A beautiful heroine + 2 handsome heros + a dead body + ongoing litigation = humorous cozy mystery with romance.
The author J L Wilson has a great book with potpourri of characters who are both interesting an dramatic. There are clues along the way to help guess the identity, but the path to finding the killer is more interesting. There are enough twists and drama to keep a reader entertained till the very end... And of course the romance was an added bonus to this cozy mystery

A wonderful written cozy mystery with unexpected twists and turns that will catch you by surprise...not all appears as it seems. The cast of characters is first rate, the humor is interlaced with perfect timing to counteract the seriousness of the drama. You can't help but sit down and enjoy a first rate.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Intriguing mystery along with a romantic triangle. Surprising ending. More sexual details than I care to read, but the rest of the story kept me turning the pages. I like the age range of the main characters.

Cassie gets mixed up in an interesting mystery in this cozy. It is a bit different, having Cassie working in flowers and landscaping, when she discovers the dead body of a known landscaper. To complicate matters, a disputed inheritance from a distant relative makes her life more troubling. Likewise, Cassie has an ex-husband, with whom she remains friends (and who still loves her), which is different, and she uses his assistance to delve into and ferret clues out to discover what exactly is going on. Finally, there is the intrigue of a new career, a new boss who seems to want to be more and of his ex-wife. The characters are interesting and pretty well done. The plot is a bit different, though not too far out. This is the start of a good cozy mystery series, with a lot to offer, the start of what appears to be a great new series, which I will look fir after reading this first installment. It can provide a welcome break during summer vacation and beach months for anyone who enjoys cozies. I received this from NetGalley to read and review.

An easy summer read, slthough I thought too much emphasis was put on the description of the plants and layout of the greenhouse snd nursery which made you lose track of the nsin story.
Appears to have a lot if things going on at the ssme time which got the reader a bit confused at times i.e. murder in the greenhouse,a mugger on the lose,a court case about inheritence, keeping her job, romantic issues. There was too much to take in all at the same time I know the writter used this approach to keep the reader in suspence but in this case less is more.
After saying all that it is a nice book to read on holiday by the pool.

An interesting murder mystery for the most part, but too many exs running around, got me confused at times trying to keep track of who was who. Using plants to kill, and descriptions of the plants too was interesting, and for the most part a fun book. Would recommend for a light summer read.
