Zoe thinks Dex is a womanizer when that’s far from the truth. After raising his brother after his parents died, Dex is ready to have some carefree time. However, an unexpected baby and a runaway brother change those plans. Zoe begins to learn Dex’s true character while helping out with the baby. Throughout the angst Zoe and Dex realize they are meant for each other. Sweet romance.

This was a sweet story about a woman, a man and a baby. Zoe was a florist and owned her own flower shop. Sex was one of her frequent customers, a Casanova in Zoe's eyes. He was sending a new arrangement at least weekly to a different woman. He was very handsome, but she didn't want to get mixed up with him because she saw him as a player.

Dex was a successful lawyer and had raised his younger brother, Ethan, from the time he was twelve, when their parents died. Ethan was now nineteen and his ex-girlfriend had just shown up on their doorstep with a baby she said was Ethan's and said she was tired of being the baby's mother and now it was Ethan's turn to raise her. Ethan couldn't seem to handle the responsibility of being a father, so he left in the middle of night with a note saying he needed some time to think and be alone. Unfortunately, that left Dex holding the bag, or baby, in this case. Phoebe was adorable but he had no experience of dealing with an infant, especially all by himself. He needed some help so he approached Zoe about helping him take care of Phoebe during the day.

Zoe and Dex began to develop feelings for one another but Dex had a hard time trusting that Zoe would want to be there for him so he kept pushing her away.

While I enjoyed this book, for the most part, it was frustrating at times with Dex always pushing Zoe away and Zoe constantly referring to herself as the pickle jar opener. It was like the story resolved too quickly. There was a little bit of sex, nothing that was too descriptive and a small amount of foul language.

I was give given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A great romance. I was caught up in the plot after a few pages and couldn't put the book down. Enjoyed the author's writing.

That's a one-stop wedding shop if I've ever heard of one.

Zoe owns the store, though, right?

Is she a slutty serial dater, though?

Haha! Yeah, she better not kiss her like Brad would!

I can't imagine not knowing my siblings very well.

Her ex is marrying someone else after two months? Um...

Snort. I guess if her teacher is eating sweets, she can too.

Whiskey? And no one noticed?

Creamed chipped beef and California cheesesteak are definitely foods I've never heard of.

Well, that's one way to prove you haven't been dating anyone. Shock-and-awe, anyone?

Aww, he reads romance novels on the sly.

What, she thought that now that she'd been proven wrong, he suddenly would have no responsibilities?

Wait, this witch is poor Delly's aunt, not her mother? Nope, there will be no giving a precious baby over to her. I can see why Delly gave Ethan the baby, but she should have stayed. They could have all lived with Dex.

I know flowers have meanings, but I can never remember them. Good for him, because that was very romantic groveling.
