I am a huge fan of everything LRJ writes. This is such a thrilling series, and the ending has me in a choke hold.

I'm a sucker for anything that Lisa Renee Jones writes and Bad Deeds, book three in the series was even better than the previous two! Shane and Emily are so good together!

Amazing and thrilling ride with a cliffhanger that leaves you desperately wanting to know what happens. Sexy and hot. Can't wait for the next in the series. I want to read this one all over again.

Lisa Renee Jones' books just always continue to get better and better. I really hate cliff hangers but this one really keeps you holding on and leaves you wanting more!

Shane and Emily are back and their romance continues to develop despite everything going on around them. We see more of their character development, despite not much action going on. This read, read like a preparation for something big, and then BAM the mother load of cliffhangers happens to leave you hanging for the next book.
So bring on book 4!

Sizzling suspense…

This was the third book in the series and I am hopelessly addicted! Shane and Emily hit their stride in this instalment as their relationship was more solid than ever. A good thing as the forces around them were only getting more sinister and deadly…

Enemies were abundant but not all of them were far away. Shane’s family was unbelievably driven to succeed. Money, power. It was hard to say which one held the upper hand as they each were working their own unique angle. Shane knew things were not going to end well if he didn’t pull off the impossible but it was hard to say who was working with them, or against them. If things weren’t already serious enough, the stakes were only getting higher. And deadlier.

All I can say is hold onto your heart as that cliffhanger had me dangling off a steep, steep cliff! Grab this book but don’t forget to read the two stories before it or you will be hopelessly lost – and missing out on all the glorious steamy and tension-filled buildup…

I only have two words for this series…. MAD LOVE!!! Lisa Renee Jones has a way of writing a story that draws you in and then throws you off with its twists and turns. This is the perfect way to describe to you my thoughts about the entire Dirty Money series!!

I feel like if I told you anything about this book, it would be NOTHING because you need to experience it yourself. Lisa Renee Jones will take your heart on a journey with suspense and have you cheering Shame and Emily on. Trust me on this one.

Oh, and did I mention that Lisa Renee Jones is the master of chiffies?!?! If you don’t like Cliffhangers, then don’t read her books. But I don’t know of anyone who wouldn’t… You would be truly missing out!

This book picks directly up after the ending of part three. I liked the Twists in the plot which made the action of the exciting. There were twists in the family also, surprising and unexpected.

I liked the book and after the cliffhanger I´m curious about the last part of the series.

Thank you.

This series started out interesting and the plot twists were somewhat surprising. The more that I got into the books, the less interested I became in it.

I am unable to review the rest of this series as I don't have Bad Deeds on my Kindle. I'm not quite sure what happened as I still have End Game.

I won't be leaving a review on Goodreads or Amazon for the End Game. Can't leave a fair review on a series when an essential part of the trilogy is missing, knowing the final part of the series can't stand alone. Thank you for the opportunity.

My rating doesn't reflect on the book. Netgalley makes you select one.

Lisa Renee Jones always writes engaging stories. This book was no exception. She is on my auto buy list, and I would recommend this series to a friend.

BAD DEEDS is the third book in the new Dirty Money series. They must be read in order.

I’m going to start off by saying she did it again! Lisa Renee Jones sucks me in every time. She holds me captive. I can’t stop reading until I reach the end and when I do, I’m pushing for more pages, I’m screaming, “No!” and I’m gasping for the next installment in this series.

I love Emily. She makes Shane stronger and smarter. She guides and he listens to her… better than most men IMHO. Still, Shane frustrated me. He knew that she was smart and gave good advice, so why does he keep trying to send her out of the room while he conducts business? I know he’s trying to “protect her,” but she already knows what is going on. So, why not let her have the information that will allow her to help him even more in making those smart decisions? The business, the family, and their lives are on the line. Allow her all of the way in! Trust her!

I think it is this holding back of his trust that keeps her from fully believing she has the whole package when he offers her his world.

Suspense, family drama, suspense, sexy romance, and suspense! BAD DEEDS kept me up until the wee hours, because there was no way I could stop until …. Oh sh## a cliffhanger… I should have known. I did know. Still, I go until I’m hanging on by my nails and I wait until the next book to see who will be there to peel my nails from the cliff and hold me as I continue on in this series.

Note: while I was given this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Lisa’s writing has been something I’ve followed since I started reading again & blogging and I find that her work just gets more distinctive and charismatic the more she writes. She has a way of pulling you into her words and not letting go! I am addicted to her writing and always anticipating the next story, next installment of a series, or the next twist she will take in her stories. She has established herself as someone who doesn’t’ fit into one specific genre bubble and I love that about her. She can pull off a romantic story, or a action packed romantic suspense with the same gusto.

In Bad Deeds we pick RIGHT back up with where Damage Control ended. In the middle of a war, Shane and Emily cling to one another for survival. These two just have so much passion between them & such an amazingly sexy dynamic; I think they are at the top of my favorite couples lists of Lisa’s. Despite being confident that I think I know what will happen next, the twists and turns mixed in with the angst delivered in this series, and book in particular, have thrown me for a head spin a few different times. Shane is desperate to save the family name as well as protect Emily at the same time. With feuds brewing and uncertainty ahead, Shane must find a way to survive not only the cartel, but keep from loosing Emily at the same time. This book was very well balanced and had so much angsty and romantic and suspenseful and at times twisty moments that there was never a lull in the story. Lisa kept this one going from cover to cover and left us with such a MAJOR cliffhanger, January can’t get here soon enough!

ARHHH. I knew this was a cliffhanger going in and so I put it off hoping that I would have book 4 in my hands, but it was haunting me…..seeing it there on my kindle…..and now I have 5 months till End Game comes out….. That is cruel and unusual punishment! She even tries to apologize for leaving us on the cliff….evil, so evil! But even so, I still loved it!

I am in love with Emily and Shane’s story to save the Brandon family name and company from attacks from his brother, Derek and other outside forces. I love how strong Shane is and how Emily is perfect for him. There is an underlying element of Emily’s past which is still unknown. Tidbits are tossed out here and there, but there are so many twists and turns it was amazing! I don’t want to spoil it, but I do want to mention that I love the recap she adds at the beginning to catch us up….without it I would be so lost.

this book is gutwrenching and shattering. It is sad and perfectly weaved story that makes you hurt for so many characters.
no one
and I mean it
will see this book coming
wow

sidenotes:
you wonder why its rated a 4 .. I know...
look this book is 300 pages .. and about 150 pages in excess..
the story didn't need the huge fluff that got added to it because it took away from the core of the story which was great! if the book was shortened with the good bits.. this would have been a slam dunk read for me. instead I did a dirty thing and did some skimming!

Loved, loved, loved this book. Love the series. Shane and Emily grasp ahold of you and have you turning all of the pages as fast as you can read. It does end in a cliffy, and lordy what a cliffy it is! I can't wait for the final installment in this series!

I LOOOOOVE cliffhangers!! And this one was good. Really good. Outside of that, I don't really have anything new to say about the series. Some dialog was a little too cheesy for my taste yet there were also some pretty emotional parts in this book, as opposed to the others. Another solid 4 star book. Excited to start the final book and see how it all ends!

Background
I'm a big fan of Lisa Renee Jones' brand of erotic suspense, and this series has been intriguing from the off. Enter instalment three, which I've finally managed to find the time to catch up on.

Cover
I'll admit, I'm not particularly a big fan of the branding for this series; the covers wouldn't tempt me to one-click. Luckily, I know Lisa Renee Jones' work well enough to want it anyway!

Writing
As ever, Lisa manages to weave several fascinating strands of story together, with numerous characters and their relevant agenda working beautifully together (and, indeed, against one another). It is pure skill that she manages to maintain this, and the complex plot, without the reader becoming completely lost in this high-stakes game. Even better, we had the chance to delve into the minds of previously secretive Derek and Theresa.

In some aspects, what I felt was a slight disappointment was the overabundance of sex scenes—and believe me, this is a criticism I seldom provide. There were far too many, and their quality just wasn't enough to have me interested. I much preferred the politics.

That cliffhanger though.

Characters
We're beginning to get a sense of the development of our characters, with some softening and some hardening. Of particular interest to me were that of Derek and Shane, and their relationships both with one another and with others. Their actions, their goals. What's happening is various shades of grey, layering up the tension to make for what I imagine to be a rather explosive finale.

Conclusion
Despite the disappointing sex scenes, Lisa Renee Jones' brand of romantic suspense never fails to impress, and Bad Deeds is just another delicious portion before we're served the dessert of this epic series.

The Dirty Money saga is back and more deadly than ever…with a twist at the end that will blow you away. It will push your pulse rate past the danger zone! The stakes are higher and the action has never been hotter. This is LRJ at her best.
Shane Brandon is lured into dealing with the devil himself Adrian Martina, the leader of the US side of the Mexican cartel’s operation. He faces his deadliest adversary yet – Ramon, the sadistic enforcer and head of Martina’s security. Finally he has the support of his brother Derek as an ally, Shane races to rescue the only woman who sets his heart ablaze, Emily. Plus he needs to stop Ramon and Adrian from eliminating their next threat – his brother Derek.
You will be drawn into Shane’s troubled world and cheering for him to beat the odds and save his girl. I continue to love this story and the characters. It’s an adventure with a plot to leave you craving for the next book. Exploding with breaktaking excitement and thrilling plot twists this book delivers!!!
