I Need You Tonight is one of those books that you go into thinking one thing and end up getting your mind blown because you were not expecting the emotion that this made you feel. Honestly, this had to have been the best book of the series because of that.

What I really liked is that the author chose gambling as an addiction for Mason….instead of drugs or alcohol. Which was refreshing because most of the books that I have read, it is drugs or alcohol that is mentioned. People tend to forget that gambling (along with sex) is also a bad addiction that costs people their lives and family. The author didn’t magically cure Mason of his addiction and I will talk about that later in the review.

I loved Mason. He was such a down to earth guy who would do anything for his friends. So when his friend called and asked if he could go and check on his sister, he didn’t even hesitate….he did. His friend had saved Mason’s life years before and Mason thought nothing of making the drive to where Nicole lived to check on her. I loved how Mason’s addiction wasn’t downplayed or magically cured by the end of the book. Actually, him relapsing after his father’s funeral (which I wanted smack all of his relatives except his uncle) was probably the most realistic thing I have read to date. I was impressed.

Nicole, I really liked too. She was a little surprised when Mason turned up at her house to check on her and even more surprised when she realized that she was attracted to him. She hated gambling with a passion because of her father. Her father had a bad gambling problem that ended with him committing suicide. She told Mason about it (which in turn made him not say anything to her about his problem). So she was a little surprised and a lot upset when it was revealed that he had a problem….after he relapsed. And I don’t blame her for taking off. I would have too.

The sex between Nicole and Mason was hot. I had to fan myself after each encounter. The fact that they had to be celibate because he was on the road and was technically her employer. But when they finally had sex after that….oh my.

I loved the ending and I loved the epilogue!!! I wish more series were ended like that. Everything was tied up and everyone was happy!!

How many stars will I give I Need You Tonight: 4

Why: Memorable storyline, relatable characters and a love story that will sweep you away.

Will I reread: Yes

Will I recommend to family and friends: Yes

Age range: Adult

Why: Sex and language. Also, triggers for gambling addiction

This is a rock star romance that had character and soul. This 4 star story kept me focused solely on it.

Mason is the drummer in the band Pushing Limits. He's on break for a few days and one of his friend who's overseas asked him to go check on his sister who's not answering her phone. Last time he saw her she was 15 years old, he was not prepared for what he saw. Nicole wants the man with the 8-5 job, no tattoos, a dog, cat and 2.4 kids. Mason doesn't fit that role. It doesn't stop her from falling in love with him. Mason has a problem that he didn't share with her and it might jeopardize their relationship.

It was a great story with characters that are flawed, hurt and broken. They made me feel so much. The story dragged a bit towards the middle, slow moving. It had a great storyline and it was well written. Nicely written epilogue that was just perfect.

Standalone told in a dual POV. This is book the third book in the series. It does have a great HEA.

I really enjoyed the story of Nicole and Mason. Their connection seemed genuine. Both were good people with difficult family issues that had shaped them as adults. Their love felt natural, not forced. The author did a nice job of spacing out the timing through the difficulties in the relationship so that the resolution was realistic and not rushed.

I have read all of the books in this series, but it is not necessary. Although readers can revisit characters from the previous books, this story is firmly focused on Mason and Nicole. This is a great read that I would highly recommend.

This is my first book from this author, and sadly, I didn't enjoy it at all. No depth to the story at all, characters were not interesting at all, very one dimensional, just nothing special. I did not read the first two books in this series, kinda glad I didn't.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Mason Dell is living the dream, as the drummer in one of the hottest up-and coming rock bands to hit the stage. But when he receives a call from his best friend, Zach McCormick, saying that Zach's baby sister Nicole is unreachable on her cell and has been so for a few days. Asking if Mason could stop by her place and make sure that she's O.K.? Mason is more than willing to drop everything and honor his friend's request.
What he can't know however, is that Zach's little sister, Nicole, is the woman who has just what it takes to make big changes in both Mason's life and his heart.

I Need You Tonight offers readers that perfect blend of topical relevance and hot, steamy, romance.
Both Nicole and Mason have pasts touched by gambling. His as an addict. Hers as the daughter of one. As such, both Mason's and Nicole's reluctance to share details of their lives with each other; before being so willing to readily share their hearts and bodies. Becomes more of an issue as the store and their relationship progresses.

When you add the stresses and temptations of life on the road, and the "no touching" clause in Nicole's contract. Coupled with the newness of the experience of life with the band for the "small town girl."
And...
This is a "rocker romance" that begs to be read.

While there are many lighter moments in this book. Authoress, Stina Lindenblatt's ability to weave reality into her tale, in a way that makes said realism natural and effortless. Superb!

Reviewer's Note: I Need You Tonight is the third book n a companion series. As such, it may be read as part of that series. Or as a stand alone.

This one; I Need You Tonight,

Is for me the first one to read from this serie.
I will be reading the other ones.
But for now,I have to say,it is not to bad,it is well written.
it is an easy, fun book.but I did not care much for Nicole or Mason.
the other people sound more fun and interresting.

Definitely not my favorite in this series but it was still a really great book, and I enjoyed reading it. Mason had a lot of demons and for a moment it seemed like his demons would win...but through all his extreme lows Nicole was always there for him even if she wasn't physically there she was still present.
Nicole had her moments in this book where you wanted to yell at her for her lack of fight where their relationship was concerned but at the same time you completely agreed with her.

Overall as I said not my favorite but I still thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

really liked it

This was a nice book with a fresh take on a popular theme. It provided exactly what I'm often looking for - an interesting and pleasant few hours of reading entertainment.. The characters were likable, and the story was compelling enough to make me finish it in a day. Nicole was a smart, together, normal girl who found herself in an unexpected situation, and Mason was a nice guy trying to ignore rather than deal with his issues.
Having enjoyed the first two books in this series, I thought the first part of this book started slowly. There is a fine line between including enough detail about the characters' lives to draw the reader into the story, and providing so much information that readers start trying to figure out why they need to know all this stuff, and it seemed to me this book veered toward the latter in the first chapters. But as the story advanced the pace seemed to pick up, and as a reader I found myself in that happy place where I forget I'm reading and feel I'm just watching the characters' lives play out.
I don't know much about the type of addiction on which this book is focused, and I will assume the author did her research in making it authentic in presenting the issues involved. I was surprised at the resolution, since it was anything but the easy or expected outcome. It is refreshing that an author can take the usual "ordinary girl falls for rockstar" plot and turn it into something, interesting, unexpected and fresh.
If I had to vote I'm not sure this would be my favorite book in this series, but I'll repeat: it provided several hours of well written and interesting entertainment, which is all I ask.

Mason is a member of the band Pushing Limits. They're on the verge of making it to the big leagues when he meets Beckie at a party that Beckie's friend had dragged her out to. There's an instant attraction but Beckie has sworn off of dating after a bad experience with an ex. But Mason is not one to give up so easily.
Beckie has her own business and is still in college, so even if they hook up it can't last long because the band will be going back on tour soon. That is until Beckie loses her scholarship for a school infraction and something happens to her business. So Mason without asking the rest of the band offers Beckie a job as their social media director. He doesn't want to leave her behind and be separated from her. There's only one catch. Once she becomes and employee of the band she and Mason can no longer have sex! After a few weeks of blue balls Beckie and Mason begin to sneak around to be together. What the band doesn't understand is that they are actually in love.
But when something goes wrong between Mason and Beckie she returns home brokenhearted and tries to resume her old life. Meanwhile Pushing Limits hit the bigtime and Beckie is replaced by someone new.
With the relationship on the rocks and the separation of Mason and Beckie do they even have a chance to rekindle their love?
A surprise that caught me totally off guard changes the course of Beckie's and Mason's lives.
This book is a standalone with a HEA.

I Need You Tonight is the third book in the Pushing Limits series and it is a very good addition. You do not have to read the previous books to be able to follow this one, however I do think it helps to know who some of the other characters are and their back stories.

Mason Dell is the drummer for the rock band Pushing Limits and he's known as much for his playboy ways as he is for his drumming abilities. It is no secret that he's not into committed relationships and much of that is due to the fact that he has been disowned by his own family following some struggles he had in the past. The last thing he wants is to make himself vulnerable to someone who could walk away and break his heart again.

Nicole McCormick is part owner of a flower shop a couple hours outside of LA and for as long as anyone can remember she's been a workaholic. While she'd love nothing more than to settle down with a good man, she has a specific list of qualities that man must have which have been formed by the fact she had a father that left a less than desirable impression on her.

When Nicole's brother can't get in touch with her, he calls on his old friend Mason to have him go check on her. When Mason arrives he finds Nicole is just fine, she only had a busted phone. Seeing that he can take a few days to just relax, he chooses to stay with Nicole and help her fix some things around her house. As the two begin to bond, they realize that their chemistry is off the charts, but Mason doesn't want a girlfriend and Nicole knows that this bad-boy musician is nothing like her "dream man".

When a fire damages the flower shop, Mason suggests that Nicole put her marketing degree to good use and come on the road to do social media for the band. Will Mason and Nicole be able to hide their attraction while on the road or will their chemistry end up winning in the end? And, will past demons in both of their lives derail this romance before it takes off?

This book was a great escape and was a fun read. I also liked it because we got updates and glimpses into what was going on with the other members of the band. Definitely a good addition to the series and I look forward to other works the authors brings us in the future!

I don't know what to say about this book. I was hoping it would be a little better. Although I liked Nicole and I loved Bernie the dog, I just couldn't wrap my head around Miles. He had his little pity trips even before he fell over the edge. His response instead of talking about things that should have been discussed was to fuck his way through it.
The book started off a little too slow, as even Mason pointed out at one point all they did was fix stuff around her house, watch the Die Hard movies, walk Bernie and screw around. That had me bored to tears. Mason was never up front with her about his past even though he knew hers, both from her and his best friend her brother. Zack saved his life when he tried to commit suicide because of his gambling addiction. He totally bottomed out. The guys in the band are super supportive and they're great with Nicole.
if I had any respect for Mason that got flushed right down the commode when she came back to the room when he was supposed to be sleeping his all nighter off, and he's still up drinking and pacing and she knows what that means. He was on her before she knew it, he pushed her on the bed and numb fucked her. That just ruined it for me. Not only was it abusive it bordered on nonconsensual.
That was the one thing that bothered me immensely about Nicole as well, Mason wasn't all that hot, and all she seemed interested in with him was hitting the sheets as well. Yeah yeah, I get attraction but these two didn't have the chemistry like the others.
Suffice to say, another lesson learned here. Yes, this is the least favorite book in the series.
Still love that dog though.

I was given an advanced copy of this book, I truly enjoyed the story of redemption that was told in this book. The characters are realistic and likable even while dealing with their vices such as gambling, and seeing Mason realize how much he needs Nicole and fighting for the life he believes that they can have is so much fun to read. This book has just enough angst mixed in with the hope to make it a very enjoyable read and I would recommend it to others! Don't miss out on a great story with a Hero and Heroine that you can relate to and a happy ending!

This book was fun, sexy and hard to put down. Mason is the typical band boy...but underneath that persona is a person who just wants to be loved and lead a more quiet life, one that has more meaning. Enter Nicole; she is tired of dating, especially when all the dates she goes on ends up not being anything more than a headache. Sparks fly when these two re-connect in the best way possible. I was smiling throughout the entire book.

This is the third in a series that are quick and forgettable. The stories are sweet and sexy, but they won't stay with you for long afterwards. A good summer read when you need to escape from your kids at the park.

Stina Lindenblatt has offered us a third book in her "Pushing Limits" series called "I Need You Tonight". This book gives the reader a wonderful HEA ending, but has its sometimes very sad moments.
For Mason Dell the depths of an addiction almost cost him his life if not for an old school friend's timely aid. So when his friend asks for a favor that he check on his kid sister for him, Mason was more than happy to do it even if it meant driving almost 3 hours from L.A. To his surprise his friend's kid sister is now a beautiful woman. He finds himself sexually drawn to her moments after she opens her door. Now he wants to spends as much time as he can with her in her quaint little town before leaving on tour with his group.
Nicole McCormick, who is part owner in a floral boutique, is so busy working on her business that she cannot even find time to get her phone fixed. She has decided she is done dating since she cannot find a guy to match her list for her Perfect Guy and who is nothing like the father who broke up her family. So when Mason shows up she finds she is sexually drawn to the tattooed, rough around the edges guy even if he is not her Perfect Guy.
When events cause Mason's past to repeat in their present, they may find their love may not be enough to keep them together.
You will want to keep reading to the end of this heartfelt story, possibly in one sitting, as you get caught up with the lives of the Pushing Limits "family".

I need you tonight is another book in the Punish limits series. I must say I liked this one the least. It was ok story, both Mason and Nicole are great develop character. The story has it character and the reason they are not meant to be together. But I missed something; the story was predictable Mason not so much likable like were the previous H in books. Nicole was great and caring and likable funny and all. But something special had felt missing for me. In the end I did get closure from all members of Pushing limit. Ok story but not memorable.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
