butterfly, is an opportunity that only comes along once in a lifetime. She's inspired to make some changes to make it work. She's stretching her wings and her comfort zone. Determined to live her dream and make music. What she doesn't expect is to feel like part of their family, like she belongs. That makes it even harder to hold on to her secrets. Making her want more. Making her want him...

Levi is the lead singer. The sexy vocalist that slays the crowd and has fans lined up to make all his fantasies come true. While he's enjoyed the benefits of his fame, he's never been tempted beyond immediate gratification. He's never wanted more. Until her...

When the band finds themselves in need of a replacement backup singer, they procrastinate. They wait till the last minute and are forced to hold auditions. Levi considers this punishment of the worse kind. It isn't until he's almost given up hope of finding someone that she shows up and rocks his world. He's used to women falling at his feet. He's never had to pursue one. Until her... He's determined to win her over and keeps asking her out to no avail. She's just as determined to keep him in the friend zone.

Brooklyn doesn't let on that Levi is getting to her. She doesn't want to risk her newfound family with Stone Butterfly by attempting a relationship with one of the members. But that doesn't mean she didn't melt every time he asked her out. How long will she be able to hide her feelings? The more time they spend together, the harder it gets. Yes, pun intended. (wink-wink)

I really enjoyed this first book in a new series that I fully intend to continue. I'm totally drawn in and invested. I've fallen in love with all the band members and I can't wait to spend more time with them. The line forms here...

Would love to read something by this author again! The story was well thought out and the characters were very likable!

This is one of the best rock star romances that I have read in a very long time! It was so good I really didn't want it to end. I love how much the group stands together. Stone Butterfly isn't the typical rock band. Levi and Brooklynn both make mistakes, but the are so goo together. I can't wait until the next book!

When coming across this book on Netgalley I was immediately intrigued. I’m a sucker for romance and rockstar romance in particular is an element I always enjoy immensely. So I didn’t hesitate a second when requesting this book. The publisher was so kind to approve the book and sent it to me and I’m very thankful. I’m soooo happy this book held up to it’s expectations and didn’t disappoint me. Let me tell you more about this incredible rockstar romance by Elle Christensen..

STORY-LINE.
Brooklynn is one of the most sought after back up singers in the industry. When Stone Butterfly is looking for a new one she can’t pass up the opportunity to try out. Right from the start the band is enamored with Brooklynn’s singing capability and she’s over the moon happy they want her to be a part of their band for the time being. She knows that it is a bad idea to get involved with a band mate even if this is a temporary gig, but the immediate attraction between her and Levi, the lead singer, is extremely intense and hard to ignore. But she’s determined to not give in when he keeps asking her out on a date. But the more she pushes him away, the more she finds herself drawn to him and keeping him at a distance becomes nearly impossible. Can the two of them find a way to a lasting relationship or will all of Brooklynn’s fears push her to run away? A story about finding an unexpected love that’s so real it shakes you to the bone, dealing with trauma’s from the past which are coming back to haunt in the present and demand for the characters to grow
-----
One of the reasons I decided to work with Stone Butterfly
(beyond my school-girl crush on every band member. That’s right, even Sasha)
was because of the way Sheryl talked about them.
They weren’t just a band, a bunch of people making music – they were a family.
It was something I craved. A normalcy I’d never really known but always wanted to experience.

CHARACTERS.
Damn, did Elle write some amazing characters in this book. Levi, the lead singer of Stone Butterfly will melt your heart and set it on fire.. He’s down to earth which I really loved given the fact he’s one of the most well known and most successful rockstar singers around the world. You normally would expect to find a spoiled brat who expects people to kiss his feet, And Levi’s anything but that.. He and his team members of Stone butterfly form the most amazing friendship and I lovedddd reading about them. I love male leads who are not necessarily bad boys and are ‘down to earth’, still have an amazing bond with their family and are just heart warming and lovable. And Levi is definitely one of those characters. You fall for him, hard.. And there’s also this fact that he’s a great singer – a lead singer at that – of a rock band with a bossy and dirty mouth; Yep, I could totally picture this character in my mind, very vividly hehe. So you should definitely make room on your book boyfriend list for Levi because that man……whew….that man is definitely a delicious addition. He is so yummy!

I really liked Brooklynn right from the start. She’s made something of herself, despite her traumatic past and the fact she had to take care of her sister so much. She’s a great singer/songwriter and knows it and I really like that she owns that recognition. But underneath that bravado she’s a traumatized person as well because of the things that happened with her parents in the past and she keeps walking around with these demons. She buried them deep, but falling for Levi and automatically opening up more to him, makes the demons resurface and I liked seeing this side of Brooklynn as well; a bit scared, doubting and hurting inside. I loved how Elle wrote this character.. the way she wrote Brooklynn’s feelings and expressions and her development throughout the book were so awesome to read thanks to the powerful writing. Brooklynn experiences an amazing growth in this book, despite having some major set backs every now and then. She’s so strong and in need of a man like Levi at the same time and she just deserves this chance for a beautiful romance.
-----
“If I’d known bringing you coffee in the morning would gain your love,
I’d have been waiting on your front porch every day.”
Levi’s voice was pitched low and he nuzzled the back of my neck.
Butterflies fluttered in my tummy and I sprayed a mental pesticide to kill them all off.
I’m not usually a vicious person,
but those stupid winged creatures loved to wreak havoc whenever Levi was near.
Little traitors.
-----
Aside from Brooklynn and Levi we get to meet Brooklynn’s sister for example, who was a great addition to the story. And then there are the other Stone Butterfly members. Each one completely different from the other one but I loved them All, really. This rock band stole my heart. I love their amazing friendship, the way they live as being rock stars and all.. How they face everything together and come out stronger, how they support one another and give each other shit as well when the need arises. You definitely need to meet the Stone Butterfly group ASAP!

ROMANCE.
The romantic, swoony and sexy scenes between Levi and Brooklynn made me so incredibly happy. Because damn! Who hasn’t had a crush on some hot actor/musician/athlete one time or another in their life? And if said crush did/said the things that Levi did/said to Brooklynn … OMG. So yeah, I was a melting puddle of swoony fangirl a lot of the times while reading this book, lol.

Even though you might think it’s insta-love when you start reading, it really isn’t. Sure, the main characters have an insaneeee attraction towards one another right from the start but I’ve experienced such a thing myself in the past as well, so I definitely didn’t see it as insta-love but just as a intense first reaction to someone. It doesn’t mean you instantly love someone, but you can sure as hell have such an insane attraction from the first moment you set eyes on someone and that’s what’s happening with Levi and Brooklynn and I liked it, prr.

I really think the whole singing and writing elements in their story helps a lot with their romance development because listening to someone sing, especially in a closed room, can be really intimate and touching and I thought it was really beautifully written in this story. You definitely feel the romance growing when Levi and Brooklynn spent more time together in the studio and started writing and singing duets together. To me, the build up of this romance was really beautiful and in a nice pace. They start with having this insane attraction to one another but Brooklynn decides to keep Levi at a distance because she’s afraid of the consequences if things should go bad between them. But while spending more and more time together with Levi she falls for him and he falls for her, so in a regular pace their romance develops into something much more intense, deep, steady and something worth exploring.
-----
I gawked at her. I knew Brooklynn’s reputation, and I’d seen for myself over the last couple of weeks how gifted she was. But, “sanity” was an unbelievably difficult song. The vocal range needed, the quickly changing melodies and tempos, the tight harmonies, etc., meant there weren’t many people who could sing this song and do it justice. It had taken Sheryl months to learn her part and sing all three refrains as well as the ending without making any major mistakes. Brooklynn had looked at it for a hot second and jumped right in, singing it like she’d known the song all of her life. “Your genius would be alarming if it wasn’t so damn consistent,” I declared with a chuckle. She laughed and spun on her stool, her legs flying out in front of her. When she was facing me again, she grinned. “Yeah, I’m kind of a big deal.” Then she winked and blew me a kiss, Marilyn Monroe style. Just like that, I was hard as a fucking rock, which was saying something since I’d already been sporting an erection from singing “sanity” with her. “You’re not helping your cause, baby,” I growled. “One of these days, you are going to give in and let me sweep you off your fucking feet.”

CONCLUSION.
I loved this book so much! This was my first Elle Christensen book and I’ve completely fallen for her writing and these phenomenal characters. Levi, Brooklynn and the rest of the characters are so great. You really can’t put the book down until you find out what happens with them. The mixture of their romance and the little bit of intrigue really gave this rock n roll romance a unique spin. Elle Christensen has a great way of writing. No matter who’s point of view you’re reading, you truly lose yourself into this story and feel as if you are right there with the characters. This book is touching, emotional and funny. If you haven’t read anything by Elle Christensen yet, you need to pick this book up asap. I guarantee you won’t regret it!! This book brought a smile to my face the whole time reading it, it melted my heart into a puddle of goo and made me fall in love with the characters, the story and the writing. It left me craving for more.

If you like romance stories and especially romance stories with music elements/rock stars, this is THE book you need to buy. I got this book from the publisher through NetGalley but I also bought the physical copy of the book, which is currently on it’s way here and I already can’t wait to re-read it soon!

This is the first book I've read from this author and it was a great rockband read. I enjoyed quite a few laughs while reading this book, especially at Sasha's antics. I honestly enjoyed all of the members of Stone Butterfly. Levi and Brooklynn, the main singers of the group were such a great sweet couple and Brooklynn was such a great sister for having screwed up parents. This book had a few twists in it that I didn't expect and I was really happy that in the end she got what she deserved. I look forward to reading more books from this author. I think Sasha and Cooper have a story to tell.

This is a new author for me. I have never heard of her until some my Goodread friends had wrote a review on this book. So naturally I had to read this book. I love it from the beginning. I can figure out the who dun it, but it twisted on me, which is a nice surprise. Brooklynn is a great character and I wouldn't have done and thing different about her. Lexi was the alpha lead singer without the ego that you read about in other Rock n Roll romances. I like there wasn't any other the top drama with him.

Fun band love story with great secondary characters. I liked that the band was like a family and drugs/booze were not a main activity with them. Levi at times was too alpha and controlling for me. His love for her was evident in his actions but as the book said he was showing his inner "caveman" at times. The girls in the band were not catty but seemed to be good friends. Hopefully we will see more of that in the books to come. I do wish the playlist was at the beginning of the book not the end. I could have played it while reading, better yet at the beginning of each chapter the song went with would be great. Looking forward to reading more about Stone Butterfly. I received a free copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not sure how to start this review. I didn't want this story to end but I'm happy with how it did. Elle Christensen writes a story about sexy rock stars, adoring fans, mystery, and love.

Levi is not your typical lead singer. yes, he's handsome, cocky, and talented but he's not one to take advantage of the groupies. His sole focus is music and the band, that is until Brooklyn walks in the room.

Brooklyn has been a huge fan and follower of Stone Butterfly and when she's asked to join them for a few months on tour she knows her answer will be yes. When she meets this family of band members she can't believe the chemistry she feels with their lead singer Levi.

There are so many unexpected twists and turns in Another Postcard and I loved them all. I'm excited to read more about these rockers.

It was sweet, but a little too over the top. It was a little corny for my taste.

5 Melodic Stars!!!

This book was utter perfection!!! Levi and Brooklyn have a chemistry that just cannot be denied. Combine that with their voices, hers so beautiful it's awe inspiring and his with that rocker vibe and these two are unstoppable....so they'd like to think!

When Brooklyn is given the chance to go on tour with Stone Butterfly, she moves out of the proverbial dark to finally live her dream. She wasn't counting on falling for the lead singer and he definitely didn't see her on his romantic radar. When they succumb to their passion, it's SCORCHING!!!! However, with this heat also comes a mystery that could derail their lives before they can explore having a forever together.

This mystery just added to my enjoyment of this incredible book because it kept me guessing and I was so enthralled with the story that I actually felt like I was on tour with the band. Levi is one determined man to get and keep Brooklyn no matter what...how swoony is that?

It's also very clear to me that Ms. Christensen has an extensive background in music because her details were spot on which I truly appreciate in a book that's dealing with the music world. If it's not done correctly, the whole story just doesn't flow. Well folks, this one was done so correctly that it deserves a Grammy!!

Make sure to pick this one up because it's a MUST READ book by Ms. Christensen!!!!

3* read.
This is my first read by this author and a different read to the normal rockstar romances and very unique in its own way. A lot sweeter then all the other rockstar books I've read but I did enjoy that side as like I said it made it more unique.
Levi and Brooklynn were both great characters in their own right although Brooklynn for the first half of the book really annoyed me but in the second half she did pick up a bit more. Levi was very sweet, maybe too sweet for me but he was still a great strong character who I did really like.
This was a book I enjoyed and liked I just didn't love it. It was well wrote and I can see a lot of people really loving it as the other 5 star reviews show but for me it was just ok.

Since Sheryl is one of the backup singers for Stone Butterfly announced she was pregnant they band knew they would have to replace her eventually. The more singers a band has the fuller the sound. They had six voices even though they weren’t needed all the time they were permanent members of the band. Stone Butterfly was a multi platinum Grammy winning rock band. Sasha was keyboardist, Matteo/Teo, Simon, and Levi. Noah became the manager Kristi and now Brooklynn to replace Sheryl even if only temporarily. Brooklyn was one of the most sought after singers in the industry. Levi had also heard Brooklyn was a classically trained pianist. Brooklyn was introduced to Levi last he was the lead singer, he got up to shake Brooklyn’s hand and when their skin touched felt a spark between them. Levi’s aquamarine eyes darkened with heat and hunger. There was intense chemistry between them. Brooklyn wanted to work with them because of the way Sheryl talked about the band they were a family. Something Brooklyn craved , a normalcy she had never really known but always wanted to experience. She did have that growing up her parents weren’t fit enough to take care of themselves much less a kid. When Brooklyn was seventeen her mother died and her father went to prison. Brooklyn’s thirteen year old sister Baylee and her went into the foster care system. They were in the same time but Baylee was in a special home as when Baylee hit her preteens her mental growth slowed down and her maturity level never caught up to her age. Baylee would always need a certain level of care. Then one day Brooklyn got a call from the manager of a rising young pop star and wanted Brooklyn to back her up on the pop star’s next album. With recommendations from the singer Brooklyn’s career took off. Levi felt Brooklyn was a walking wet dream and he wanted her. Levi had never been so attracted to a woman before. Brooklyn had a reputation of being able to pick up just about anything quickly with flare and precision. She had perfect pitch and had a talent of spitting back whatever she heard with total accuracy. But she also made everything hers which is a true talent. Levi didn’t bring women to stay with him ever. It was his sanctuary, where he did all his writing. Then Levi realized there was a deeper connection than just lust between Brooklyn and himself. He had a desire to know Brooklyn, to simply be with her. Music was the most important thing to Levi and girls weren’t willing to settle for that. He had tried a relationship at the beginning of his career and it had a disastrous ending.
I have a new favorite romance book and this story is it. It was excellent I didn’t want to put it down and I am on vacation in Greece not easy. But I took every extra moment I was reading I loved the plot. I loved the way the band was like a family and they really cared about each other as a family. I felt so bad when Brooklyn was so hurt by Baylee. This story is an all around good read. It talks of writing songs and all it takes into being a good close band. I was rooting for Levi and Brooklyn and loved how Levi was with Baylee right through the end. And how Levi took care of all the financials y=that were required for Baylee’s care even if Brooklyn wasn’t with Levi right then. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend.

A great book and Elle never disappoints! I love her style of writing because I like fast paced stories. If you like books with a good story, lots of heat and feelings then go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I love a good rocker book but for me this one was on a completely different level. I was hooked after the first few pages and couldn't put it down. I loved every minute I spent reading this amazing book. The characters were so perfect for one another and the secondary characters really brought the story to another level. Elle is brilliant to write a rocker love story with a crazy twist. I never thought it would be her and it blew my mind. I could only picture her saying you want crazy I'll show you crazy. Notice how I use her instead of her actual name yeah you need to read this one to figure out who she is and what she did. Trust me the twist will keep you on your toes. I love Elle's writing style she is all about the good stuff no added fluff. It really shows talent when an author has the ability to keep you entertained from start to finish and not able to put the book down. I can't wait to read what Elle writes next.

**3.5 stars**

I really have to be honest about this one - I had a really hard time getting through the first half of it. I kept starting and stopping and then forcing myself to go back and give it another try... I wanted to love it! It had all the elements that usually make a great read for me but somehow this just didn't hit the 5 star mark for me.

I found the first 50% of the book to drag - it was kind of repetitive. Brooklynn pushing Levi away over and over again. I totally understood why but it wasn't very interesting to me. However the second half of the book finally got into the meat of their relationship and it got much better!! (So if you have purchased the book and are wondering - persevere and push through!)

Loved Levi's character - he was a player before Brooklynn but after he met her he was not going to be pushed away - he persisted and it paid off. Bonus that he didn't screw anything that moved in the meantime! (Safe read, ladies!)

Overall a good read in the end and I am intrigued to see some of the other characters of Stone Butterfly get their stories.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

ANOTHER POSTCARD

📚⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💕📚

Unexpected flames 🔥

Are you willing to give up what you think you know to believe in someone else. Can what you think be the opposite of reality? Can one person make you whole? Reading this book has the answers and some sexy, gorgeous Rock Stars.

When Brooklyn is given the chance to go on tour with Stone Butterfly, she moves out of the proverbial dark to finally live her dream. She wasn't counting on falling for the lead singer Levi Matthews's and he definitely didn't see her on his romantic radar. When they succumb to their passion, it's SCORCHING!!!! However, with this heat also comes a mystery that could derail their lives before they can explore having forever. I am a total sucker for a rock star book. Another Postcard was no exception. Elle Christensen sucked me into Stone Butterfly’s world and I didn’t want to leave.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Let me start by saying I think I just read a book that had everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review.

I hate to see that I'm in the minority here, but this wasn't a 5-star read for me unfortunately. Not that it wasn't written well because it was...I had to push myself to get through it after about the 50% mark and that's unusual for me. It was the typical rock band novel but if you're looking for an angsty read, I don't think you'll find it here. I pretty much figured out what was happening so there were no real surprises for me. I'm sorry to say it just wasn't what I had hoped it would be.

I am constantly amazed by Elle Christensens versatility as a writer. Within the romance realm she genre hops from fantasy to suspense, from rockstars to sexy teacher student flings. Each one is different and yet her writing is spot on each time. That being said I believe she went above and beyond with this book. Her knowledge of the musical world blew me away. She took the time and put in the effort to make this book 100% accurate from cover to cover.

The tumultuous lives of rockstars were never better told than in this book. You get such a good feel for who they are, what they experience, and how they feel about not only their music but also preforming for their fans. It's like you're inside their heads, feeding off their energy, and coming out of the book with a better appreciation of the musical process.

Levi and Brooklyn's story gives you a touch of everything. Humor, suspense, steamy sex, exhilarating musical highs, and twists and turns that will leave your head spinning. Their story wasn't an easy one but there was beauty in every minute of it.

I went into this book blind with no expectations and no idea what I would be getting. As always Elle gave me a book that I devoured. A book I couldn't put down. A book I'm still raving about a month after reading it. This is by far her best work to date. You can tell she poured her heart and soul into this book and it made for one hell of a read.
