Bad Deeds - the Dirty Money series is picking up where it left off from Damage Control and its even better than the first two!!!

If you didn't fall in love with the Dirty Money series yet - you'll sure be goner come the end of Bad Deeds. It will leave you reeling, begging for me. Lisa Renee Jones has done a phenomenal job in bringing these complex characters to life while still leaving some mystery to them. The progression of the series is staggering. The development of the series just keeps getting better and better. I couldn't put it down; the story stayed with me and sent my mind reeling long after the last words read.

This can't be the end ... it just can't. This installment of the Dirty Money series is just too damn good to end. It ends with a maybe cliffhanger and I wasn't ready for the end when it thumped me in the forehead.

The Brandon family is the perfect combination of good, bad and everything in between. Shane the ever sexy younger Brandon brother proves why he is at the top of the pack and Pops aka daddy Brandon proves why he is a low down dirty so-in-so. Big brother Derek proves that their is a heart beating in his chest and mommy Brandon just so misguided. The combination of all these characters makes Bad Deeds one of the best contemporary romances I've read this year. Now, the family dynamics are great in this tale because they are so very dysfunctional. With the addition of Emily, the cartel and all the other players just makes this story even better.

The pace of Bad Deeds is excellent and stays focused on the lead characters. Sometimes, when there is a great cast of secondary characters authors are sometimes sidetracked. When sidetracked authors will start to narrate the lives of the secondary too soon in a series and this removes the focus from the main characters. There isn't a risk of that here but what the reader gets in return is the perfect combination of heat and angst.

The heroine (Emily) is so much stronger but there was a constant hope of her having a more kick-ass role. You know ... slapping a couple of the characters on my behalf. Though Emily isn't kicking butt and taking names, this doesn't take anything away from her character. In this installment, the reader witnesses the heroine taking her appropriate position beside the hero. Her character possesses a nice quiet strength that was a pleasure to read.

As mention before, the book ended with a CLIFFHANGER. Personally, I am happy with that because I can go for another installment of the Brandons. There is definitely some unfinished business and this reader is looking forward to seeing it completed.

Wow, just Wow. Bad Deeds left me breath- and speechless.

Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is the third book in the Dirty Money Series and is not a stand alone.
I recommend to read Hard Rules and Damage Control first.
Bad Deeds picks up where Damage Control ends.
Emily and Shane are a couple. Emily is Brandon sen. secretary. And Derek, Shane's older brother threatens Emily. He accomplished to meddle with a dangerous cartel and endangered the whole family. Now Shane has to pick up the pieces and try to make things right.
When you liked the first two books, you're gonna love this third.
There's more of everything. More drama, more danger, more violence and more feelings, both good and bad.
I love this series so much, I can't say how much. I love the writing and I love the words. I love the characters- I could feel their emotions in the words.
Favorite Quote: "Life isn't all roses... "'
I recommend this book, give 5 Stars and can't wait 'll the next book in the series releases. Thank you Lisa Renee Jones.

OMG! This series is fantastic! This is the second book I have read of Lisa'a where I am reading in bed and finish and wake my husband with the comment of, "Are you F****** kidding me that this is how it ends?" There is more to the story and I. CAN'T. WAIT! What an amazing addition to this series and so well written. Emily and Shane take us on a crazy ride in their determination to seek the truth and get control of their lives and of the ones they love.

Shane Brandon is fighting a war against his family and the drug cartel determined to take his family's business from them. In this war, he is also fighting himself. The battle between who he is and what he must become in order to protect the family and business he loves. Starting on a threat, the book opens to the end of a family dinner where Brandon Senior reveals his most recent strategy against terminal cancer, and where Derek openly threatens Shane's woman. Emily knows what is like to fear for her life. It was that fear that brought her to Denver and Shane. But hearing Derek's threat on her life brings it all back. She knows they are in danger. Betrayal, hunger for power and control, drug lords, and the Geminis are constant threats. But as Shane struggles to protect them and move forward, Emily finds that being his anchor, respite, and inspiration is what she must be if they are to survive and have a chance of a HEA. Martina is determined to take over Brandon Enterprises, Derek wants to control the same company, Shane's mother has her own priorities, Shane's father seems to take pleasure from putting one son against the other. Enemies abound, but the final betrayal will come from a threat they thought was neutralized. With the biggest cliffhanger yet, Bad Deeds literally finishes up with a bang!

5 Stars

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Hard Rules (Dirty Money #1)
Damage Control (Dirty Money #2)

This is more of Emily and Shane’s story. It’s family against family for all the power? What sacrifices will have to be made? Can he save his family when he is battling against people in his family? Lots of pain and sorrow in this story. But when his darker side comes out will that be the end of him and Emily? Will he push her too far? Or further then she ever thought she wants to go? Will she be able to deal with what he is becoming or will this be the end? When there is war blood will be spilled but whose blood will be spilled in the end? Will we have a survivor?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I love the Dirty Money series, It just SOOOOOO GOOD!! and when I got the chance to read an arc of the 3rd book I was thrilled and I dived in as soon as could .We are once again following Emily and Shane , I really thought it wasn't possible to love these two more than I already did I was wrong lol , there romance was sexy and fun but at the same so honesty and real in so many ways ,the romance was just fantastic, I feel like in every book we go deeper and deeper into what I called the web of deception and war for who will take over the family company and In a lot of ways many unexpected things happen that I did not see coming. Shane and his brother Derek have constantly been at each others throats in the first two books , so to see them working together was shock lol and it just made me so happy , to be honest we got to see the entire Brandon family work together and even though this family has done so many messed up things to each other , you can see at the core of it , they love each other in there own way ,we got to see new sides to all of these characters in this story and I just loved that . The cat and mouse game between the Brandon family and Martina cartel escalate to the point where hell breaks lose and as a result of this we got one very brutal cliff hanger that has me so very eager to dive into the next book series. I am counting down the days until the forth book comes . Bad Deeds was sexy , thrilling third book in the series and If you wondering if you should pick up the third book in the series the answer is yes !!

These are my Happily Ever After Novel Thoughts...

Wow! Those Brandon men are vicious, ferocious, and all bite! They may do a lot of barking and that may be scary but not as much as the chunk they'll take out of your hide when crossed.

This is the this book in the series and things are getting down to the nitty gritty. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat while hanging on to every word.

It's suspenseful, aggravating, full of angst, and an overall enjoyable read. Be warned, as I'm sure you're already aware since you've read the first two, this is a cliffhanger. You will end on the edge of the steepest cliff yet with your arms flailing.

I love how the characters feel real and you're watching as well as taking part of the story.

Jessica has a new look and there are a few new key players. Don't trust anyone if they haven't been vetted by Seth! Do grab a copy and give the Brandon men their due as they battle it out over Brandon Enterprises and a happily ever after.

4.5 stars--BAD DEEDS is the third installment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary adult DIRTY MONEY romantic, suspense series focusing of attorney and billionaire businessman Shane Brandon, and attorney/PA Emily Stevens. Their continuing story should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately upon the events of book two- Damage Control. As Shane struggles to keep Brandon Pharmaceuticals out of the hands of the Mexican cartel, he must also battle his older brother Derek for control of the family business.

Told from three first person points of view (Emily, Shane and Derek) BAD DEEDS follows Shane Brandon as he struggles for control of Brandon Enterprises. As their father’s health continues to decline, Shane and Derek are forced to compete for controlling interest in a company on the verge of imploding. With the Mexican cartel threatening everyone he loves Shane makes a deal with the devil that will hopefully calm the beast at the door. Lives will be threatened; betrayal revealed; and a promise of revenge will place Emily in the direct line of fire.

BAD DEEDS is an intriguing story of power, family, betrayal, and suspense. The destructive nature of greed forces the exposure of secrets and lies that threaten to destroy Brandon Enterprises. The ultimate battle for control pushes the boundaries of fidelity and promises for a family struggling with threats from all sides. The premise is gripping and intense; the characters are passionate, colorful and energetic; the romance is edgy and provocative- the sexual energy is palpable. BAD DEEDS is an exciting and incredible addition to Lisa Renee Jones’ DIRTY MONEY series.

BAD DEEDS ends on a cliffhanger-you have been warned.

Holy crap!!! I don't even know where to start with this review, I know that I was completely blown away by this story and that ending.... OMG!!

Each instalment just keeps getting better and better, I just couldn't get enough of this book, and now I've finished I NEED the next book like yesterday!

Lisa Renee Jones' ability to draw her readers into her worlds is just amazing, I seriously just can't get enough of her work.

Intense, emotional and sexy as all hell, this is definitely a series I recommend reading.

From the moment he met Emily, Shane’s life has been turned upside-down. He’s had to contend with an irate and ailing father, an angry brother, a wayward mother, and the secrets that surround his dysfunctional family. Despite the fact that every turn he takes ends up turning into something unexpected, he’s determined in setting all wrongs to right. He refuses to sit on the sidelines while someone tries to destroy the legacy his father has done his best to build and maintain.

The Dirty Money series keeps getting better and better. When we first meet Shane, he was determined in keeping his family at arm’s length. Part of him wanted to deny the fractured truths and misdeeds that kept cropping up around him. Little by little, though, he found it within himself to try to redeem himself in front of Emily, his father, and the rest of his family.

Lisa has done a wonderful job in further crafting and polishing the world she’s created around these broken, fractured, and also resilient characters. We get to see their vulnerabilities, their pain and heartaches, as well as their determination in trying to make the world they live in a better place. Mind you, Shane, his family, and Emily have been drawn in a dark and twisted world that doesn’t make sense sometimes, all because of the fact that Shane’s brother hoped to make something of himself.

Derek’s pain and heartache is palpable. So much so, that anyone can relate to what he thinks and feels. Shane’s father can’t be left behind either. This is a man who’s built an empire from the ground up. A man who refuses to let go of everything he has around him. While both of these men have different point of views, they’re ultimately willing to band together in the hopes of keeping what belongs them close to their hearts. Granted, nothing they do is ever hunky-dory.

I can’t wait to see what else Lisa has in store for us with Shane, Emily, and the rest of the Brandon clan. The war they’ve inadvertently found themselves is far from over. Whether they’ll truly find their happy endings remains to be seen. No matter what comes their way, however, we can be sure that they’ll do everything possible to further safeguard what truly belongs to them.

Once again, the Queen of Romantic Suspense kills a it in Bad Deeds. Good lord, what a wild ride!

As Shane and Emily get closer and closer, things at Brandon Enterprises get messier and messier. Brandon Senior is dying (maybe) and Derek is playing both sides (or is he). And just what is going on with Maggie?

I loved seeing Emily and Shane get closer, become stronger together. To let each other really see their true selves. They're quite the freaking power couple. And Derek and his relationship with Theresa. Jeez, can't wait to see what happens there too!

What happens when all the pieces get put together? What happens when all the truths are revealed? I'm going to sit on pins and needles until End Game releases in January. I. Cannot. Wait.

**FULL REVIEW**

Once again, Lisa Renee Jones blows me away with the complexity of her suspense love stories. I love how she gives the details needed to keep you guessing but not enough to give anything away until just the right time.

Picking up where Damage Control left off (with one whammy of a cliffhanger I might add) and as we follow the story of the Brandon family and Emily, Shane's love interest. Emotions run high as games continue to be played, people continue to get hurt, and trust is tried over and over again.

We learn whose side the players are on and the lengths one person will go to in order to protect what he thinks is his...

And there's one last thing. Another cliffhanger...and this time, we truly have NO IDEA what's going to happen next. Not even Jones knows...oh boy, I have a feeling we are in for one wild ride.

**4 You Did A Bad Thing, Stars**

Brandon Enterprises is still in power, and The Brandon Family is still out to destroy one another. In the third book of the Dirty Money Series by Lisa Renee Jones, you are pulled right into the crosshairs. Bad Deeds picks up where the last book ended, Brandon Family dinner, and on the menu tonight? Death, denial, and of course destruction, just a family breaking bread.
Time is running out, literally and figuratively. Shane Brandon and Emily Stevens are navigating survival on more than one level. The Cartel has made its demands, Brandon Senior is struggling to breathe, and brothers are out to prove their worth. This was by far my favorite in the series. The tension was palatable, the conflict on every corner, yet as with any family, moments of tenderness were found just beneath the surface. Ms. Jones has written a wonderful installment of this saga that had me anticipating the next page, but fearful of turning it. A complex plot, with extremely strong, poignant characters. The stakes are high. Will love be the answer?
This family has worked its way into my life, and I am left holding my breath until the conclusion. Ugh. January can’t some fast enough.

In the continuation of the Dirty Money series the danger to both Shane and Emily is creeping closer and becoming more nefarious. What I love most about this series is that while there are multiple strings of plot between the dying father, Emily's maybe criminal brother, the drug cartel connection and the family drama the plot is never convoluted. While Ms. Jones untangles the web of lies and intrigue, there is never a time where a reader loses the string of what is happening.

Shane steps up his game where Emily is concerned as he desperately tries to keep her from being exposed to the evil that is seeping all around them. Emily, in turn, is determined to resist his protection and stand by the man she loves. Both character's continue to be strong, exerting their will on the world around them as the maze of power plays, secret dealings, and murky allies gets more twisted.

This is an excellent continuation of the Dirty Money series, though there will be one more after this so you will be left hanging... with a gasp.

This book took me to the edge of the cliff and then left me hanging!!! Shane is finally getting this in the way he envisioned for himself and his family. Fighting to make thing legit and keeping Emily and his family from danger proves to be difficult.
Passion, intrigue and suspense are prominent in this book as always Lisa Renee Jones, grabs not only our imagination but also our hearts keeping it firmly lodged in our throats while we read about how much Shane would give to the ones he loves.
Desperate for the next book, to see how the final scene plays out.

“A blade in your hand now. A blade in your heart, or back, later.”

Here I sit two days after reading Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones, still SPINNING from this whirlwind of a romantic suspense that STUNNED me SPEECHLESS. My mind is still stuck in this story, wrapped up in this mastery of words that OWNED ME. Bad Deeds still OWNS every ounce of me.

Bad Deeds is smolder, scandal, and sin that seduces the senses while wrapping you in a web of suspense full of thrilling twists and turns. This is a tale that twists around you where you’re fully immersed and highly intoxicated. This is a story that steals your mind, body, and soul. There is no other way to read this stirring suspense except to do a deep dive, sinking in until you can only feel the words. You have to go ALL THE WAY IN!!!

Shane Brandon is smooth, smart, and sexy. This white knight in a dark world is at war to save his family and their empire before they all crash and burn. Shane is tough on the outside but tender at the core. An all-alpha, Shane is passionate and powerful, a protector and hero I LOVED!!!

She is the sunshine that was never supposed to exist in this storm I’m living.

Emily Stevens is beautiful, brave, bold, sexy, savvy, and smart. Like Shane, Emily is a survivor. She is the ultimate heroine.

“No one has ever made me feel what you make me feel, Shane.”

Emily and Shane are MAGICAL together! I felt their chemistry combust. I felt their love flow through the pages.

“Emily,” he whispers softly, a gruff, affected quality to his voice, and then he’s kissing me, the taste of all of his emotions bleeding into my mouth: anger. Guilt. Pain.

That kiss is palpable! It’s power meets passion, a kiss that is so much more.

I know it’s with her that I will always find me.

Fashion studio photo of a sensual couple in lingerie and tuxedo

Shane, this tough man, MELTED ME! I could not help but SMILE and SWOON. Shane POSSESSED ME while Emily IMPRESSED ME!

“I won’t be the girl who went down without one hell of a fight.”

This king protects his queen and this queen protects her king too.

“You could always sacrifice your queen and let her die a royal death. Would it—would she—be worth it to win?”

Bad Deeds was MY DRUG and I could not get enough of this FIX. Words crash into you where you can’t help but be immersed in the spell of the story. This story stole, stripped, and shattered both my heart and soul. Bad Deeds BLEW ME AWAY!

Oh what a thrilling and twisted tale Lisa Renee Jones weaves! Bad Deeds is FLAWLESSLY EXECUTED. This fast-paced read rendered me POWERLESS where I SUCCUMBED to this soul-stirring suspense. This rush of romance roller coaster rendered me BREATHLESS! I was nearly biting my nails as this twisted tale thrust me to the edge where I dangled, clinging to every ounce of hope. Bad Deeds set me ON FIRE where I felt this book BURN! I FELT ALIVE, and there is no better feeling when reading a heart-stopping suspense!

The best suspense stories are those that crawl so deeply into your head that you’re not merely reading a book but living it too. Lisa Renee Jones is the queen of suspense! From Hard Rules to Damage Control to Bad Deeds, this series only gets better! Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is not simply a story: it’s an EDGE-OF-YOUR-SEAT EXPERIENCE and ADRENALINE-INDUCING ADVENTURE!!! I am still shaken, spinning from Bad Deeds, suspended in a suspense stupor. This adventure left me ACHING FOR MORE.

💋💋💋💋💋 twisted, thrilling and tender kisses

Okay, if you haven’t read the first two books in the Dirty Money series, stop now and go read them! Bad Deeds definitely cannot be read as a standalone. Now that that’s out of the way oh holy moly – Lisa Renee Jones that cliffhanger – I can’t even!

The Brandon family and Emily are back and just as intense as ever! Shane is still working hard to keep the villains, including his own brother, out of Brandon Enterprises, but it is no easy feat. His father and mother are dishing out their own mind games and it really just feels like you never know what is coming next. The cartel is involved even deeper and players are starting to reveal themselves. Emily and Shane’s bond continues to hold strong despite what is going on around them.

Lisa Renee Jones really creates a powerful, ruthless story full of mystery and suspense and what the hell is happening, and I can’t get enough. This is one of those books that I just couldn’t put down and I NEED MORE! The ending ripped me apart and I feel like there is a part of me just holding my breath until I can find out what has really happened. I really have loved this series, it’s complicated and edgy mixed with passion and love. You think you’ve got something figured out and then there’s a new twist making you re-think every theory. I definitely cannot wait to see what happens next and seriously, if you haven’t read this series you really should!
