Gah! That ending!!! This series has had me on edge. I can not wait for the next book. That ending was a huge cliffhanger and I need the book now!

I'm loving this series. There is so much going on, so many enemies and yet some may not be enemies. I'm trying to figure out who is playing who. Not only do we have Shane's insane family all pitting against each other but then we got the involvement of the mob.

I'm fascinated with how Shane is trying to work every angle to clean up the company while staying true to himself. Then we still have to deal with Emily's past that is going to come back to haunt her at any moment.

With as much that's going on in this series, the relationship between Shane and Emily is very much front and center in this story. I love how much we get to see these two work together against all the obstacles in their paths.

The more that Adrian Martina is involved, the more I'm intrigued by him. I really hope he gets his own book. And lets not forget about Seth, Nick and Cody. They are all so intriguing that I want more!

Lisa Renee Jones has outdone herself with this series. I love how she makes a bad boy good! I need End Game in my greedy little hands ASAP!

It's official! This author is trying to kill me with these cliffhangers! This book definitely has the biggest of all. This is another incredible installment of the Dirty Money series. Shane and Emily have come to terms over her lies and deceit but the Brandon family drama is kicking in to full gear. Shane may be the master of the game when it comes to his family but with everything on the line will the cost be too much??

Don't miss this one but note - This series must be read in order for you to have any idea what's going on. The list of characters is long and the games people are playing is just as long. Don't miss one exciting moment. Now I sit and wait for the next book!!

4.5-4.75 STARS

"Bad Deeds" is the third installment in author Lisa Renee Jones' Dirty Money series. As Emily and Shane's tumultuous saga continues, you can practically feel the tension building, as the author leads the reader towards a shocking cliffhanger that will leave you desperately craving more!

With each new addition to this series, Shane and Emily’s story draws me in even further. While their relationship grows and intensifies, so does Shane’s determination to rescue his family’s company from the corrupt forces that have methodically infiltrated its core. Adding to Shane’s turmoil, is his struggle to reconcile his feelings towards his various family members. There’s his father’s imminent death, his mother’s betrayal, and his brother’s volatile demeanor--all of which serve to fuel Emily’s concern over Shane’s ability to keep his darker side at bay.

Scorching hot and passion-filled, “Bad Deeds” is a suspenseful romance that takes you in its grip and refuses to let go. Waiting for this story’s conclusion will certainly NOT be an easy task!

ACK!!!!!!!!! Cliffhangers should not end like this!!!!!!! I have read all three in this series in the last week and really wish I could roll right into the final book *sigh* but *alas* will have to wait...

Shane and Emily have found their rhythm and work really well together even though they hit a few bumps, they did manage to navigate them with all the trust and love intact. The Brandon family is a dysfunctional mess with Senior pitting his sons against each other, Maggie playing games and not sure who she wants in charge, and Derek a wild card who is either going to self destruct or...not...

Twists and turns and betrayal and so much chaos and goodness I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! Love where this is going and can hardly wait for the final book in this series!!!! Bring it on!

I loved, loved reading the amazing, intriguing, and engaging third book in the Dirty Money series by the phenomenally talented Lisa Renee Jones. I voluntarily reviewed a copy through the publisher and NetGalley.
Shane is desperately trying to save his family's company from the mob, continually at odds with his brother, his dad continues to pit Shane and his brother against each other, and his mom is having an affair. The only illuminating positive point in Shane's life is Emily who he doesn't want to lose.
Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, enthralling and spellbinding story line capturing the reader's attention, and a must read romance story.

Deliciously Addictive! OMG! I could not put this fantastic story down! This was a fast paced, all consuming, intense fight for control that was addictive, commanding, dangerous and passionate. Bad Deeds continues this dangerous journey that will leave you obsessively turning the page, desperate to devour every brilliantly crafted word looking for the answers to all the secrets.
The intrigue, the passion, and the sex is off the charts but as the danger escalates no one is safe. The players are many, all wanting to take over the Brandon empire. The Martina Cartel is not giving up, and as these dangerous desperate men assert their power, will Shane and Emily's bond survive? Will their deep connection keep Shane in the light or will the darkness overtake him? As we get a look into Derek and Teresa's dynamics and finally see a new side to Derek, is he showing us all of his cards? Will Brandon senior find a miraculous cure for his cancer? Will Emily's new endeavors help Shane save the Brandon Empire?
This was simply perfection, with its' suspense, betrayal, danger and intrigue, as well as twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Filled with Power, Control and Passion that is erotically intense and consuming. Warning, there is a gut wrenching cliffhanger of an ending! Leaving the reader frustrated and flabbergasted with more questions that will have to wait till the final book in this series. You don't want to miss this series! Loved it! Get your book now!
Lisa Renee Jones amazing talent shines blindingly bright in this masterpiece of a series and I cannot wait for the final book, End Game.

I am so happy to say that each book in the Dirty Money series keeps getting better and better and Bad Deeds is by far my favorite so far.

Picking up where Damage Control leaves off we get thrown into Shane and Emily's story as they continue to deal with drug cartels and evil family members who have their own agenda's on what is best for the family company that Shane is desperately trying to save. There is a lot of suspense and intrigue we have come to love with a great Lisa Renee Jones novel, but there are also some relationships that seem to be moving forward especially between Shane and his brother Derek.
At the core are Emily and Shane and the love that continues to grow between the two characters. Their partnership is tested though as it has been throughout the series. This being the third book in a 4 book series there is another cliffhanger - this one a major one for sure.

Lisa Renee Jones does it again with Bad Deeds and I for one can not wait until January to see how the Dirty Money series ends.

'Bad Deeds' by Lisa Renee Jones is book Three in the "Dirty Money" series. This continues the story of Shane and Emily from the previous books. With that said, I do feel you need to read each book to full enjoy this series and their story. But if you choose not to do so.. Ms. Jones does make it easy to catch up. I have just enjoyed the series and hate for you to miss anything! Also, this book does end with a cliffhanger to set you up for the next installment in their story. This book pretty much starts where the last one finished.

Shane is still working to get his family business away from dealing with Adrian Martina and the cartel. Shane's father health is failing and in addition things are still going on with his brother Derek . Emily still has her secrets but now she is worried about Shane trying to save the family business and how it may change him. But the family needs to come together to deal with this threat. This book does open up more on the secondary characters with their feelings in thoughts. We see some changes in Derek, his relationships with his family and Teresa . Even Adrian who appears to be nothing but bad, starts to have a few redeeming qualities.

So this book opened up our eyes to some of the other characters, while we worry about Shane and how things will play out in the end for him and Emily.

As I said earlier...I am in Love with their series and can't wait for the next installment!

Dirty Money:,

Book 1: Hard Rules,

Book 2: Damage Control,

Book 3: Bad Deeds,

Book 4: End Game,

This is the third book in the Dirty Money series and I was blown away by how intense this one was! I highly recommend reading the prior two books before reading this one in order to have a better understanding of what is going on here since this is a continuation of the same story with previously introduced characters.

Shane and Emily's relationship is being pushed to the limits and tested in every way imaginable and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. The tension comes to a boiling point in this amazingly addictive story and I love how this author had me on the edge of my seat up until the very last page!

I highly recommend not only this story, but this entire series to anyone to read.

Lisa Renee Jones brings us back to the world of Dirty Money in Bad Deeds. The story picks up exactly where book 2 ended and you jump right back into the family drama. A family dinner with the Brandons is more of a prequel to war than a meal and lots of bombs are loaded and aimed. Derek makes veiled threats, Mrs. Brandon tries to get everyone to the table, and Mr. Brandon mentions that he is planning to go to Germany for a treatment that will cure his incurable cancer. So, you know, normal family dinner.

Shane and Emily have a pretty rock solid relationship at this point. Shane is realizing how amazing Emily is and how much he loves her. Emily is strong and smart; her advice to Shane is always spot on and he would have already screwed up a few things without her guidance. Shane, however, doesn't want Emily to be involved in his world and wants her to docilely leave the room and let him handle business. It was frustrating at times because Emily makes Shane better.

Shane was a bit wimpy for me in the beginning book. While it was sweet and romantic to hear his inner mooning over Emily, it started to come off as a bit saccharine after awhile. I wanted him to be more self confident and dominate. Not necessarily dominate over Emily at all, but be that dominate presence that he was in the courtroom. He just came off as less self assured in the first few chapters that it bothered me. However, then he would turn into a cold Dom type and it felt weird. His behavior throughout the story felt off to me frequently and it was strange. I am glad there are chapters from other POVs to help balance out the weird vibe I was getting from Shane. Sometimes the sex between Shane and Emily was uncomfortable because I wasn't sure where Shane's head was at and it made the interaction seem...just uncomfortable. I don't know how to explain it really but it was just not quite the same as before.

Bad Deeds also gives us more insight into Derek. Parts of the story are told in Teresa's POV so you get to see behind the curtain so to speak. Derek has been the villain throughout the story and I enjoyed getting a better insight into his possible end game. Derek also opens up more with Shane and you get to see further into his motivations. At this point in the story, no one is 100% good or clean (except maybe Emily) and the story keeps you on your toes guessing who get the dirtiest; will Derek remain the villain, will Shane make some dark decisions, will Mr. Brandon live on and continue to torture everyone? Honestly, at this point, not only is the state of the company up in the air, the villains are numerous and continuously coming, lines of good and bad are blurred into big grey blobs, and survival of anyone isn't guaranteed. The plot keeps you guessing as to how everything will work out. Frankly, the end game keeps changing and you have to read carefully to keep up! There are so many players in the game and all of them have various motives.

My biggest struggle with the story is at times it felt we took a few steps backward. Book 2 was really engaging to me, and Bad Deeds felt like it regressed at time. I will also say that with the family dynamics growing deeper in this book, it was kind of like a soap opera (I think this is both good and bad-mostly good though because I love the drama!)

As per Lisa Renee style this book will have you on the edge of your sit until the very end! Very well written and engrossing

This series sure knows how to mess with your head....as you read this you are not sure who to believe!

This is the 3rd book in the Dirty Money series and it picks up right where Damage Control left off. Shane Brandon is questioning who Emily Stevens really is. After Seth caught her in an uncompromising position, Shane doesn't know what to think. Emily doesn't want to reveal her true identity so she escapes from Shane but that doesn't last for long....he is quickly able to find her. After the two of them hash things out, they realize they need to be together and they both need to not hold back any more secrets.

As the mess with Medina cartel continues to escalate, Shane is even more at odds with his brother, Derek. All the while, Brandon, Sr seems to be getting worse and worse in regards to his cancer.

Emily starts to realize that Shane's thoughts and actions are starting to get darker and tries to reach through to his better side. Shane explains that he needs to hone his darker side to come out on top. Just when it looks like things are getting worse, Shane comes up with a solution that may help everyone. Too bad he didn't expect the loose cannon that shows up and throws everything into a tailspin. When all hell breaks loose, BOOM....it ends on a huge cliffhanger! I thought the previous book's cliffhanger was bad, but this one takes the case....and I have to wait until January for the next book! Ugh! I am really loving this series!

The war for supremacy continues in the Brandon Empire. The Cartel is playing dirty, manipulating the Brandons to play their games. These games are getting more dangerous and bloody. This instalment fleshes out some of the characters, exposing their vulnariblities and strengths.

Shane leaves the family dinner with winning in mind! What unfolds during this family gathering makes him even more determined to fight for the family empire. Protecting Emily and his family name are his primary objectives.

Emily's and Shane's relationship is getting stronger and they are protective of each other. Shane's new approach to dealing with the business is giving her cause for concerns. She trusts him but fears that he might become what he loathes the most. In the process, she starts to have flashbacks of her own demons. Martina's persistence of being in control doesn't help matters! Emily has a knack of getting through to the Brandons, Senior and Derek included. Derek shows another side of himself and the reasons why he became involved in the bad deeds! Secrets about their mother, friends and business partners are revealed.

Fighting this battle is proving to be a dirty business. This instalment is nicely paced and full of suspense. Bonds are repaired. The love between Shane and Emily is unconditional, together through thick and thin. Their physical interactions are scorching and their emotions are real.

I like the way the multiple layers of this story are gradually peeled away. Whenever there's a feasible solution to all the problems at hand, something controversial and dangerous materialises. It looks that this final plan might just work and then, it's all hell let loose. I am stunned by the cliffhanger! Shane's promise has given me a little glimmer of hope, but it's only just that until the author sheds more light on this dire situation. Phew! What a journey! The next instalment is eagerly awaited.

I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

We're back in Denver with Shane Brandon and his Emily!

Lisa tells us all about the 2nd book again at the beginning of this 3rd book. Which is so mega-amazing for us Bookalzheimer-Sufferers! I loved that.

The book starts in the same moment we left them last time.
We're at dinner with Shane's family. And things are not really going all that well.
But Shane needs to know what his dad and his brother have planned.
He is still trying to save the family name. And keeping Emily safe while doing that.
And now the Martina cartel boss starts getting impatient. He wants to work together. But Shane can't trust him.
Who CAN he trust? His dad? His mom? His brother?

We have LOTS of dangerous and exciting and suspensy and erotic moments to go through until we might see a happily ever after somewhere on the horizon! Which of course might not happen by the end of this book, because there is one more coming! ☺

GREAT 3rd BOOK!!!!

I love this series!
It's all so mysterious and exciting and suspensy and sexy and sad.
Even more dangerous now that Adrian Martina has decided to get personally involved! Ugh. I want that Happy End now!!!! ☺☺

I love Shane and Emily. They just want what's best for everybody, but it's so hard to fight for their happily ever after with so much happening. In so many different places. All so very suspensy! I really enjoyed reading it. You can't stop, you just have to know what will happen next. And there's ALWAYS something happening. But I also think this series could've been done in 2 or 3 books. Sometimes it gets a bit much, with the constant repeats and the same threats and new threats and ... it's a bit too much. But I still really loved it! And I especially loved that brother Derek is not the mega-horrible guy he was in the previous books - there's hope for him yet! ☺

Lots of excitement and sexiness!
Perfect Romantic Suspense!
I think this series would be an amazing TV Show!!!

Can't wait to see what will happen in the final book because we're SO not done with #Shamily yet!!!!!☺☺☺ CLIFFY!!!!!!!!

BAD DEEDS was another very exciting & sexy romantic suspense love story... Run to your nearest amazon for your own Shane - this one is MINE!!!

The promise of this story is finally fulfilled for me: the tension, growth and repeated twists and turns were perfectly timed and kept me glued to the story until the end. And while there still is no real resolution on the overall conflict, so many things surprised and delighted me with this story: and many of the questions and concerns that I had from the earlier installments, new questions appeared, and surprisingly I found some kinder feelings for a formerly despicable character. This is not a series that is yet complete, and as each book picks up where the last left off – you need to read these in order. But, this is my favorite of the three so far, and I am finding myself desperate for the next and final.

See, Emily and Shane are still growing closer and their moments together are full of that emotion and sweetness. The kindness and caring that they show for one another, the steam that emanates from them, and even the reliance on the presence and quiet moments together adds yet another layer to their already palpable connection. But Shane and Derek are still jockeying for control of the family company, but something surprising happens: I found that with a bit more insight into Derek that I was feeling something more than an abject skin crawl when he appeared. No, he has not reformed, or become even marginally more intriguing, but add in some backstory and give him reasons why he chose the path he now walks, and I could see more of him beyond the ‘ick’ factor. Oh, I still don’t love him by any stretch, but you see how a situation can be viewed and responded to differently depending on personality.

Quiet moments are quickly shattered with the next twist and the constant up and down keep readers in a constant state of tension. Extrapolate that to the characters (yes I know it’s fiction) and the emotions are heightened even further, demanding that the page be turned to see what other changes and twists are to come. With yet another ending that had me wailing nooooooo (quietly in my head, mostly) the story still has a few questions left to answer, and undoubtedly more challenges before the end.

I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

The exciting and thrilling saga of Brandon Family continues. The story picks off right where it left off in book 2 Damage Control and it get more intense and heavy by each page. Shane is struggling to get the mafia out of their family business while his brother Derek is determined to keep them involved for more than just business reasons. His relationship with Theresa is bringing out the real Derek whom I got to like more and more. She makes him open up and act like a real person instead of the hard and nasty man we were first introduced to.
Shane and Emily are stronger than ever and I find it hard to believe that anything could break those two apart even for a second. The involvement of the mafia was a brilliant move from the author because they brought so much intensity, danger and heat to the already amazing mix. Brandon senior is showing that he too still cares about his family and wants them all to keep together one way or another. He may be dying but he is not going down without a fight. I was also positively surprised by the turn of the events regarding the mother who came clean with her sins and is trying her best to rectify them and stand her ground.
This book is NOT a standalone and you need to read first two books to be able to follow the story. It’s told mostly from Shane and Emily’s POV but there are also a few surprise chapters with other characters that were the icing on the cake. Book also ends with a BIG boom of a cliffhanger and gets you thinking all these different kind of explanations of what happened and most importantly to whom.
I liked this story, I truly did and a lot of things kept me on edge pretty much all the time. This plot is carefully created and I can imagine this being on TV as a series that would capture many viewer’s hearts. It’s been a while since I read previous books so the “Intro” at the beginning with the characters was another smart and great move from Lisa Renee Jones and I thank her for that. And it really warmed my heart to see a family that was falling apart at the start come together and stand up for each other and showed that there was still love there to grow on.
But… what I didn’t like was that ALL the focus was on the Brandon family and none on Emily in my opinion at least. I desired and expected to read more about her past and the estranged brother. Will he turn up and explain himself? Will Emily be able to be her true self again without the need to hide?
I am looking forward to The End game and hope to get more answers.
Narration: Grace Grant and Jeremy York were the narrators of this book and they both did a good job. Jeremy more than Grace at times because I had hard time listening and believe in her storytelling. More emotions are needed in some situations.

I received this book via NetGalley.com.

When Bad Deeds hit my kindle I couldn't wait to read it. Yet what I found the further I got into the book, I had to slow down. I had to make this book last. Why you ask? Because I know Lisa is going to throw me a twist or two that will have me on pin and needles until the next installment. (She did not disappoint!) So when I reached the last chapter I had to know but I didn't want it to be over. Lisa delivered me another heart stopping moment. Now I must wait, and try to keep my sanity as I wait to see what will happen next. Please tell me that End Game is coming soon.

Lisa Renee Jones' writing is like an addiction that you just can't get enough of.
Emily and Shane have grabbed a hold of a bigger piece of my heart. I sometimes feel that Lisa's writing has made them real. Like one day I will see them in person, (just not right now, I would be afraid for my life.). Bad Deeds picked up on the series and took us to the next level. Even though some curtains have been dropped and we should trust certain characters now, I am not sure that I can. I love that Shane and Emily have a stronger bond by the moment. I can't wait for them to get a HEA. They so deserve it. AND I LOVE THERE SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER....

Grab this series and binge read to catch up. Then we can wait together for End Game. It is going to be explosive I can feel it....

Bad Deeds is the best story of the series and certainly my favourite so far, and I absolutely loved every second of it. As this story has got more and more complex, interesting, and intriguing as its progressed. With all the lies, betrayals and truths that have been told. Bad Deeds really had it all and it was truly brilliant to read. It a!so kept me hooked from beginning to end and I really can't wait until January and the release of End Game.
