Lisa Scottoline never fails to disappoint! Great story, thrilling plot that I could not put down. Well worth a read, and would recommend to others.

I've read several books by this author and have always enjoyed everything I've read, so I was looking forward to reading this book. I must say it didn't disappoint. This book was easy to read and fast paced and kept me wanting to read more. I highly recommend this book.

I thought that this book was really good. This is the fifth book in the Rosato & DiNunzio series but it can be easily read as a stand-alone. I have enjoyed all of the books that I have read in this series so far and this book was no exception. I was hooked by this story pretty early on and was really eager to see how things would work out. I am so glad that I finally decided to pick up this book.

Mary DiNunzio agrees to represent a close family friend in a wrongful termination lawsuit. Her friend, Simon, was let go from his job and it seems that it might have a lot to do with the fact that his daughter's illness is costing the company a lot of money due to the way they are insured. She soon learns that her firm often represents the parent company and that there is a conflict of interest in representing Simon but she is determined to do whatever is necessary to make it happen.

I have read several books in this series and expected this book to be told from either Mary or Benny's point of view so I was thrilled to get to see them both take a leading role in the story. It was really interesting to get the chance to get in both of their heads in a case where they don't always agree with each other. I liked that the book had a nice mix of legal maneuvering and action to keep things exciting. There were a lot of twists and turns in this story and it was exciting to see everything develop. The mystery was able to keep me guessing until the very end.

Kate Burton did an excellent job with the narration. I thought that she did a great job with all of the character voices and that she was able to add a lot of excitement to the story. I thought that she had a very pleasant voice and that she read the story at a good pace. I believe that he narration added to my overall enjoyment of the story.

I would recommend this book to fans of legal thrillers. I thought that this was a well-crafted story that kept things exciting and had some feel-good moments. I will definitely be reading more of Lisa Scottoline's work in the future.

I received a digital review copy of this book from St. Martin's Press via NetGalley and borrowed a copy of the audiobook from my local library.

Exposed is the latest in the Rosato & DiNunzio series by Lisa Scottoline. I am a huge fan of her books about Rosato & Associates and now Rosato & DiNunzio. The characters are likable. With each new book in the series, we get to know the characters more and more. Another great legal thriller from Lisa Scottoline!!

I love all the Rosato & DiNunzio novels and the prior related series Rosato & Associates. Exposed and Feared were no exception. Although Feared was my favorite of the two and one of my favorite of the stories about the "all female law firm" precisely for the fact that the book centered on the possible discrimination issues arising from that very conceit.

Exposed was great in that it really showed some character growth for Mary who has always struggled with asserting herself outside the courtroom and this is further built upon in Feared. Scottoline always does a fantastic job of balancing the personal dramas of the characters we loved throughout the series as well as providing a thought provoking legal dilemma.

While this series does not need to be read in order, I highly recommend it so that you can develop a relationship with Mary, Bennie and everyone working at the Rosato & DiNunzio firm. I don't know if a follow-up to Feared is planned but it's still my hope that we get a new book soon featuring attorney Anne Murphy who hasn't carried a book on her own since Courting Trouble.

Final Verdict: 3.5/5 Stars for Exposed; 4/5 Stars for Feared

Thank you netgalley for another uncorrected proof. I always enjoy Lisa Scottolines Rosato and DiNuzio stories. There was a part near the end that I need to go back and reread. It has Bennie in the house looking for Mary, Bennie decided she need a weapon, is instantly out side hiding behind a tree. Did she climb out the window, walk out the door. It just kind of left u hanging there. The end is wonderful news for everyone e in the "family".

The fifth book in a series and in this one both Bennie and Mary take starring roles and it takes both of them to solve all that is going on in this book! One of Mary's childhood friends has quite a bit going on in his life and a bit of it needs the help of Mary and her law firm.

Again as all the books in this series, the case or in this case cases are self contained in this book, but I would absolutely read these in order because you will miss out on so much when it comes to the characters in the law firm.

I think what I loved most about this book was seeing this entire law firm work as a team to solve all that is going on in this book. To see all of the three main ladies use their strengths to help the other was so fun. In the previous books they have mostly worked independently, so it was such a good change to see them work as a unit.

I really fell more in love with the characters in this one through them interacting with each other. I think this book was perfectly timed in the series for you to reconnect with the law firm and see them come together to work on one case.

Mary DiNunzio wants to represent her old friend Simon Pensiera, a sales rep who was wrongly fired by his company, but her partner Bennie Rosato represents the parent company. When she confronts Mary, explaining this is a conflict of interest, an epic battle of wills and legal strategy between the two ensues—ripping the law firm apart, forcing everyone to take sides and turning friend against friend.

One of my favourite authors delivers yet another cracking story featuring Mary DiNunzio and Bennie Rosato, partners in a law firm. The premise is pretty simple - see above - but the strength of these stories are the characters of Mary and Bennie. I have been following these two for a number of years now and to watch the grow and develop as friend, lawyers and people has been good fun. Sure, they have had their ups and downs (never more than in this novel) but they are such strong characters they can get through anything.

The plot, too, is one of the strongest ones Scottoline has put forward lately. While the story of a former employee taking on his ex-bosses doesn't sound like a very novel concept, the twists and turns really hooked me into the story - murder, sickness, lawsuits - it all adds up into an intriguing plot that carries itself very well. The antagonism in the office, as well, between the partners has its own storyline and that is presented believably - anyone who has worked in a high-pressure office environment can probably understand what is going on here.

As with all her legal thrillers, I have no hesitation recommending them to those who like legal thrillers and are looking for something different.

Another great novel by Lisa was not disappointed at all with this story line. The book show oppositing side to the lawsuit of and friend. and the battle of wits that both sides House to try and get what they want. The characters storylines were somewhat shorter due maybe to the writer focused of the story of the case, but all in all a great read.

Exposed, an novel by Lisa Scottoline, is one that explores many issues involving family, loyalty, the law, and corporate injustice. I have read other books by Ms. Scottoline and have grown to love the characters. The author writes in a very easy to understand way and I read this novel in two days! I am looking forward to the next novel in this series. I do not think that you will be disappointed if you chose to read Exposed. It is another excellent suspense and mystery plot that also makes you think about family and loyalty. How far would you go to assist someone and what is the definition of family?

I would like to thank the publisher and net galley for allowing me to read this novel in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I have really enjoyed this series and was happy with the latest installment. Mary Nunzio is a character with a lot of grit, fierce loyalty, and determination. I love her big, complicated Italian family. This installment finds her battling a corporation which fired a family friend because the medical expenses for his terminally ill child are too high. When a key player is murdered, the friend (Simon) becomes the prime suspect and it's up to Mary to clear his name so he can be there for his daughter. The case pits Mary against her partner Bennie, who has connections to the parent company of the Simon's former employer, and forces both to make some hard choices.

This book delves with some relevant and complicated issued of our time, and does a good job. It also examines how two close friends deal with being on opposite sides, eventually coming together to work as a team to see justice done. The only thing I took issue with, is that sometimes it dove a little too deeply into the legal lingo, causing me to lose a bit of interest and speed read through those parts of the book. Other than that, it was another great page turner by Ms Scottoline.

I coudn't finish this book. I usually like Scottoline's work, but I just couldn't find any interest in a story about fighting over insurance. I read half the book and there was no suspense, no urgency. I was mad about the company being underhanded, but not enough to finish. Maybe there was a life and death struggle in there somewhere, but I couldn't be bothered to keep looking. Sorry.

This wasn't my favorite of Lisa Scottoline. I became disinterested with all the ethical talk between the two lawyers. Discussing the facts of the case over and over didn't help the story either. Just wasn't for me.

Exposed is number 5 in the series. I haven’t read the others, however, I have read plenty of Lisa Scottoline. I felt as though I just couldn’t get into this book. I don’t like reading about children being sick it hurt, so that’s probably it. This story is about a single father with a very sick daughter and has no health care coverage. They file a lawsuit against his employer. I felt as though there was a lot of scenes based around the “legal” matters., too much in my opinion. Would I récomend? Yes, absolutely. Lisa is a fantastic writer.

Exposed is the 5th installment in the Rosato and DeNunzio series by award-winning author Lisa Scottolini. Mary DiNunzio’s family, which includes her parent’s lifelong friends, wouldn’t hear of anyone except Mary representing Simon Pensiera, when he is fired wrongly by his company, and she is comfortable doing it. However, her partner, Bennie Rosato already represents the parent company and sees it as a conflict of interest. Mary’s ties with Pensiera are so close, that she may decide to leave the firm rather than send him to another attorney. Friend and friend – partner and partner are pitted against each other and the firm is in danger of going under since Mary and Bennie are strong willed and absolutely sure they are doing the right thing for themselves. The stakes are high, and both partners are in danger, since there is more to the cases than meets the eye, including intrigue, danger, and corruption.

Anyone familiar with Scottolini, knows that her characters are well-developed, and that she is an expert in telling a story and weaving in palpable suspense. This is also true in Exposed, and readers will be kept on edge throughout the novel. Readers will be able to see both sides of the picture, and will find themselves taking sides. The series is excellent, and those who haven’t read the previous novels will find themselves picking them up and having a Lisa Scottolini marathon.

Besides plenty of suspense, Scottolini has allowed her characters to exhibit human emotions similar to what most of us would experience if put in the same situations. Readers will be able to relate and will see the characters as real.

Anyone who is not familiar with this series is missing some excellent reading. Exposed is highly recommended.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

A decent instalment of Rosato & DiNunzio. I am finding myself not loving Scottoline's writing as much as I used to. They seem more predictable and bland but I still love the characters in this series and that for me makes it worth to read.

Lisa Scottoline has been one of my favorite authors since I picked up Everywhere That Mary Went as a paperback novel several years ago. Since that time, I've discovered her humor books as well as her stand alone novels and know that I can count on her for a great read no matter the genre. It's been sometime since I've read one of her series books so I was excited to delve back in.

Exposed has all the hallmarks of a great legal thriller. Of course, you have Bennie Rosato and Mary DuNunzio as your main characters. Mary quickly finds herself in a moral and legal dilemma when a childhood friend needs her help to pursue a case against his employer for improper termination and after she agrees to take the case, she finds out that Bennie represents the parent company. Is this an ethical conflict and how will Bennie and Mary work this out? They barely have time to consider this problem before the case takes an unexpected turn. This is just the tip of the iceberg in this fast paced legal thriller that will keep you reading long into the night.

While Exposed is part of a series, I enjoyed reading the book independently, but be warned, you may want to rush out to the book store or load up your kindle with any of the titles you have missed.
