Cassie Edwards always brings the wild west and frontier life right to your door! Strong Heart and Elizabeth are instantly attracted to each other but their journey won't be an easy one. This story takes you from Seattle, through the wilderness, and shows the trials and prejudice Elizabeth and Strong Heart must experience before their happily ever after can be found. The reality is, they are from very different backgrounds and must learn how to live between the two worlds. I've read many Cassie Edwards tales of romance and this one didn't let me down!

As always, I am giving an honest review for this ARC. I wish that I could be more positive in this review but I am afraid I can't. I have read and enjoyed Cassie Edwards stories before but I just found this one to be slow and tedious without passion. This is only my opinion and you may find it more to your liking.

Wild Embrace By Cassie Edwards does what it says on the tin, it's a romantic, flowery romance with what is in my opinion not very bright characters.
Now this book left me rather nostalgic as I have read Many Miss Edwards and other authors like her in my younger days and I can honestly say at the time I really enjoyed them.
I suppose over the years my reading tastes have changed a bit.
which doesn't make this a bad book, just something I have outgrown.
So to summarise we have flame-haired Elizabeth Easton who moves to Seattle with her father from san-Francisco here she meets the Indian Brave, Strong Heart of the Suquamish people.
After Elizabeth is taken captive by Strong-heart the two fall for each other rather quickly in my opinion.
Now there is a lot of side stories going on to try to keep this interesting, but I felt this were just background noise and there was too much occurring, it seemed to be disaster after disaster.
Some of the decisions our two lovers make are just plain idiotic and I found myself shaking my head at the sheer stupidity of some of their actions.
Anyway, it all comes down to taste if you like your romance soppy with dramatic declarations of love then Wild Embrace is just the book for you.
If you like something a bit more gritty then give it a pass.
This was an ok read that I probably would have appreciated more a few years back.
Lastly just would like to say the book cover for this novel is superb, really caught my eye.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a free readers copy of Wild Embrace By Cassie Edwards. This is my own personal opinion of this novel.

I love romance. I really do and I even lost instant love and attraction but it didn't work in this novel. I love the cover. I love the title. I love the author. But that was it.
Our not-so-smart heroine, Elizabeth Easton did a lot of things that had me shaking my head. Strong Heart was able to spot her so many times and was skilled but couldn't find his grandfather.
The love between these two after short encounters had me rolling my eyes. It was disappointing.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC!

I was given a free digital ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you've read Cassie Edwards novels, you'll enjoy this book. It's a reissue of a novel from years ago. It has it's twists and turns with romance and spice woven into it. Ms. Edwards is able to create a nice picture of the setting while continuing with the story. Her novels do not have pages of descriptions, but little bits of description mixed into the story. Although I know this is a romance novel, it seemed like the intimate part of the book came up fairly quickly. It was the only real issue I had with the novel, but in no way wanted to make me not finish the book. Strong Heart and Elizabeth were two traditional Historical Romance characters that brought a few hours of enjoyment.
