This was an incredibly good read! The story was beautifully written and the characters were flushed out really well! Definitely worth the read!

Halloween is one of those holidays that kids love all year round. They'll love this counting book. The illustrations are scary, but not too scary, which will be just right for my littlest readers.

Very tastefully written as I really enjoyed how the author/illustrator choose characters that would not scare young readers. I also enjoyed how the illustrator captured the expression of each character.
Must have for my school library.

What a cute counting book on the Hallowe'en theme. I read this book with my 3.5 year old grandson and he love it. He counted, guessed what we were counting and loved the illustrations, they were large and very colourful. I was glad that the monsters, witches etc. were not scary looking. The alliterations were cute too and we talked about what letters the words started with, although I did not use the word alliteration with him. I know this is one he will want to read again. A great book for pre-school and kindergarten classrooms.

An absolutely adorable Halloween themed counting book perfect for young kids learning to count and older kids who just want to have some fun with it.

Perfect for parents, teachers and librarians to have in their collection as it's a simple and safe story to read to the youngest of us all. Despite the Halloween theme there is nothing here too scary so as a parent I'd recommend it.

I loved this book soooo much!!! I might be biased because I love Halloween. I was sold just by the monsters on the cover. This is a counting book that uses aspects of Halloween to teach numbers. Toddlers can never have enough counting books. This is a great one to read around Halloween time. I thought that the illustrations were done very well. I recommend this book to everyone who has a toddler.
I am definitely adding this one to my collection.

One Haunted House is an early math book that could be used during the month of October to reinforce counting in preschoolers. The illustrations are eye-catching and the monsters are not scary. It captures the essence of the holiday and would be a good addition to a preschool or home library.

From the fun illustrations to the delightful rhymes, this is sure to be a hit with your toddler age children. Our three year old was fascinated with Halloween as a two year old, and this book still holds his attention now. This adorable title also offers him the chance to reinforce his counting skills. Definitely a holiday book worth adding to the home and school library.

I read this book to my three year old to get his reaction. Right off the bat he loved the art. He kept telling me to turn the page back because he wasn't done looking at the fun pictures. His favorite were the four baffled bats. The eyes are a crack up. I loved how the rhymes flowed well and were unique. A lot of times the rhyming doesn't work well and I feel like I have heard it all before, but this book not only captured my son's attention, but it made me laugh as well. Loved it from start to finish.

One Haunted House will make an excellent addition to my classroom Halloween books. The children will enjoy the simple counting and fun illustrations. I can see this book inspiring the writing of their own number books.
