This is the first book that I read by this author. It dragged me in and I loved every minute. A wonderful uplifting, Christian romance.

It showed Sam's struggle with trust. Not only did she have to learn to trust Noah, but also God. It showed , that even when someone is a Christian, they can still fall into the trap of hasty conclusions and not giving the other person the chance to explain. It showed the human side of all the characters.

I have to admit that the murderer caught me by surprise. I will place Mary L. Ball on my to be read list.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with the opportunity to read and review this book.

Sam lived in Atlanta and always considered herself a city girl. That is until she received an Inn in Big Fork Lake, Alabama from a guy who had made an impact in her life even though she only saw him once a year. She didn't even know that much about him except that he was a good man who believed in God and had a great deal of faith. When Bo died, he left his home/inn to Sam in his will with the stipulation that she had to stay there for a year and then she could sell it if she wanted to. She was certain that she would be long gone after a year and heading back to the city.

She met a lot of wonderful people in Big Fork Lake. One of those was Noah Frye. There was an instant attraction between them. But she wasn't planning to stay in a small town.

There was some drama, suspense, even a murder to solve. It was a clean romance that had a definite Christian vibe.

I enjoyed this story but there were enough grammatical errors that it was distracting. I would suggest re-editing the book.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
