"She wants cold and emotionless. You can’t get any more emotionless and detached than me."

I'm not typically a fan of novellas because I find it's difficult to pack much depth into so few words. But Jodi Ellen Malpas certainly delivers an entertaining, deliciously sexy storyline that is both emotional and sensual in this quick read. I was both thrilled and surprised by how sweet and romantic All I Am was. Drew and Reya are both closed off, both chained by their own stubborn determination to never let anyone in. So a sexual arrangement without any emotional attachment should be simple. All I Am follows Drew and Reya through their sexual yet complicated course that's layered with reluctant attraction and fierce chemistry but peppered with moments of lightness and humour courtesy of our very own Jesse Ward.

I enjoyed this quick story so much. Jodi Ellen Malpas has such a distinct voice, I fell right back in love with her words when I began reading. Not only is All I Am a solid package wrapped up in a quick, delicious little novella, but it also took me back in time to when I first read Jesse and Ava's story, making me nostalgic for that difficult man and his deliciously infuriating quirks. Drew and Reya's story in All I Am is refreshing, full of romance, angst, conflict, steamy sex, and friendship. I was infuriated at times, smiling through others, but always rapt, always invested in this man and the woman he wasn't supposed to want. For fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas and Jesse Ward, this is a decadent little treat that'll remind you of why you fell in love with both of them in the first place while demanding you fall for Drew in a way you never have.

All I Am: Drew’s Story (This Man #3.5)
By: Josi Ellen Malpas

Well my goodness!!! What a steamy little novella I’ve just finished reading.

Drew is reaching 40 and what besides Hux and Georgia does he have in his life? Hearing his 2 best friends constantly talk about how their lives are so much better now that they’ve found the love of their life…leaves an empty feeling with Drew… Is he missing something?

Raya is looking for cold, emotionless, and filthy. Nothing else.

This was a great little story to give us the insight we all needed about Drew. It was an added bonus to get little tidbits of what my man Jesse is up to these days…

Jodi Ellen Malpas returns to the This Man universe, to give us Drew Davies’ story, one of Jesse Ward’s friends in the original three books, it was good to catch up with this group of characters again.

Nothing massively new or unusual about the plot to be honest with you, two people looking for uncomplicated sex, come together for some commitment-free sexy-times at Hux sex club, but after that initial meeting both of them realize that they have more of a connection than just sex.

I can do cold, emotionless, and filthy. With little effort. Actually with no effort…

Although Drew being a Daddy, gave it an added emotional element, and i really liked Reya's strength of character. And the added man-chat when Jesse and Sam were involved in things added to the overall entertainment factor.

"What are you scared of, Drew..?"
"You."

Saying to much more would pretty much give the whole novella away, so I will leave it at that. The author delivered a well written story, it was absolutely fantastic to catch up with Jesse, Ava and the rest of the Manor crew, if like me you loved the original series, you will love this little return, I certainly did.

I met Drew, when he was a friend of Jesse . The #LordOfTheManor. His suave and style won me over. And now we meet him again here . He's every bit dreamy sexy now, as he was 8 years ago. What a fantastic story and what sizzling sexual chemistry between Drew and Raya. They can't be in the same room without kissing passionately or having soul stirring sex.....bound by chains and blindfolded too.
I read it in one sitting !!.

Drew Davies is a 39 yr. old gorgeous single man living in London. He's built one of the most competitive estate agencies in the city & had a passion for his work. He doesn't have much free time outside of the office & spending time with his daughter. He doesn't date, & since his best friend Jesse sold the Manor, he's been forced to find a new place to play & let off some steam. He now frequents the Hux sex club to fulfill his needs. This lifestyle suits him. He's all about decadent fantasy with no strings pleasure. He likes easy with no commitments, expectations, or drama. Just raw, carnal sexual experiences. Hux is relaxing & it's what he likes. He was burned in the past, & as a result isn't trusting of women. The only female he's ever committed to is his 7 yr. old daughter. Georgia is his world, & he reserves all his emotions for her.

One evening Drew is introduced to a woman named Raya who has certain requests at the club. She specifically asks for someone cold, emotionless & filthy, & you can't get any more emotionless & detached than Drew. She's told about Drew, but is shocked by how good looking he is when she meets him. She's extremely attracted to him, but wants a night to forget with no risk of feelings. He's come highly recommended, & she's ready to see all her deepest desires come to life.

When Drew lays eyes on the stunning Raya he's intrigued by the newbie. He quickly realizes he's going to thoroughly enjoy fulfilling her requests. Once he touches her, he soon figures out there is something different about her. It's electric between them. He's so lost in the moment with her & he finds himself wanting to know her story. She's beautiful, but there's a sadness about her. She's a mystery he wants to solve.

Suddenly Drew's having feelings of possession that are unsettling. Raya's become a complication he doesn't need, but he can't control how badly he wants her. He was content with his life until this incredible woman. They both feel a strong connection they can't deny.

Raya was t supposed to get attached to Drew. It was sex and nothing more. Now she is falling for Drew & wondering if they could be more.

This was a sexy fun novella that takes us back to the This Man series. It's about Jesse's friend Drew, but we also get some scenes with all the gang. It was a super sexy fabulous read!

I love Jodi Ellen Malpas (JEM) THIS MAN trilogy, so when I knew we will have Drew's story I was BEYOND excited! It’s always gratifying to read JEM’s books, her lovely and flawless writing makes her a MUST READ author for me. Even though this was just a novella, it has all the ingredients necessary in a romance: hotness, sexiness and of course LOVE <3. In ALL I AM (THIS MAN #3.5), we have glimpses of our "Lord of the Manor", Jesse, Ava, Sam and also Kate, but what I really love is that as happy as I was for seeing more of them, JEM gives the chance to meet this amazing, caring, sexy DILF named Drew Davies. #swoon

This book starts 8 years after the last book, THIS MAN CONFESSED (This Man, #3). Drew Davies is still single and almost 40 years old, he doesn’t date, neither does he do relationships. He doesn’t trust women, well I take that back, he only trusts his 7 years old daughter, Georgia. When he has needs, he goes to HUX (a sex club similar to "The Manor"). He has filthy and emotionless sex. So when a mystery woman asks for someone cold, filthy and emotionless, he knew he was the right guy for the job.

After all that has happened to Raya Rivers, she wants to forget, at least for a moment, she wants to not think and HUX was the solution for her, but she didn’t expect to find this gorgeous man who make her FEEL again, yes he also made her forget all as her wish but now she can’t stop thinking about him. He makes her want to feel alive again.

Drew can’t believe this woman makes him question himself. The reactions he has with her aren’t normal, not for him. He can’t stop feeling things and he doesn’t like them either. He has just one thing to focus on in his life, his daughter Georgia. And that can't change, but Raya makes him want something he hasn't wanted for a long time.

Drew and Raya had a strong connection that first night at HUX, both can’t deny it, but both are afraid to feel all these feelings, both are hurt and it’s hard for them to trust again. They will have to work things out if they want to have something together.

I REALLY LOVED to read this story! Drew and of course his daughter, Georgia stole my heart. #DILF. And while reading, I didn’t realize how much I missed Jesse and Ava (THIS MAN series) until I got more of their story. If you are a JEM’S fan, you will LOVE this book, it’s like going back to a place you love so much, being back with characters you cherish the most. If you are a fan of THIS MAN trilogy you MUST read this, you won’t be disappointed.

When Jodi announced that the one and only Drew from the This Man Trilogy was getting his own story, I screamed and jumped around the room in joy! When Jesse, Ava, and Sam made an appearance it made this novella so much more special.

Drew has simple rules get in and get out. No strings attached. And definitely never fall in love.
He keeps a tight set of friends, life is pretty good. But his walls all but tumble down when he meets Raya...

They both have secrets that they would rather stay buried, but Drew and Raya have something that neither of them expected..... love.

I devoured this story, very cute, and a whole lot of sexy. ;)

Another explosive story from the amazing This Man series.

It’s a while since I’ve read the "This Man" series and I had to remember who Drew was before reading this book. I needn’t have worried though, Drew more than made up for any lack of recognition by the impact his makes in this story right from the very beginning.

Still missing the fun times experienced at The Manor, Drew is a member of Hux and despite Jesse and Sam trying to persuade him that it’s time to settle down, he’s still only after one thing from life, and that’s to keep exploring his dominant tendencies without ties. Despite getting what he want’s from Hux, he’s still not satisfied and in part accepts that he does have something missing in his life but he’s clear in his mind that he doesn’t want a relationship, or does he?

Raya is the woman set to turn Drew’s world upside down. A new member of Hux, she’s only looking for detached, emotionless liaisons and Drew is the exactly the right man for the job. After a first meeting though, it becomes quickly apparent to both Drew and Raya that they share a spark but with them both determined to keep the other at arm's length, they look set to live their lives in isolation from each other. When an opportunity arises that pushes Raya and her personal life into Drew’s path however, Drew starts to question his outlook on life and wonders if maybe he will find what Jesse and Ava have together.

This story grabs from the first page and doesn’t let go until the end. The only downside was that this is only a novella; I could have devoured hours more from this delicious duo. As expected with JEM, the writing is impeccable and despite the story’s brevity, it definitely leaves you feeling very satisfied.

Readers of the THIS MAN series will, I'm sure, snap this title up the second it's released and I'm equally sure that many will rave about it. It's always exciting to revisit characters you remember enjoying and seeing them years later. In the case of Drew's story, we not only get to see what he's up to but also Jesse and company.

I'm sure I'll be in the minority, but I had a harder time getting into the novella than I expected. Maybe it's that because it was shorter, Malpas didn't have the space needed to build up the characters and the plot, or maybe I just wasn't as connected to these characters as I wanted to be. At any rate, there were definite moments when I laughed and enjoyed this story and other parts that fell a little flat.

I do love J.E.M. and will chalk this one up to it's me and not her. I thank you for the opportunity to try this novella and look forward to more from Malpas in the future.

What an amazing story, packed full of so much emotion and drama. I really loved Drew, he was so complex and sexy. Raya was great, she was sweet and strong. Such a beautiful story about finding your one and only. It is very well written and even though it was a short story, it was just amazing!!

This was a very quick novella. It has been 3 years since I have read the This Man Series and totally forgot about Drew. I blame that on the fact that I've read so many books afterwards, but having revisited Drew, it all came back to me.

Although I loved that Ms. Malpas gave the readers a chance to revisit some old friends, and not to sound too greedy, but I would have loved if she had extended Drew's story to a full length. Having said that, I enjoyed this short story. It was steamy/hot in all the right places.

I loved how Raya really brought out the caveman out of Drew and took him out of his comfort zone. I was so happy to see Sam and Jesse and of course Ava make an appearance.

Overall, a good enjoyable short read.

I am a HUGE fan of all things Jesse Ward and his This Man series, so when I heard a novella of one of his good pal’s Drew was coming out, I read it straight away. I only remembered a bit of Drew from Jesse’s books, but I loved getting to know him. And of course, seeing more of my Lord of the Manor!

Drew is pushing forty and the only guy in his group of friends who’s still single. He doesn’t do relationships. He has many reasons, but the most important is his daughter. Drew gets all he needs from Hux (a club similar to the Manor). One night at the club, he meets Raya. Raya is younger than him, and she’s looking for something particular. Someone cold, emotionless, and filthy. Drew can be all those things during sex.

The problem, when these two have sex, there is a spark. And it’s hard to be unfeeling when a spark is there. Raya is mysterious and Drew doesn’t know much about her life. Raya has no clue Drew is a father. I just sat there… waiting for all this to unfold and see how it would turn out. I wanted these two together despite all the odds. You could truly feel their connection, and after all Drew has been through, he deserves to fall in love with someone worthy.

I really did enjoy Drew and Raya’s story, but nothing made me quite as happy as seeing my very own Jesse Ward. He had a many of scenes throughout this novella and it made my heart so happy. Jesse is still… well, Jesse. And I couldn’t love him more.

All I Am was a short read, but it had a lot of story within such few pages. It was hella sexy and even a tad emotional. I adored Drew, Raya, and little Georgia. Highly recommend this one to all fans of JEM’s This Man series. You won’t be disappointed!

I really love Jodi writing, I wish the book would've released closed to when This Man Confessed. I have forgotten some of the characters. This reminded me how much I miss the crew.

Unfortunately this book just wasn't for me. Thank you for approving All I Am for me, I hope one of Jodi's books will work for me in the future!

HOLY EFFing CRAP!! All I Am is INTENSELY HOT! I am so glad the author decided to write this novella so we have the opportunity to get to know Drew and his story. Just be prepared, you will fall in love with Drew and the one reason why his guard is up is panty-melting. Is wrong for me to think or feel that, but shit – just keeping it real over here!

Let’s not forget, All I Am is a This Man novella to begin with so yeah… we totally get more of Jesse, our Lord of the Manor… as if we will ever get enough of THE LORD, like ever. By the way, I picked up a jar of peanut butter at the market this morning and I didn’t even need it YET. HA! OooOoOO, and remember Sam? We get a taste of him in this short gem as well. Hey Jodi – think you can give Sam a story as well? I mean, I am SURE I am not asking for too much – it’s not like I am known to be greedy or anything.

Lord of the Manor fans, you will definitely enjoy All I Am – don’t miss it!!

It was great to read Drew’s story - he had me interested in him in the This Man Series.

This was a short and sweet insta on all levels story!

Drew, the forever bachelor who wanted nothing to do with women except to fuck, found himself in a bit of a pickle. Raya swore off all men except for the ones that can be cold and disconnected to fuck her.

Welcome to Drew’s new hangout to get his fill now that The Manor is no more, Hux. Raya is new to the lifestyle and has gone to Hux to get the release she needs. Bonus to getting “assigned” to Drew, chains and piercings!

They were both blindsided. Feelings arise and confuse the both of them. Will they, won't they?

Two bonuses to this insta on all levels story, is seeing Drew with his daughter and we got a glimpse of The Lord himself.

If you want to get a small fix of the This Man Series and a filler between your last and next book, look no further!

Overall I found the story be good. A few minor flaws but doesn't take away from the story.

"Jesus Christ, this woman could be my downfall. Could make me forget who I am. All I am."

I enjoyed All I Am, Drew and Raya's story was intense, sensual, erotic, hot and sexy. There were so many great moments through the story that once I start it I couldn't put it down!

"Jesus, this woman is stimulating a curiosity in me that's waging a war in my head."
Drew and Raya have an amazing chemistry. You could feel their attraction for each other.Even though at the beginning Drew is a little bit guarded due to the fact that he has a daughter. But when these two were together you can feel their sexual tension.

I loved the plot, the writing is so beautiful and flawless, seriously I wish I could have more of Drew and Raya!

3.5 Stars!

Goodnesssss! That was hawt! Of course, I would have expected nothing less coming from this series.

Raya wants “slam bam thank you, ma’am”! She wants it dirty with no commitments, no emotional involvement and certainly detachment free. Where better to find this than at the Hux club. Surely there are men there who will satisfy her desires, leave her breathless and then leave her alone. There isn’t a better candidate than the commitment-phobe himself, Drew Davies. He likes his to be in charge, he likes his sex kinky and he wants to leave it all at the club. A perfect match, right? Yes, they are. Raya gets under his skin while he tries to get under hers. Does the handsome bachelor stand a chance against the closed off, beautiful bachelorette?

I really enjoyed the vast majority of this book. And really, only minor details kept me from rating this higher. For instance, there is an issue with the daughter which felt contrived for the sake of drama and the ending was wrapped up too quickly and conveniently. This tends to be an issue for Novellas, trying to get a complete story with such few words. I would have loved for this to have been a full-length novel.

I enjoy the easy flow of Malpas’s writing. I’m always engaged in her stories and interested in her characters. Having read this series 4 years ago (how is that possible), revisiting the gang was like coming home. (Jesse’s cameo was hilarious.)

This was a very quick read, as in an afternoon, but I loved being back in the This Man series. Jesse, Ava and Sam make appearances and I love them just as much now as I did back when I first read the series.

Drew is a simple man, sex without strings, no attachments, loves his daughter fiercely and keeps his circle of friends tight. Until he meets Raya. She has him coming undone in a matter of minutes.

Both Drew and Raya have secrets, things they would like to leave in the past. However, the attraction and chemistry between the two is off the charts HOT. But with skeletons in both of their closets and a baby mama gone crazy, can Drew and Raya really make it work?

This book was a roller coaster of emotions and I enjoyed every moment!
