OMG what a fantastic book.. I didn't know what to expect when i started reading The Tempest but i am glad that i did. It was sexy, sensual, erotic and fun. I loved the way it kept me on my toes wanting what was to come next. This book was written perfectly. Felicity and Lenic were complex but brilliantly written characters.. I can't wait to read what else this author has for us.

When I received an ARC from NetGalley for the Vlogger, it was called The Tempest and had a different cover. I have to say I like that title better than The Vlogger, but anyway, whatever title and cover this story has, I like it either way. Felicity is a vlogger who's determined to hook up The Tempest, a hot boxer and an ex RM (Royal Marine), but when she offers her number to him in the autograph line, he very deliberately crumples it up and throws it in the trash. Since Felicity is a cheeky, b****y woman, she goes off on him and implies he's gay in retaliation. Yep, she's not very mature, or at least, not in the beginning of The Vlogger. This sets the tone for most of the rest of their relationship. Because, yes, they do end up in a relationship after Lenic (that's The Tempest's real name) discovers Felicity and Delphine, her best friend, skinny dipping on his property one night and he has to rescue them.

Of course other stuff happens along the way. There's lots of laughs, but there's lots of heavy emotions too, and so much crackling electricity between the two. Lenic is a tortured, hard on the outside, but ooey, gooey on the inside kind of guy who has rage and anger and so much sadness in his heart that he can't see his way through it. Felicity is the lighter part of their duo, but she too, has depth. She didn't appear to have much in the beginning, and I had a hard time liking her for most of The Vlogger, but she ended up being an interesting person. I like how much she loved Lenic and got through to him when no one else could. But Lenic was the real star for me. I totally fell in love with him and his sweet but scary on the outside soul.

The Vlogger is sexy and funny with emotional depth. Dive into it if you want something with substance and heart.

🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2 Delicious Filthy Raw Stars.
Oh My, What a delicious ride this was.
filled with smutty innuendo, raw filth and sweet romance
Sigh!
Who says romance and filth can't mix.
Why I'm fanning myself here, as I'm likely to burn up from the sheer, dirty, hot, heat factor that The Tempest produced.
Phew!!!!
Calm down girl, get that pulse under control.
Well, what can I say The tempest completely knocked me six, so did not see that coming.
here I was expecting a cutesy girl meets macho boxer GRRR!
ME MAN YOU WOMAN!!!!
neanderthal Fighter drags cutesy girl (by the hair of course) to his man cave to have his wicked way.
and what I got here was so much more, totally loved this book so much.
So the story is about The Tempest/Lenic Reevus, a heavyweight boxing champion and Felicity St James. a successful vlogger on Youcube along with her best friend Delphine.
The Tempest showed the development of Flick and Lenic's relationship and the hilarious ride along the way.
What made this for me was the totally unexpected pure emotional angle to this story and the balance between the sentimental and the pure raw animal lust was so spot on.
Got to love a bit of English humour and sarcastic innuendo and Brit Constantine certainly delivered this fantastically well.
So I'm going to keep this short and sweet for you if you want to spontaneously combust on the spot then pick this story up and I guarantee you you're going to need a big hose to cool you down after.
Myself I'm still in recovery, and I would gladly experience it all over again.
Oh and I also absolutely loved the epilogues in this, so great to catch up years later and say hello to Felicity and Lenic again.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a free readers copy of The Tempest By Brit Constantine This is my own personal opinion

The Tempest by Brit Constantine was a very enjoyable read!
This story is filled with light humor and a romance that makes you giddy with glee. Lenic is your typical tall, dark, and handsome man but with a past that he would rather stay behind closed doors. Felicity was just as damaged as him, but she faces her demons head on! Overall a hot, steamy, love story that I will never forget.

I loved this book! I LOL'd quite a few times and loved how much I was able to connect with the characters. Not only did we have humor and romance but we had a super hot male lead who was just the right amount of everything you could ask for in a male lead character. I also loved that in no way was this story predictable and I loved the writing style. I will definitely be reading more of Brit's work!

I couldn't connect with the heroine whatsoever. I struggled through it and had to stop. I might pick it up again. I'm a mood reader so I'll try again and see how that goes l!

I liked this book. It was a good romance story to read. From reading the synopsis, the story wasn't what I expected it to be like however what I did get was enjoyable. I thought the beginning wasn't as easy to read (didn't flow well enough) to what I would have liked but as the book went on, it got better. I hope that other characters featured in this story get their own book in the future.

Unfortunately the book was not for me, no review was publicly posted on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads or Twitter etc, so no ratings were affected in relation to it.

The tempest is amazing great funny book. I was so satisfy with the story which was funny hot and story with great characters. It was written with only POV from Felicity but her thinking and acting had me so laughing that I did not miss Lenics. I also liked that it was written understandable that pages had flown by and I was not boring. Both Lenic and Felicity are great developed both with their flaws that make them human and great persons. Great and highly recommended book.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I absolutely adored this book from beginning to end. Felicity and Lenic are some of the best characters that I've read lately. Lenic is at the top of my list for all time favorite book boyfriends. Who could resist a chivalrous alpha male with a dirty mouth? Not me.

This story was satisfying from beginning to end. The pace was perfect. I think this is the first book I've ever read where the couple's foundation for their relationship is so perfectly established. This is no "love at first sight" type of love story; it's so relatable. Felicity and Lenic truly get to know each other slowly. There is obvious chemistry from the first time they meet and that chemistry is slowly built upon as the story progresses. The sexual tension between them is delicious and unbearable at times. They go through highs and lows together as a couple and deal with their painful pasts as they get to know each other. I just loved how they ended up together and how we also got a glimpse of their future. This is such a perfect happily ever after and then some!! Easily one of the best books I've read this year. Looking forward to more by Brit Constantine!!

The Tempest was a great read! It had comic relief to break up the seriousness of some of it. It was a true page turner because I had to know what was going to happen.

This is my first book by Brit Constantine, but I will definitely look for more

I was given this ARC by NetGalley for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It has a little bit of everything: romance, comedy, secrecy, a bit of crazy and some hot steamy scenes with a HEA.

When Felicity first met Lenic all she wanted to do was just have hot, angry take charge sex with him. But as she got to know Lenic she realized that there was so much more to him than the angry arsehole that he pretended to be for everyone. As their relationship continues to develop the are faced with each other's past but as any true love match they are able to overcome it. I just think that they are meant to be together and I specially love how Felicity describes their love and their whole relationship "We met. We fought. We smiled. We laughed. We shared. And then, there we were … in love. Ready to go. And so, we went." A perfect description of their love and how they became a We. A must read!

The Temptest was so steamy!! Lenic had me swooning! I not sure how I would've reacted to being filmed and plastered all over but I did laugh, because he asked for most of it. Loved this book!

God am I glad I went into this with zero expectations. I always find they are the books I love the most ... I read nothing about it, no reviews zilch.
I loved this book so freaking hard.

This book is erotic as hell. That slow sensual forplay that has your toes curling in anticipation for what's to come. Seriously I was sat there thinking jeez this author knows her shit. The story was the perfect blend of humour sexyness and angst. The humour was so on point!! Being British I can tell you straight off she nailed the classic dry slightly twisted humour to a fucking T! The banter had me in tears I was chuckling so hard. The angst .... jeez it's was so subtly interwoven through the story that it sort of catches you off guard. The sore subjects are heavy but tastefully done so although you get a feel of what the characters are feeling it's also not drawn out to the point it's over done. The side characters all play fantastic parts in this story, they don't take over however I couldn't imagine the story without them init either.

Felicity is my favourite kind of heroine and honestly the best I've read this year!. She's feisty and fierce with absolutely no filter. She was crazy is in the best way with her mad antics a mischievous ways. She held all her cards close and under all that crazy was a hella lota damage. My heart hurt for all that she'd been through at such a young age and what made it worse is that she wasn't a bitch. She didn't do shitty things and use her past as an excuse. She didn't play the damaged card or look nor want attention. Honesty such a great character.

Lenic was the total opposite. He wore his damage like an amour cocooned in his anger and sadness. He was the typical alpha broody hero but with a twist. He wore his heart on his sleeve with felicity, she brought out the best in him in every way. I loved his playfulness and sweet side, how absolutely adorable he was with her. He treated her like a princess honestly he's a women's wet dream. He has serious issue though and that was definitely his breaking point. His issues affected him to the point it became unavoidable. But even then he didnt do what I expect(what most books do) he didn't fuck up!!!. He fixed the problem, admitted it and worked through it without throwing away the love of his life. He done it for her sighhhhhhhhh. #dreamman.
I also love that there was really no big split up before the HEA .. they spoke and sorted the issues like adults and it was the perfect ending!!!

My only little issue with the story it is that I would have loved to have heard what happened between Lenic and west .. I feel like it's left without any explanation and although it didn't affect the ending in my opinion it would have been the icing on the cake.

But otherwise I love this book and the author is definitely on my fav list. I can't wait to read what comes next.

I kindly received this ARC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Lenic, love the name, he is my new book boyfriend:) he was such a great mixture of possessive alpha male and soft hearted marshmallow, the way he treated Felicity just made me melt. This story is plenty steamy but it is at times hilarious aswell, there are some side splittingly funny scenes and Felicity has some great come backs, I loved that girl. This was a great read I finished in one sitting, the extra epilogues were fantastic I truly felt content with the ending and I loved the Lenic POV outtake at the end it was great.
