Yes, this is the beginning of the Bandicoot Cove series and Lexxie Couper starts it off with a bang! McKenzie and Aidan are one “hot” couple … even if Mack doesn’t know it yet. Then, throw in the hottest Rock and Roll star in the world and the story ignites!

Aiden has been in love with Mack since they were teenagers. She looks at him as her best friend. After almost being killed in a fire, he is determined to make this trip to Bandicoot Cove count, to tell her how he feels and get her to accept him as more that her friend.

Mack feels it, for the first time ever. That electric feeling you get when you look at someone and know that you just have to “have” him. Aidan? She’s never had this happen with him before and is convinced that it’s just the magic in the air on the island. Then she sees Nick Blackthorn and can’t help but approach him in an attempt to get an interview. Aidan tries to stop her, Nick is intrigued by her, Aidan will take what he can get (as long as he gets her in the end), Mack can’t believe what she is agreeing to.

Lexxie Couper always delivers with hot men, unbelievable erotica, emotionally charged characters and a storyline that leaves you wanting more. She writes sweet characters with libido’s that you could only wish for and gives you HEA’s that make you swoon.

A steamy romantic novella. McKenzie and Aidan might be best friends but that soon changes when Nick Blackthorne comes into the picture. Their encounter is so scorching hot that you have no doubt they belong with each other. I enjoyed reading this book and was happy to read that Nick was finally able to finish his song. A short awesome read' can't wait to read more from Lexxie Couper.

When love is right in front of you and you don’t realize until someone else sees it for you and points out the obvious. When best friends firefighter Adian and journalist McKenzie come to a soft opening of a tropical resort which one of their friends manage, they find much more than they had bargained for. McKenzie sees someone else who is at this opening and it is none other than famous rock star Nick Blackthorne. McKenzie is surprised to see him here because last she heard he was away at some rehab for sex addiction. What she wouldn’t give for an interview with him for her trash magazine she currently works for?! Tropical Sin couldn’t be a better title for this book because it gives you a scorching hot, naughty read along with a HEA.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley for a freely given and honest review.

A short read but with enough emotion to keep me reading.
The three main characters all had their own appeal. I appreciate and enjoy a friends to lover story then add another character into the mix and it pushes the heat level up.

I would have liked to get to know the characters a little more but I understand in short reads we don't always get the more we're looking for.

Aidan and McKenzie have been best friends forever and Aidan has always loved her. After going away on a romantic trip meant for lovers, he finally decides to tell her how she feels. When sexy rockstar Nick Blackthorne comes into the picture, what will this mean for the new couple? This is a hot, sexy read with a lot of heat on the pages. It was a good story for a novella. It kept me hot and bothered while telling a sweet friends to lovers story. It was a good read.

This book is so wild and crazy. It was a shocker when they opened the door and Nick was standing there asking them to join in with them. What?? That was so unexpected and crazy. It was a quick and easy read, perfect for some summer time fun reading by the pool!

It was a steamy novella but as far as a extreme connection between the main characters it was hard to grasp. I love the whole best friends to lovers storyline but having a third player made the actual connection difficult. Over all it was a quick, steamy, and interesting read. If you don't mind some threesome evolving into true love between two characters then this novel will be okay for you. It was a 3 stars in my opinion.

Nick Blackthorn is known for his wild lifestyle but he’s a little surprised to be instantly drawn to a couple that has his thinking about what it would be like for them to be together.

McKenzie Wood needs her BFF to pose as her partner at an island resort as part of her cover while she’s chasing a hot story. Luckily, pulse-poundingly gorgeous firefighter Aiden Rogers is always up to any challenge.

No one would believe Aiden can face down any fire but can’t tell his best friend he’s in love with her and would like to do some seriously sinful things to her. When she asks him to go away with her, it seems like the perfect opportunity to change the status quo.

The island heat burns away inhibitions, but this threesome is rocked when secrets come out and hearts and truths are exposed.

Tropical Sin is book three in the Bandicoot Cove series by Lexxie Couper. Oh…My…Gosh. This book! I am in love with it. It is melt your face off hot. But that’s not all. I loved the characters, the setting, just everything.

Bandicoot Cove is preparing for their grand opening by inviting select guests for a soft opening. McKenzie (Mack) Wood and her best friend, Aidan Rogers are two of the lucky guests to be invited.

Mack is a journalist for a tabloid magazine. When she sees the biggest rock star of Australia, Nick Blackthorne, at the resort, she can’t believe her luck. There are all sorts of rumors surrounding him lately and she is going to get an exclusive. This is just what her career needs. Who better to help her out than her plus one and her best friend since they were kids, Aidan.

Aidan is a firefighter. He has probably loved Mack from the day he met her. But he never told her how he felt. He couldn’t chance losing her. But he recently nearly died while fighting a fire and it made him realize that he had to tell Mack how he felt. That he wanted more, so much more, than to be friends. On this beautiful tropical island, it would be the perfect setting to reveal everything, to show her everything.

Nick Blackthorne has lost his music. The words just won’t come anymore. Then he heard her laugh. He turned around and saw them together, saw the way they looked at each other, even if they didn’t realize it themselves, he saw it, love. And he heard the music again.

“How could two people he’d never met until today stir something so firmly believed dead? And what was he going to do about it?”

When Mack looked at Aidan in this beautiful tropical setting, for the first time, she felt something more, something unexpected, something so foreign. Did he feel it too? But he’d been her best friend forever!

“This isn’t just anyone. This is Aidan. The guy’s had your heart in his pocket since you were kids. Even if you didn’t know it.”

Nick needed Aidan and Mack. He knew it as much as he needed to breathe. He had the song inside of him, just not all of it. He needed them so he could hear the rest of the song.

“I was planning on writing an award-winning expose on Nick Blackthorne’s sexual secrets…now I seem to be a part of them.”

When these three came together, I swear it set my e-reader on fire. It was hot, it was sweet, and it was beautiful. But what happens when it’s time to leave? Is it only magical because the three of them are together? When they go home, how will it be between Aidan and Mack? Will the magic of the tropical island follow them home?

“I’ve got you babe.” McKenzie’s heart fluttered. Yes he did. On so many levels.

I loved this one. I might be in love with the author, Lexxie Couper. So turn down the A/C, ladies, and read this one. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The last time Entangled released a series of standalones like this by different authors, it was the Wedding Dare series and I discovered several new favorite authors. When I saw the Scorched line was releasing (or I guess re-releasing) a series of hot, beachy novellas this summer, I jumped on the opportunity to read and review them. Who knows what I might discover this time around since I’ve actually not read any of the authors previously. I did realize after looking at Goodreads that these books had previously been released prior to Entangled picking them up, but they were all new to me, so I went for it anyhow.

Following Entangled’s reading order, I started at the beginning (a very good place to start, I hear) with Tropical Sin. It was a good, solid, quick read. It was hot and dirty, but I got a couple feels towards the end, too. The only thing I didn’t quite get was why it took a third party to make McKenzie and Aiden finally admit their feelings for each other went beyond friendship. It seemed pretty obvious to me that these two were pretty perfectly suited for each other and, while I’m all for menage, it seemed a little disjointed to me. Don’t get me wrong, it was hot. Nick was an interesting addition to the storyline, but I’m not sure he was a necessary one. I’d have been just as happy to read about McKenzie and Aiden embracing their feelings, getting it on and moving forward as I was reading about (what I felt like) was an unnecessary third party.

All that said, Tropical Sin was a good, sexy read. Since it’s a novella, it only took me a couple hours reading time to finish and it was time fairly well spent. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the other characters in the Bandicoot Cove series.

FAVORITE QUOTES

“He’s been looking out for your heart since the day he met you, holding it in those massive bloody hands of his and making sure no one hurts it. He would do anything for you, you know that, right?”

“A face of an angel with filth on her mind. I pray to burn in her fire, I pray to die in her arms.”

I feel like I've read this before but in a full length novel. I did not finish as it was too close to another book.

Tropical Sin is the story of Mack and Aidan. two best friends since they were younger now are on a vacation of a life time. While on vacation Aidan has come to the realization he needs to tell Mack how he really feels. Mack being a gossip mag journalist knows there is a story when she spots Nick Blackthorne at the resort. It's quite the adventure these three will go on. Filled with revelations, love, and heart breaking pasts.

This book fit weird... like the couple was ok but then they added a 3rd person out of no where?!!?!? It felt wrong and creepy!!

This was a cute little book. For such a short story, the author packed in a lot of character development. It probably would have been a better full length novel. The sex was also extremely hot.
