I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.

This was an extremely entertaining read. Characters were perfectly matched, although they were completely different (on the outside - grin). I really loved Grace's spunkiness and take no prisoners attitude. It took me a bit to get into Davis, but he finally won me around to his side. The writing was excellent and editing was flawless! (go editing). Quite frankly, you just can't go wrong with Jessica Lemmon. Eagerly awaiting the next book. 4 1/2 STARS

Arm Candy is another book from the series and I liked this one better than first. It is well written story with interesting plot and two interesting characters. Davis and Grace cannot be more opposite characters but it works for them. Davis is a player and of course, Grace notices it but after circling each other for a really long time they finally end up together. Intense and quick funny story. Grace was really funny.

I did not finish the book, put it on my DNF shelf on Goodreads. The description was promising but did not think that the novel was suited for me. Wish the author would have put an excerpt for you to look at before reading. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this novel.

The only thing that brought this book down to a four star rating, was the beginning. I don't mind a book being written in first person form. But the first couple of chapters Grace and Davis were actually talking to us the readers. I personally don't care for that. It's probably just me, so no worries.
Davis is a man's man. He works from home but still keeps regular hours and dresses in a suit and tie every day. Then enjoy a beer at the local bar after work. Grace is the hot red headed bartender that always has time to verbally spar with him. One bet turns into a date which leads to a lot more. I like that Grace bartends because she truly loves it, not just because the tips are good. They both have that in common, having jobs that they each love.

This one was kind of a fail for me. I did read the whole thing, but I really didn't like either of the characters. I thought the Davis "packages" were dumb and off-putting. What would possess a woman to want to sleep with someone who has slept his way through the entire city? Have some dignity! I didn't really buy into their love story. In the end, it ended up being the same story I've read before hundreds of times. I'm not really sure I can recommend it.

i liked this one better than eye candy. i thought the relationship between the two characters developed much easier than the previous one. i liked how open and honest they were with each other.

Oh Gracie Lou what can you do? I would imagine that having parents who are divorced and divorce attorneys believing in love and marriage would be hard. Despite Davis having a jaded view of love and marriage it might just work out for them. This is a sweet story and great characters!

This is a very captivating novel. I loved that the main characters are so different from the common romances. A tattooed female bartender! That rocks!
It has a predictable ending with HEA but the story has some aspects and difference that made it worth the read.
It has very hot scenes and a pair of twists and turns. A sweet read with a lot of back and forth banter before they come to the conclusion.
Worth the read.

I am a big fan of Ms Lemmon's writing...I always look forward to her new releases, unfortunately at first this book just did live up to what I had expected. I was unable to become invested in the characters, Davis was shallow and Grace unbelievable in her attraction to him. They were such an unlikely pair that I lost interest in their story early on. But...and this is a big but, I hung in there to the end and am so very glad I did. I was not disappointed.

I am a new Jessica Lemmon fan! It is so awesome to read great work from an author I haven't known about. This story was brilliant. A combo between friend-to-lovers and office romance, it was funny and sweet as well as sexy.

The writing was excellent and I absolutely love it when the story feels interactive. It amazing to feel like the characters are pulling me into the story so I can feel included versus being told the story, and that is what Jessica Lemmon do with Jacqueline Butler and Vince Carson.

The friendship they shared was a strong one. Having helped each other through rough times, they evolved into a comfortable setting where they hung out like besties. It was so easy going and sweet; which made the transition to moving toward something more easy yet equally complicated. Like with most moves from friendship to lovers they feared losing what they have and add to that their lingering insecurities from the pasts...they have a few bumps on the road but what a wonderful journey they had.

I just adored this book and its characters. They had me laughing, giggling and feeling all the feels to make it all feel real and believable. I am delighted to have met Jackie and Vince and look forward to learning the story behind Davis in the next book.

Jessica Lemmon has a great writing style and I can't wait to read more of her work.

Arm candy is way too simple to describe this book. This was full on dessert. I loved loved this book. It was so easy to read and not get bored. It was fast paced but not over the top and a realistic representation of what it's like to get back on the wagon when you have been heartbroken. Gracie and Davis are adorable as the dance around each other and try to navigate the mine fields of dating. If you are looking for a light hearted, fun, and sometimes serious love story this is the book for you.

I loved Eye Candy so much that I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Davis and Grace’s story. The two stories are quite different and while this plot is very similar to many other stories, it still has a fresh feel to it.

You have the womanizer that was hurt and has one-night stands with blondes. I could feel the ongoing hurt that he had carried for many years but sometimes his actions and the things he said were just too sleazy!

Grace didn’t want commitment after watching her parent’s marriage and the disintegration. She seemed to believe that she could see someone briefly, end it, and not get attached or hurt.

These two people could not be more different from each other – Davis, a suit and tie wearing finance guru, even though he worked from home. Grace (or Gracie Lou as Davis called her), a bartender with red hair, tattoos, and nose ring. Neither are interested in commitment but can’t help but feel the pull towards each other.

There were many funny, sweet, and with just the right amount of steamy sex scenes. But at one point, the two just broke my heart. In true romance fashion, everything works out for a positive future.

Ms. Lemmon writes fun characters, witty banter, and poignant storylines and I can’t wait to read the next story in this series. I laughed out-loud several times and highlighted numerous areas of the book. I love a story that can make me laugh and Ms. Lemmon definitely has a special talent for entertaining.

Thanks to Loveswept and Netgalley for the ARC.

Oh how I loved Arm Candy! This book is part of a series but can 100% be read as a standalone. It is funny, sexy and completely entertaining with just the right amount of heart and soul to balance it out. The characters are endearing and the perfect match for each other. Davis---the complete opposite of what I was expecting him to be after meeting him in Eye Candy (book 1). He's been through a difficult trauma and has closed himself off because of it. He holds secrets and the walls he's put up to protect himself are pretty strong. Enter Grace, the wildcard. She's strong, independent and afraid of getting hurt. What happens when 2 people fall for each other but are afraid to fully let go for fear of heartbreak? Read Arm Candy to find out! Be prepared to laugh, swoon and fall right alongside Davis and his "Gracie Lou". 5 fabulous stars!

I ended up liking this book more than I expected to. At first I thought it was going to turn into a standard plotline of an unlikely couple coming together because of their sexual attraction the have sex, engage in sexually-tinged antagonistic banter, have more sex, eventually decide they love each other. The end. But the guy, buttoned-up, but sexy Davis and feisty, red-headed bartender Grace turn out to be more than what they appear to be on the surface. They each have their hang-ups about romance and getting serious, but then realize that they mean more to each other than just a good shagging.

I enjoyed reading along with their discovery of what they felt and how each of them was the seemingly unlikely, but right match for the other.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Arm Candy by Jessica Lemmon was such a fun and light read. Two opposites who find what they least expect in each other. The chemistry is steamy and their banter will keep you engrossed. This is book two in the series; however, I did not read the previous book, but never felt lost.

Grace works as a bartender at McGreevy and is used to being hit on. Comes with the territory. But relationships are out of the question for her. She wouldn’t even know where to begin. She never really had the best examples of what constitutes a good relationship. But there is something about the man who frequents the bar, in a suit and tie no less.

Davis finds himself captivated with Grace, though she is not exactly his type. He likes them bubbly and blond. Ones he can enjoy and walk away from. Grace is all attitude, tattooed and pierced. But something about her draws him in. But he too avoids relationships due to what happened to him in a previous relationship.

When a dare forces him out of his comfort zone, Davis knows just who his target will be. Both Davis and Grace had great chemistry and I loved the banter between them. They were easy to like. But both had some heavy baggage to overcome in regards to relationships and learning to love. Could they be just what the other needed or are they too different to make it work?

This was an opposites attract story that was just an easy, fun read with great characters and feel good moments. There was some light angst and obstacles each had to face, but overall, great characters and a story line that will draw you in.

This is the second book in the series and it doesn't disappoint! Davis and Gracie started their banter in book 1 at the bar where Gracie works and Davis is a regular and it continues in this book.

Davis was left at the altar six years ago and since then he has developed "packages" for his dates to choose from so they don't get too involved ... The Basic Davis, The Deluxe, or The Premium. He has developed this package system because he cannot let his heart get involved in a relationship again. That is until Gracie.

Gracie doesn't believe in happily ever after because of her divorced parents, who are divorce lawyers. She grew up with people who argued ... all the time. She didn't want to chance such a relationship, so she decided no relationships. That is until Davis.

Gracie bets Davis that he cannot ask out someone other than a blonde and he takes her up on her bet ... and asks her out. Gracie agrees and picks her package. But when the package is up, neither one wants to admit that they don't want it to end. This is a lighthearted romantic comedy with lots of steam. You will laugh out loud, and you choke back a few tears. Take Davis and Gracie's journey with them ... I promise you won't regret it.
