I really disliked this book and the way the entire plot unfolded. It was not done very well. It jumps all over the place. It does not transition from scene to scene smoothly. The cliff hanger ending without really wrapping up this romance was just bad. One of the biggest complaints we here in the book business is the dreaded cliffhanger forcing you to find out what happens in another book that could have been made into one book. This is a romance novel, no HEA in the end, just lots of questions and the hero never told the heroine the truth. Make it a two parter and then start the second couple in the third book but give them a complete ending with a cliffhanger. The concept of the book was great, but the execution poor. The descriptions were too extensive in some places some editing would have made it much better.

Edge of Yesterday by Tarah Scott and Sue-Ellen Welfonder is a magical Time Travel and more. Book 1 in the new and thrilling "Edge" series. Set against the back drop of Scotland’s Highland Heatheredge, where magic and time are relevant.
Men are disappearing from a small village, with no bodies, or signs of violence, how can foul play be involved?

This is Cailean Ross, a world champion swordsman and Julianna Mackay, who flees a man she fears is an evil wizard's tale.

The plot flows seamlessly. The characters are engaging, captivating, and well matched. The story is fast paced and masterfully written.
These authors are two of my favorite authors. They pull readers into their stories and holds captivated. I couldn’t put "Edge of Yesterday" down, it was so thrilling.

In, "Edge of Yesterday", readers will find suspense, mystery, intrigue, danger, a wicked wizard, a six hundred year old Scottish curse, and a romance that crosses time, itself. Everything a Romance and Time Travel fan could possibly wish in a great story. Plus a set on the edge of your seat plot! What a tangle of excitement!
WOW! I can't wait to read the next installment. There story has somewhat of a cliffhanger, leading readers into Book 2, but this book has a satisfying ending. A must read by Tarah Scott and Sue-Ellen Welfonder! Great job, ladies! I highly recommend reading "Edge of Yesterday", you will not go wrong!
I received a complimentary copy.
