Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Didn't do it for me...very quick and not as much heart as I hoped.

A sinfully enjoyable read. The characters are well written and the storyline was developed. And don't be surprised if you're left fanning yourself while reading it...

Charlie Ward is a womanizer football player, the top quarterback and has gotten injured. He goes back to his home town to recover. There is supposed to listen to his Doctor Dylan Rose, who is a top sports medicine doctor, she is also beautiful and left Houston because she was tired of men telling her what to do. Charlie, of course, is attracted to her and does the opposite and does not listen to her and actually injuries his knee worse. Though this book was a very quick read and there were parts that I liked, the premise of her leaving Houston to get away from controlling men just doesn’t work because Charlie controls everything from their first meeting. She tried to remain tough but it was like she gave up too soon with all of the wants that he was putting on. She was not as tough as she was made out to be and Charlie came across as a big jerk who she actually was trying to save his image not worrying about her own. Thought it could have been a better story. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 3 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com

Sadly I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as the first one. Charlie was an arrogant idiot & Dylan seemed to lose her feistiness. Not sure I will read more in this series

I really wanted to like Healing The Quarterback, I really did but sadly this one just didn't work for me. This author at times is very hit or miss and this one was a miss for me.

"Healing the Quarterback" is a quick read of Charlie, the hot, sexy quarterback, and his sports medicine doctor, equally hot and sexy Dylan. The story moves at a fast pace as Dylan treats Charlie's knee injury, which happens to be in his home town. They fall in love almost instantly and act on it on the football field, but get caught on camera. The story revolves around Charlie and Dylan, with only a quick mention of others in the story. I am in agreement with others that I did like the first one just a bit better. It seemed to have a bit more depth. If you want a fast afternoon fun hot read, then this is one to pick up. I would like to thank NetGalley and City Owl Press for gifting me "Healing the Quarterback". My opinion is my own. This is mine 3.25 Stars!

Charlie Wild is a quarterback with good looks and playboy life style but when he is injured he is back at his brother’s ranch to rehab. When he was faced with his rebab Dr. Dylan Rose, he is immediately wants to know more about her than just a doctor.
Dylan seen and hit on plenty with her looks so she decided to move her practice away from the big city life. When she faces Charlie again after her meeting at the stadium, she is pleasantly surprised.
Story is about Charlie’s rehab and Dylan helping him out. But story felt little short on Dylan part, she seems more desperate even though she knows Patient and doctor relationship is not encouraged. She predicts herself all the time..
I just wished Dylan was more stronger character than a Doctor who just falls for the obvious star athlete.
I did enjoy the first installment and this wasn’t as good as the first one.

A quick but entertaining sweet and sexy summer afternoon lounging in the sun and relaxing with a cold drink read.

Charlie Wild Star football player and all around alpha playboy is injured and back home to Wildhorse Rance to heal and rehab. Dr. Dylan Rose is a expert in sports medicine and leaving the big city to leave all the over-inflated egos of the athletic world. Sparks fly from the first crash into each other and continue to spark back home in the small town they both find themselves in. Loved every heart pounding moment.

Normally love Leslie North books, this one I just couldn't follow very well. She is one of my favorite authors and I will contiue to read her books, I have faith in her writing, this one fell short of the mark for me.

This is quite a bit different than the other North book I read, but it's equally as good. In fact, Leslie North is going on my list of authors that I "must read". Her characters are well-written and the plots, too.

I just love this book and author. Really like how you have alpha male but they never be too over the top in control in Lesile books/series. Also how the women are so strong and sassy and smart that the alpha male can't help falling for. Totally loved this series so far and totally recommend this book and all of Lesile north books. I've left a review on Amazon.uk

I enjoyed this book. Charlie behaved like I thought an injured quarterback would with his career in jeopardy as well as having his lifestyle questioned. Dylan is a doctor who seems to have a chip on her shoulder, one that Charlie would to knock off, preferably in her bed. Will these two figure out they can have it all or will their careers keep them apart?
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

Wow. I'm normally a huge fan but this book didn't do a thing for me. I hated Charlie and intensely disliked Dylan. I'm sad to say that neither the characters or their story held my interest. I actually checked twice to make sure the book was written by Leslie North. The dialogue was clunky, the storyline was awkward and not even a little bit likeable. I'm actually dumbfounded by the experience. I will of course always be a fan but just not of this book.

I loved this story, the build up was wonderful and kept me hooked from the first page. Hope that there will be some more like this one.

This was an entertaining quick read and I loved both of the characters. I loved the connection between the characters and I loved the writing I have read a few books now by Leslie North and this book was no exception. I was hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put my kindle down while reading this book.

Another great cowboy story in the series. I think I read them a little back the front but I was still able to work out what was going on. The romance was at times a little corny and maybe over the top but it suited the story itself.
