In Jodi style this book was everything. I loved it.

While it was so fun to catch up on Jesse and Ava's lives, that's not what this story is about. It's all about Drew this time around. I felt his story fell a little flat because there just wasn't enough to it. It's a complete story and Raya is a great match for Drew. I just wish there was more to their story. It felt a little rushed to me. I waited a long time for Drew's story so maybe my expectations were too high. All in all I'm certainly not disappointed in the book.

I will say the author is a brilliant writer, especially with such a raw subject.

REVIEW: 4 STARS
"Because if you don't have anyone, you can't lose anyone."

JODI ELLEN MALPAS is easily one of the FIRST authors I ever followed on Facebook. After I read her This Man Trilogy, I knew that I wanted to read about more arsehole alpha men that fought for their women. Yes, he was nuts, but I really enjoyed the story and Jesse became one of my favorite book boyfriends, in turn, making JEM one of my go-to authors.

This novella is about Drew, one of Jesse's best friends from her original trilogy, but you do NOT need to read that trilogy in order to understand this story. There is some visiting of Jesse and Ava, but nothing is given away at all. And if you DID read it, then you will remember the nasty bitch Coral. Well, if you hated her in the trilogy, you're going to doubly hate her in this one -- I can guarantee it. Her spiteful nastiness hasn't changed AT ALL. She is the antagonist you will most definitely hate....but it's balanced out by Drew, and Georgia. We love Drew and Georgia. With this book coming out on Father's Day, it was the perfect tribute to Drew as an amazing father.

For being a quickie (I crack myself up), this was a hot little wonder and it reminded me of the love I have for JEM's storytelling. Drew's inability to accept that he actually has a heart with real feelings makes this all the more fun to read. I love seeing a hard-ass being brought to his knees by an unexpected woman....one that has the ability to make them lose their minds. If told right, the fall with them is the best part of the book.

"Raya has a power over me that's dictated a war between my sensible head and my closed heart."

This was short, so I can't say too much, but this was a great book to catch-up with some of the characters from the trilogy and I am so glad I read it. This was a great single POV jaunt through Drew's attempts to purge some feeling's he's not sure how to handle. Definitely worth the read.

"Jesus Christ, this woman could be my downfall. Could make me forget who I am. All I am."

I have read some of the books in this series, but not all. They are not necessary to like this story. I think it took about 30 minutes to read, so there wasn't a lot of emotional depth or back story to explore, but it was a fun little book.

As you know, All I Am is the story of Drew, we met Drew before in This Man trilogy, he is one of the best mates of Jesse. This book can be read as standalone as we get in this book all he went through before. Even when I think we got more of his personality in the last series.

Drew is a respectable business man that is devoted to his little girl, in his free time he like to go to The Hux. There is where he feels like himself. And when he meets Raya he feels time is catching up with him.

"I'm forty this year, and I was content with all I am, what I have, where I was heading, until an intriguing young woman turned up at Hux and ground that all to shit"

Raya is looking for an escape at The Hux and that how she finds Drew.

Both of them have secrets that they feel need to be hidden from each other until they can not run from them anymore.

I loved Drew's story.... I laughed and enjoyed every interaction between Drew and his mates.
"I cannot believe I'm taking advice on women from these two chumps. They are the worst example of how to get the woman you want"
If you have read This Man trilogy you will understand ❤

And Drew with his daughter is everything! (She is a sweet little thing) .... Enjoyed the heartbreaking parts where both of them faced their demons, specially Raya and how all worked out for them.

The story contains a little of BDSM, nothing annoying and just a little of spice in the story.

Jodi Ellen Malpas certainly does know how to write a romance novel/novella. While the book is short, there is no shortage of steamy scenes. The scenes range from sensual to raw and passionate. Each one amazing in its own.

For the story, that for me was a little hard to get into. I did like the character of Drew but I couldn't get into the character of Raya. I liked that Drew is a father and I am a sucker for a DILF. To me she was confusing because she went back and forth with Drew and I couldn't tell what was heads or tails with her. Same with Drew. He was completely infatuated with her just after one encounter. I can understand the interest but not the instant love.

Overall, I did enjoy the story for what it is. I liked the romance/erotic part of it and if you read the story for that purpose you will be satisfied. If you are looking for a big, complex storyline you may not get that here.

I enjoyed All I Am, Drew and Raya's story was intense, sensual, erotic, hot and sexy. There were so many great moments through the story that once I start it I couldn't put it down!

Plus it made me want to revisit the whole "This Man" series and all of the magic that is Jesse Ward!!

I am beyond obsessed with any Jesse Ward, so when I heard that there was going to be a novella set in the This Man world I was ecstatic!! I had to go back and reread before reading this. Okay well I didn't HAVE to...

I loved this novella. It packed quite a bit in for a shorter story and I really enjoyed reading about Drew. I would absolutely loved to read a full novel for him.

I am not going into any storyline, I will just say that if you love Jodi and her This Man series, you need to pick up this book. You will not be able to put it down.

First and foremost I need to applaud JEM for providing a fabulous means of preparing us for her next book: The Forbidden. Just the brief mention of Annie and her lack of “sizzles” has me very intrigued but this wasn’t the only component of the story that caught my attention…

Drew. He was a man who didn’t want complications. After what his baby mama did to him, I couldn’t blame him. I understood why a sex club such as Hux was his forte. Raya. A woman who was looking for an escape and literally lands bent over squirming beneath him. It was supposed to be one emotionless tryst but her indifference, her mystery captured him.

You could tell from that very first encounter how things were different – that even how unconventional their first meeting was that they were somehow deeply connected. It’s impressive really how JEM was able to portray those feelings in such a short story.

What was also great was how she was able to embed the secondary characters and further enhance Drew and Raya’s affair. Jesse, Sam, and most especially adorable Georgia made the story come to life.

They mention that this book could be read as a standalone and it definitely can be but for me… it makes me want to go back and reread this fantastic series all over again. Thank you, Jodi Ellen Malpas for bringing it all back in such an exquisite way.

All I Am is the fourth book in the This Man series. It is listed as a standalone but the storyline does make more sense to have read the previous books.

In All I Am we get Drew's story. Drew is Jesse's best friend. He's the ultimate playboy. He doesn't do relationships, he's not about commitments. All he wants is to blow off steam when he needs to at Hux, a new club he's a member of since Jesse's closing of the Manor. When he's requested by a new member she only wants two things, to forget and someone cold. Drew fits the description perfectly. Can he be the man Raya needs?

Raya isn't what he expects. She's young and gorgeous but almost a bit lost. She needs the release but without strings or questions. She needs to forget what's going on in her life even if it's just for a little while. Drew is everything she needs, but is he expecting more than she's willing to offer?

This Man, the story, that world, and its characters, regardless of time, have stuck with me. I am glad to see we get to revisit it, even if only for a short while.

I loved everything about the This Man Trilogy and couldn't wait to get my hands on this gem. Although this is Drew's story, we do get a little bit of Jesse and Ava. And I was not disappointed at all.

Drew was a mystery to me because the series was more about Jesse and Ava and we only got little tidbits of Drew. Well hang on because you will learn more and understand him more in this novella. While Drew doesn't do relationships, he is comfortable with his life. Going to Hux, the local sex club since Jesse no longer has the Manor. He goes there to let off steam and that helps him relax. And he isn't looking for anything more. Until he is handed a piece of paper with a name and phone number on it.

Raya only had two requests, to forget for a while and someone that is cold and not emotional. And Drew fits the bill. But when they meet, the sparks fly and they are drawn to each other. But they don't want to be attracted to each other.

Can Drew give Raya what she needs without losing his heart? What happens when Raya learns about his secret? Can they move past the pain of the past and make a future together?

I love this book and hope you enjoy it too.

This is a fabulous little read which brought back memories of earlier days and the lovely This Man trilogy. It is also Jesse's chance for a little bit of friendly payback to Drew, who does not believe in love.

The blurb tells you enough of the storyline that I would not to wish to reveal any more – but I would like to say that I romped through it and felt it to be the very best type of romcom, with a side serving of chains in a couple of club visits. Throw in some wonderful moments of men giving advice over drinks, some madness and mayhem when following said advice, and the wisdom of a 7-year-old, and you can see that there is a lot packed into this short story.

I am now very keen to see what Ms. Malpas's new stand-alone novel is like, having got straight back into her easy writing style... but will have to wait until August.

M/F Romance

Drew is still a playboy at heart. Despite his past, he's pushing 40 and still single. While his friends have all found their happily ever after, he's still struggling to trust. Given his past, I can see why. I loved his daughter though. Even though Cora is horrible and gross, Georgia is sweet, funny, and innocent. I love that she wants her dad to be happy.

Raya is hurting. She is reeling from a few life changing events and just wants to be taken out of her own head. She is given a name, Drew's. She meets and instantly, you can feel the chemistry jump off the page. While she wants a no-strings-attached arrangement, I'm not so sure she was cut out for that.

What ensues is short, but developed, an intense and emotional journey. Can Drew and Raya take the leap and find what they've been looking for in each other? I liked that you also were able to see a glimpse of the still domineering Jesse too.

Mara's Review
Book: All I Am: Drew's Story
Author: Jodi Ellen Malpas
Series: A This Man Novella
Genre: Erotica Romance
Release Date: June 18, 2017
Stars: 4
I totally loved Jesse and Ava's story in the This Man series!! So, when I saw that Jodi Ellen Malpas was dropping a This Man Novella about his friend Drew Davies (39), I just knew I had to get my grubby little hands on it. I was expecting Drew to be more crazy, like Jesse, but he wasn't and I think it was in part because unlike Jesse, Drew is a single father. His life revolves around Georgia, his daughter that was a product of her mother's, Coral, scheming to get Jesse from Ava. Crazy, huh? But he loves his daughter and she is the only woman that means something to him.
That is until he takes on Raya Rivers (24) in a no-strings encounter at Hux, a place Drew goes to hookup and play. This encounter is not like Drew's previous one's because Raya at Hux to forget something/someone and for the first time Drew cares to know more, wants to know more about Raya. Unfortunately, Drew isn't only going to see Raya at His, but at his job because she wants to sell her house using his real estate firm.
If you were a fan of the This Man series, I implore you to read Drew's story.

When I think of Jodi Ellen Malpas, I automatically think to her This Man series. It’s one that sticks out in my mind for a few of reasons, but namely the one and only Lord of the Manor, Jesse Ward. By default anything with a mere association to the series has my interest, so of course I was only too happy revisit the gang.

Without giving away too much of what we already know about Drew, we understand his justification for the way in which he is guarded. He chooses a lifestyle where his intimacies are purely carnal and take place at a BDSM club. It’s the last place he would look to find a meaningful relationship, but we all know what happens when you least expect something.

Like Drew, Raya is looking for release without attachments. More mysterious in reasons, Drew tells himself it’s not his place or within his interests to discover them. She’s a means to an end until he’s consumed with thoughts of beginning a life with her in it.

A wonderful highlight to this novella was the welcomed addition of Jesse and Sam. In addition to the conflict and drama they brought some real loud out moments, not too mention “awws” from Drew’s young daughter.

ALL I AM nicely set up the story from Jodi and all eyes are on THE FORBIDDEN which releases in August.

All I Am was fantastic. I so needed Drew's story!!! I have always wondered what happened to Drew in the "aftermath" of This Man. He is now happily a father to 7 year old Georgia. He is also still a commitment-phobe with a penchant for dominance and sex clubs. Enter Raya, a sexy woman hell-bent on forgetting about her life with unfeeling sex.

All I Am was a short, impactful read that left me breathless. I adored being able to spend more time with "The Lord" - I so needed a Jesse fix. Definitely a must read for This Man Fans!

This was an entertaining, sizzling hot read! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Drew and Raya had a crazy relationship and I loved watching Drew getting all worked up for her. It made for some really fun scenes. It's all from his POV which was awesome. Drew and Raya have serious chemistry and I enjoyed them coming together, it was hot and sweet. There's a bit of drama, a lot of heat, and a lot of turmoil while Drew gets his head on straight.

I loved Drew! So dedicated to his daughter and I totally got his struggle. I liked Raya but I felt she was hard to read and slightly closed off. I loved it when she finally opened up. I loved Drew with Sam and Jesse, any scene that had any of them together had me smiling big time.

Great overall storyline, it was laid out well. It's was a fast paced read with an equally as fast timeline but I just went with it even though it was all very instant. There’s also a crack pot of a baby mama thrown into the mix and that added a nice amount of tension. Drew’s daughter is adorable, she was a sweet addition.

Super fast but really fun read and it was ultra hot too! It might have been a fast timeline but overall it was a great little read and I nice edition to the This Man series.

Wowza! I have always wanted more of Drew. He was mysterious to me. And here in his short story I find out why and so much more. It was great! This just makes me love him even more. Although it was a novella and shorter it still packed a heavy punch. The details were there. No holes in the story. The flow was great.

Raya is all about forgetting the past and enjoying some pleasure. She wants no feelings, no attachments, no drama. She gets it, and then some with Drew. She didn’t expect him to be everything she never knew she wanted in one package. Only his secrets are deep. Will she accept them? Can she accept all the baggage he has?

Drew has never wanted to settle. NEVER. His daughter and work are everything. Only he gets knocked on his ass with Raya and the boys enjoy this immensely. I had lots of giggles at their banter. Drew is completely baffled at his feelings. Question is…. What will he do?

This was a great hot little read. Drew is THE MAN! I love him and Raya. Get ready for an action packed little read.

Let me start off this review by saying that I haven’t read the This Man series-yes I have heard of Jesse Ward but have not read him. So I came into this book not fully knowing the characters but that didn’t hinder how much I did or did not like this story. Overall, this was a pleasant read. Drew had certain expectations for his life. And he had no problem living the way he saw fit but all that changed when he met Raya. His thought processes started thinking more. Raya appealed to him on such an intimate level and it was a shock to them both since it was not what they initially wanted. I enjoyed seeing the progression of their relationship. Both Raya and Drew were nice characters. They were good together and I liked reading how they enacted change in one another. I also loved the way Drew was with his daughter-it was so sweet. Not only was this a sweet read but also very sexy. Whoa these two together was sizzling. I liked it. Overall, it was an engaging and fine novella.

Absolutely, love this series. Great addition to the series. Drew Davies is just as hot as Jessie and Sam.

As always, great things happen to you when you least expect them. This is the case for Drew and Raya. Each has a past that is holding them back from what they truly want but know they want it. An arrangement that will test both Drew & Raya's limits and force them to cave to their desires and true feelings for one another.
