Chasing a Legend is a fast paced and interesting story. The story was well written, and the characters were well developed. I like the Kavanagh family dynamics and I can't wait to read more of them.

Chasing a Legend
Kavanaugh Legends #4
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quinn Kavanaugh had his heart broken when his best friend Kiera left him without even saying goodbye 6 years ago. Now after Quinn had a near fatal motorcycle accident, he is in physical therapy only to find out his Dr is no one other than Kiera. She has returned home to complete her residency.
Kiera has a lot to make up for even though she has no idea why. She never knew Quinn had feelings for her. But she can't deny the feelings she has for him now. But can she get him to open his heart back up?

This was such an awesome and romantic story. It was so real and the characters were awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on more of this Kavanaugh family.

Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

What can I tell you about this story that other reviewers haven't already said?  Not much probably.

Engaging characters? Check

Decent story line? Check

Interactions between the main protagonists that will just draw you deeper and deeper into the book until you never want to come back out? Check and check.

This is the only book in the Kavanagh legends series that I have read, but that didn't matter.  I think that possibly, coming to this fresh, meant that I didn't have any expectations for this, the fourth book in the series, which means that I can assess it purely on its own merits, rather than what hopes I might have had, if I had come to know Quinn through his brothers' books.

Another well crafted story from this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Quinn has loved Kiera since he was a little boy. He was always her best friend and protector, and that is just how she saw him. But just after her 18th birthday, she asked Quinn to take her virginity because she wanted to give it to someone she trusted. Quinn was in heaven and the next day when he went to tell her he loved her, he found out she had left for a college across the country ... early. That broke his heart and he decided right then that he was never going to give his heart away again.

Six years later, Quinn was in a motorcycle accident that nearly took his life. After five months of healing, he was starting physical therapy only to find out that Keira was his doctor. The moment he saw her, all his feelings of love for her came rushing back. And Keira realized what she had been missing in her life was Quinn. This is a sweet story of everlasting love, but misunderstandings can shatter it if you're not careful. Take Quinn and Kiera's journey with them ... you won't regret it!

I love the Kavanagh Brothers books! This story is a bout Quinn and it takes place a few years after the previous book.

Quinn is the manager for Kavanagh's gym and he has been doing it for years but there is something that he has been keeping from his family. A secret that he is afraid to tell any of them. The night that he gets in his accident his whole world changes.

Kiera hasn't been to her home town since she left for college. She is now back and she is the PT at the hospital that Quinn is being treated at. Kiera and Quinn used to be the best of friends when they were yournger and neither one of them knew that they each were secretly in love with each other. One night changes all everything and Kiera leaves for college without even saying goodbye to Quinn.

When Quinn finds out that Kiera is going to be his PT lets just say that he is not that happy. Emotions fly high, scenes will be steamy, heartache will come again, and the secret that Quinn is keeping will be revealed. Will Quinn let Kiera back into his life? This is a must read story!

This is the 4th book in the Kavanagh series. This 4 star story deals with Quinn one of the brothers. He gets a second chance at life and romance.

Quinn never forgot his first love , Kiera. She left for college and haven't seen him in a few years. After an horrible accident he gets a second chance at life. His doctor is none other than Kiera. They get a second chance to make it right.

I loved this series very much. This story is more low key and a great summer beach read. Highly enjoyable and entertaining. Rest assured all the books are standalone and well worth the read. Written in the third person and it does have an HEA. I recommend this story.

4.25-4.5 STARS

In this fourth installment to author Sarah Robinson's Kavanagh Legends series, Quinn and Kiera are given a second chance at finding their happily-ever-after. But when your heart has already been shattered once, it's hard to trust the fragile remnants with the very person who tore it to shreds in the first place.

For Quinn Kavanagh, loving Kiera is a given. So, forgiving her comes easy. But leaving the past behind and trusting Kiera enough to move their relationship forward, might just prove to be Quinn's biggest challenge of all.

A sweet and sexy romance, "Chasing a Legend" is also a very inspiring story. It illustrates beautifully the resilience of the body, heart and spirit, and it serves as a reminder that we should always stay true to the path we are meant to follow.

When is a sports romance not just a sports romance? When Sarah Robinson is at the helm. Ms. Robinson and her Kavanagh Legends did something that for years I thought was impossible. Introduced me to gripping tales of courage, spirit and living the American dream. Told through the eyes of fictional sports heroes and fans alike. This author enabled me to discover a genre that I had previously shied away from and I've never looked back sense. Chasing a Legend explains why.

Having hope in the face of adversity is never an easy task. Quinn and Kiera have learned that first hand. What they've forgotten is that in order to accomplish anything, a person has to believe in themselves. A lesson we all do well to remember and a point that Ms. Robinson drives home splendidly. Wise advice never gets old and neither does a second chance romance.

***5 ‘Waiting For It’s Other Half’ Stars***

My journey with the Kavanagh Legends series has had it’s ups and downs, but from the start I adored the Kavanagh family dynamic and that’s what has kept me coming back for more, regardless of which member of the family is up on the chopping block. But Chasing a Legend finally did what the previous ones couldn’t. It gave me my hit of the family and all the crazy goodness that comes with them (which included a few moments where I had to do the fast blinking, looking up at the ceiling to not cry and ruin my make-up since I was work thing), but a couple that I ended up adoring. There were moments where I wanted to Gibbs smack them both, but I really loved their journey. It was sweet, smexy and had just enjoy angst to keep things interesting and keep me turning the pages til the very end.

It’s funny what draws you to someone. Sometimes is what they do, other times it’s how they act and when it came to Quinn it was how he handled his recovery and rehab from his accident. He hated being dependant on others, but instead of being a grump and getting all surly about it, he appreciated the fact that they all wanted to help him get better and that showed me what a good man he was. He’s charming, funny and when he goes into Alpha mode it’s all over.

Kiera was kinda spastic. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I call one of my besties spastic all the time, but the girl definitely kept me on my toes. One second she’s all kinds of nervous and awkward and the next she’s taking charge and going after what she wants. But while she gave a tinsy case of whiplash, it was her heart that endeared her to me. She genuinely cares about people and has no problem jumping in and doing what needs to be done to show them.

One never knows what they’ll be getting with a second chance romance. Will it be all kinds of angsty? How much push/pulling will be going on between the characters? Those are the questions that I tend have swirling around in my head, and I have to say that I actually enjoyed the ups and downs throughout Quinn and Kiera’s journey. Some of the downs had me growling at both of them, but I liked how they tended to stay on the more mature adult side of things. They remembered that they were friends, best friends, and went from there. Their interactions were cute and silly at times and yet there were some good heart to hearts that showed how well they still knew each other despite the amount of time they’d been out of contact with each other and the smexy was quite hawt! The two major roadblocks in their road were not a huge surprise, and one I did roll my eyes at, but I loved how they worked out and that epilogue was perfect!

Chasing a Legend was a fun read and I really enjoyed the lighter tone of it and how it was very much a character driven story. Catching up with and hanging out with the Kavanagh’s was a blast and Dee had me cracking up. As for the whole fighting not to cry moments in this one, I did curse the author in my head because who wants to be crying while reading at work? But it goes to show how well done the scene(s) were written to cause that reaction. Now to wait for Jimmy and Casey’s books since they are the last two standing….

4.5☆ This is the first book I've read in this series and by this author and I really loved it. As the story itse!f was sweet, enjoyable, highly entertaining, low angst and it kept me engaged from start to finish.

Plus both main characters Quinn and Keira are extremely likable and I loved the relationship that developed between them, and as second chance romances go. This is one of the best I've read in a little while. And not just because of the two lead characters. But because of the entire Kavanagh family. Who I loved and as someone who is new to this series. I never once felt confused or lost by all the familial relationships that have already been developed.

I also found it a refreshing change to read a story where the female lead was the one causing the heartbreak rather than the male and overall I thought this was a really great read. That I would happily recommend to others, and I'll definitely be checking out the previous books in this series as well as future ones.

I love the characters in the book. Where they are from, what they do, I LOVE IT!. Irish men in a UFC club is a dream come true for me. Quinn has always been in each story but, it hadn't shed any light on the kind of person Quinn is. It was a cliche romance where childhood sweethearts meet again and fall in love all over. Though the sex scenes were completely drool worthy, the story itself was lacking. It seemed like the sex scenes covered up the potential of this story. It was so hard for me to finish the book because there weren't any surprises. From the begining of the book every figurative stone was turned over and it basically gave a summary of the entire book. Boy gets hurt, boy re-meets girl, falls in love again, trust issues, etc. This book would be phenonemal if it focused more on the story than the sex.

I’ll cut straight to the chase on this one, folks. Other than the descriptive, hard to imagine he lived through, slow mo details regarding Quinn’s nearly fatal motorcycle accident at the very beginning, not a lot happens in this storyline. We start out with an immature, easily influenced by others opinions, grew up together young couple who did not take the time to discuss what was between them six years ago, and surprisingly they almost end up the same way at the conclusion.

The way Keira used Quinn right before heading off to college across the country was eye-rolling ridiculous, unnecessary, and very selfish, in my avid romantic at heart opinion. Let’s just say, I wouldn’t approve of that logic/conduct if a guy did it, so role reversal didn’t work for me, as well. The subsequent fallout wasn’t too surprising, but unnecessary because it could have been easily resolved. I found myself wishing they both had been mature enough to have dealt with it head on or hashed it out on one of her sporadic visits when she visited home over the years. No, longing and resentment seems to have festered for both of them. For someone very outspoken and didn’t take no for an answer most of the time, I’m surprised Keira let things continue as long as she did.

Without a lot of fanfare, they slowly reconnect and old wounds seem to start healing, but trust hasn’t quite caught up with them yet. One of them pushes the other away in an “Oh, like that is really going to fix everything!/What are you thinking?” moment that eventually leads to a rather predictable but heartfelt romantic gesture that enables them to finally be together forever. Well, we hope. Knowing this couple’s past, I think we’ll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best for them.

If you like steamy, second chance romances between childhood friends to lovers (with a six year separation where they are not celibate) and can shrug off their knucklehead moments, you might find this not overly complicated, romantic tale appeals to you. They did actually feel like they were always meant to be. It was certainly refreshing to come across a hero who still held a candle for his lady love in his heart, even when he didn't want to.

What you won’t find is much of a MMA fighting theme. You see, Quinn begins to pursue a metal sculpture art career so his days as an MMA manager working with his family are basically over. Even with the cameo appearances of characters from previous books, this storyline felt more like a spin-off than sequel to the Kavanagh Legends series, folks.

No matter what you decide, I hope my review has been helpful in some way in making the call whether this book is a good fit for you.

This is the best book in the series! It is so emotional and you are just pulling for Quinn throughout this entire book. The opening first four chapters - break out the tissues - the author does an amazing job of capturing the hurt and pain Quinn is going through. Then add the family dog dying - more tissues please! You see this easy going relationship developing and just know in your gut something is going to happen it just can't be this good and easy for Quinn, he has to fight for everything. But the ending is so sweet and just perfect for these two! Love the writing and all of the emotions you feel as you read about Quinn and Kiera.

Loved this story! To me, Quinn has always been the most intriguing Kavanagh brother and finally we have his story and it's a great second chance romance. Quinn and Kiera shared a night of incredible passion years ago. It meant everything to Quinn but the next day Kiera was gon. Not just from his bed but from their hometown. Sometimes it's difficult to know the right thing to do when you are that young with your life and dreams ahead of you. Kiera made the only decision she felt she could. Leave and pursue her dreams. Now she's back and she can only hope that the now grownup Quinn doesn't distract her to the point of not finishing what she started.

I love this entire series and this is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend this one to everyone.

Kavanagh Legends by Sarah Robinson is a book series about unconditional love, forgiveness and mixed martial arts. Each novel is about a member of the Kavanagh crew, which is made up of five brothers, a sisterly cousin, and two incredible parents. Chasing a Legend is the fourth book in the series, and it is the story of Quinn Kavanagh, an MMA manager and agent, that finds his true calling through creating metal sculpture.

After an almost fatal motorcycle accident, Quinn is finally on the road to walking again. His new physical therapist, Dr. Kiera Finley, just happens to be the love of his life, who broke his heart six years ago. Quinn and Kiera were best friends since childhood, until they shared a night of passion. Kiera left the next day for college and didn't even say goodbye. At first, Quinn found it difficult to work with Keira, yet overtime, her expertise and love made him whole again. Kiera never knew how much she hurt Quinn and now she has the opportunity to make amends.

This is a refreshing love story with an interesting plot and well-defined characters. The Kavanagh family dynamic is amusing at times, and I will never forget how they supported each other through both thick and thin. Quinn and Kiera are a hot couple and their sexy times are steamy. If you enjoy a novel with a strong heroine, some lighthearted sibling rivalry, and a hero that just won't give up, then check out this book. Each novel in the series can be enjoyed as a standalone.

The Kavanagh men are not to be missed!

Sarah Robinson continues her Kavanagh Legends series with another TKO novel, Chasing a Legend.

Quinn Kavanagh is on top of the world when he gets injured in a motorcycle incident. His life goes through a complete upheaval, made even more complicated by the reemergence of his childhood friend and one-time love, Kiera. As Quinn heals, he wonders if there’s a shot for a second-chance at love.

…He made a new resolve to live differently. To live the life he wanted—even if he didn’t know exactly what that was yet.

I gotta say that this book was hella romantic! Quinn’s one of my favorite Kavanagh family members. I was already crying after the first chapter. He’s lived an active life and to find his muscles weak and that he is cane bound makes him think about his life. About what he wants.
It’s always when you least expect it that love comes a-knockin’!

Kiera has been Quinn’s best friend since childhood, but when she left for college with big dreams, their relationship suffered. Reconnecting with Quinn is a bit awkward for her, but she also realizes how much she’s missed him. Too bad Quinn’s holding a grudge, and she doesn’t understand what happened.

When she wanted something, she went for it. She didn’t let pride or fear or anything else knock her off course. And she wanted Quinn.

It’s such a refreshing twist to find Quinn as the one who wants a family. Kiera’s go the career bug, however, and finds herself back in her hometown. I loved Kiera! She’s very forward and so unafraid to jump right in. She’s also got a bit of awkwardness to her and she goes on these rambles. So funny!

And then there’s Quinn. *Le sigh* He’s such a sweetie, but every once in a while, you also get to see his growly side. I mean, he comes from a family of MMA fighters and his dad has ties to the mafia! But he’s a little gun-shy, too, and the hints of vulnerability just gave me the major feels.
Together? These characters popped and sizzled right off the page.

“You did!” He laughed. “You cursed! I’ve known you twenty-four fucking years, and I’ve never heard you curse before. Welcome to adulthood, Keeks. We have pizza and beer.”

Chasing a Legend is a romance story through and through. The Kavanagh family banter is spot on as always, the sex was often and delightfully steamy, and the emotions jam-packed. Another winner in the series.

4 stars!

Chasing A Legend
By: Sarah Robinson
📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Let me just start by saying I knew I loved Quinn Kavanaugh in his brothers books. However I'm head over heels now. In Chasing a Legend you get to see the serious side of the comedian of the family. He's always been the person that puts everyone before himself even if it's meant giving up on his own dreams.

Quinn is in a serious motorcycle accident at the start of the book. Staying with his parents so his mom can help him heal leaves Quinn struggling physically with broken bones, physical therapy and major scaring but he's also dealing with his own personal struggles. He's family are athletes and he's helped get the family gym and his brothers back on track but Rory believes they'll never accept the artist side of him. Once starting physical therapy Rory discovers that his longtime best friend of two decades Kiera will be his doctor/physical therapist. Not speaking to each other after one and only intimate night together before Kiera goes away to college. Kiera has never understood why Quinn cut her out of his life and its crushed her for years. Rory who was crushed when Kiera left two weeks early for college after giving him her V-card and taking his heart with him. She didn't want his heart at least not six years ago while she focused on school.

The journey these two take not only together but separately as well is one discovery. Can they be best friends again and hopefully a lot more as well. Together they are spunky and fun but mostly they'll might just bring the best parts of the other.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review

I don't think I could ever get enough of the Kavanagh clan. This family just fills me with all kinds of fuzzy warm feelings. The fact that they're all ever present in each book just shows how close their bond is. I love that the Kavanagh children are all so very grown, but when their parents are around they revert to being children out of respect and love for Dee and Seamus. It's so freaking adorable.

So far I've journeyed with Rory, Keiran and Kane as they found their soulmates and their life path. Quinn was the one brother I was most curious about. He is the lighthearted, funny brother and is always the one to keep everyone's spirits up. His big heart and sweet demeanor was such a charming characteristic that he slowly made his way to being my favorite.

His story has got to be my favorite in the series. Chasing a Legend is Quinn's second chance at a love lost years ago. His one and only love happens to be the one to help him in his recovery from his accident and his guiding light to a new path in life.

Quinn and Kiera are like to peas in a pod. They were the best of friends for years, so when they reconnect it's not long before they get thier groove back. Both are jokesters and a tad quirky that just made them the most perfect match.

Emotional, funny and passionate, Quinn and Kiera are definitely my favorite couple. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the Kavanagh clan.

The Kavanaugh family is well known for their success in MMA fighting and there Gym, Legends. Quinn Kavanaugh is Kanes MMA manager, but does extreme training to keep in shape. Until a tragedy strikes and his life gets an unwanted re-start.

Quinn is critically injured in a motorcycle accident. He is in a coma for a week, and awakens to a whole new existence, mainly of pain. He has broken bones, scars from the road, multiple bruises and is running out of hope. He is depressed knowing his life can never be the same. But, upon starting to work with the Dr. in charge of his PT he is thrown back in time. Keara Finley "Keeks", his best friend growing up, is now a physician. After a magical night together six years ago, she left without a word or note. Quinn was devastated and still carries the hurt. But the closeness their sharing now is breaking down his walls, and making Keeks realize what a mistake she made leaving. They decide to go with their feelings and try to see how things work out. Quinn even admits Keeks to his sacred sanctuary where he has been making beautiful sculptures from motorcycle parts for years. His family has no idea, but he realizes this is the one thing from his old life he can embrace and work with. Keeks encourages him all she can. It seems like Quinn can have it all.
But, a secret Keeks is keeping threatens everything. She loves Quinn with her whole heart and soul, and knows he loves her, but a decision has to be made.

This story has a lot of pain, both physical and emotional, but as always the family weathers it all. There is steamy moments, tears and eventually the HEA. But the story along the way is heartwarming. This can be read as a stand alone, but the series is a wonderful read.

I received this eBook from the publisher and Netgalley for review.

Quinn and Kiera have done a fine job of keeping the Kavanaugh series rolling along. Overcoming adversity and realizing how short life is to not follow your heart and dreams is so very difficult for people to do. They did it brilliantly and sensously.
