I received this arc from Netgalley for an honest review. I requested all three books in this series because it seemed like a slam dunk, but I just could not get into this book. I'm not sure why I couldn't' connect with Vera and I simply didn't care where the story went because of it. I wasn't; able to get into book one, book two and three weren't really an option.

I'm actually really happy with the way this ended. Haynes managed to take a couple that I didn't think stood a chance and not only give them the opportunity to try, but made me think they would succeed. I'll definitely be reading more of Haynes in the future.

Another good read to end the story. I preferred the first half only because I'm not really into epilogue type stories where everything resolves and moves along at lightening speed and you know how everything is going to turn out. But all in all this little series is very good with well devolped characters and a good story line
