Misadventures of a City Girl is a good fit for those seeking a lighthearted, romantic escape with a touch of emotional depth.

After a disaster of a divorce, Madison decides to take some time away from Hollywood and regroup at a mountain retreat. While there, she has has a run in with the local "mountain man", Luke, who chooses to live off the grid after his time in the military. Instant attraction is overpowered by irritation and embarrassment. Their second surprise interaction wasn't going to end the same way. This a short, but super steamy read with a happy ever after.

I don't mind insta-lust all that much, it's part of why I got these was for spicy reads. However I didn't feel like I connected with the characters. The sex scenes were incredible and quite detailed, and blazingly hot...but once the characters started talking, I glazed over. I love good dialogue that really gives powerful insight to the character, but it felt really lacking. Like they were pushing for it to work because their sexual chemistry was so great.

This was one of the first Misadventure books I read and it won't be my last. If they are all fun and quick little reads such as this, I will just have to go buy them all!

I read it quite a long time ago but forgot to review, but it is really such a great book.

What a fascinating book. I was impressed by the storyline and the characters were all well written and complex. Where there are complex storylines combined with intriguing characters the reader experience is magnified tremendously. To have a book that is well written as well as entertaining is a delight. Reading is about escaping your world and entering another one. The word building was phenomenal in this book. Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book.

Going into this one I did not have high hopes, but boy was I surprised! Steamy, Sexy and Loved it! Luke and Madison have great chemistry and sizzle. Wish this was longer!

I feel so sorry for saying this but I have no idea how this book got so many five-star ratings. It was terrible on so many levels. It had no real plot, reading this felt like watching some really cheap porn.

Incredible book I loved every minute of it. This book has amazing characters and the story was so great I loved everything about this story.

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Madison and Luke. I love a good mountain man story. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

These two writers are wonderful apart as it is, but together they make sparks ignite. This Misadventures series is just amazing!
Luke is a hot, sexy loner and he goes after his total opposite in city girl Madison. Such a fast paced and steamy story. Two thumbs up!

I enjoyed this book so much. I love the fact that she was out of her comfort zone and she finds this rugged loner. I'm just always here for that. Is this my favorite Misadventures book? No, but for being the first one and knowing I've loved some of the future ones, I'm super excited to keep reading this series.

This book was sexy and also sweet. I love when characters compromise to stay together and be happy. She doesn't have to ditch her LA life and he doesn't completely have to ditch his loner mountain man life in order for them to be happy together and I loved seeing them figure that out together.

A steamy, fast paced, with a bit of humor. I love when the tough guy ends up be a romantic teddy bear. I can't wait to read more Misadventures!

Couldn’t put this book down! I immediately feel in love both Luke & Madison and enjoyed how there story unfolded!

I'm not so sure why it took me so long to read this book by these two authors, but i am so glad that i finally dug into this and boy was i entertained.
Madison the city girl who has had a publicized bad divorce, now needs a bit of time to herself to get back on track, so booking a retreat and finding Luke was not what she had in mind.
Luke the Vet, a man scarred by war. But somehow these two with their vastly different backgrounds make perfect sense, but of course it's not easy as there a a few pitfalls to negotiate and life isn't always easy.

A fantastic read that once i started i just read through the night.

Sadly this book just didn't surpass the hype. I heard about this series through a friend of mine and she loves them, but I really didn't enjoy this one at all.

Luke is living on the mountain where Avalon Springs is but in a little cabin away from everything. After being discharged from the Navy Seals he hides away from everything to deal with his PTSD.
When Luke meets Madison it's lust at first sight but it might be.......

Excellent, I wanted this book because I am a fan of Meredith Wild, and am glad I did Meredith and her co author did an excellent job, I couldn't put this down, great characters and great storyline

This was amazing! I mean how could you go wrong with Bliss and Wild writing together? Together they wrote a sexy and romantic book that made me swoon like no other.
