This is a very cute interactive book. I like books that make your child think and discover new things. The only thing is that I downloaded the book on my ereader and of course I could not see the colors or just get a good sense of the illustrations. Once I was able to see the book on a color tablet it was so worth it. My daughter had fun with it and the illustrations were so cute.

Reminds me of the Highlights magazines I used to read when I was a kid. The seek and find was always my favorite, and this is like an upgraded version of that. I think kids will love it!

I read the ARC copy that provided on NetGalley and love it.

I really consider to buy it for my nephew or niece. They would have a good time playing with the book.

The book is colorful and attractive. Each page had an interactive section to help the game more interesting.

However, I noticed some item that needed to be found not only shown once and can make a confusion. Maybe it's intentional, but I'm not really agree with that.

Anyhow, a great book. Perfect for gift. A fun read.

I am a big fan of this style of book. Kids can spend countless hours searching for suggested objects and then show pure delight when they are discovered. These are books that the whole family, young and old, can participate in.

"Little Detectives At Home" is targeted to wee ones and the home that they reside in. Each page features one particular room and it's jam-packed full of familiar objects that a young child can easily recognize.

Kids can put on their detective hat, grab their magnifying glass and hunt away. The busy pictures are bursting with vibrant colours and lots of action which I'm sure will bring plenty of amusement and fun.

At the end of the book are more activities that challenge the reader to go back and dig deeper to discover even more. At the bottom of each page is an illustrated list that points out which objects to find. Look and find books help kids expand their vocabularies and increase their ability to focus and observe the world around them.

3.5 stars.
An interaction book for little kids! This will appeal to little kids as the pictures are very colourful. Its a fun book, one to read with your children and having both of you having enjoyment in finding the items on each page. Only issue is that I wish it was longer. It felt too short.

An arc was provided generously in exchange of an honest review via Netgalley.*

The book has 6 scenes, a lot of details and animals. You can ask your kid to name things, to find them, to count them and to tell the time. However I didn't like that animals ate cupcakes and bread with chocolate paste at breakfast. This is not what I want my kid to think in as normal.

There is so much going on in these books. They are amazing. They will keep kids busy for hours. There are things to look for, and to classify and just to look at. Then there's extra at the end. These would be great to take on trips.

Little Detectives At Home A LOOK and FIND Book. Illustrations by Sonia Baretti. Chouette Publishing. CrackBoom! Books. This is a fun way to teach children to look for details. There are lots of normal household items and brightly colored toys to find. Highly recommend. Thanks to NetGalley, Chouette Publishing and CrackBoom! Books for providing this ebook for review.

Little Detectives at Home features illustrations by Sonia Baretti. As a part of the Look and Find Book series, this children's book allows interactive fun while reading.

According to the summary at the back of the book: "Have fun playing detective and spot hidden objects in the vibrant and playful scenes. Specially conceived for young ones, this book sharpens observational skills and develops vocabulary."

As an enjoyable easy-to-read picture book, it's geared toward young children, particularly ages three to eight.

Great book for kids. The images are colourful and my son like to find the objects.

These books are a great idea for seeking and finds. Instead of just the usual seek and find they have turned it into the child becoming a detective and looking for all kinds of clues.

Recommended board book.
This is a cute book, a bit like Where's Wally for much younger children. There are six images, each one illustrating a room in a house. In each of these rooms there are numerous characters and objects and the idea is to find each of eight items, illustrated along the bottom of the page.

The recommended age for this book is 3 to 5 years but I tried it out with my eldest grandchild who is almost 2. We only attempted one page but she was fascinated by all the animal characters and on a second viewing is starting to get the hang of searching for the items. She was thrilled with herself for being able to name ''eggs''.

My only criticism is that some of the animal characters are actually quite difficult to identify, the dog looks very much like a bear and there's one that seems to be a snowman, though I must have got that wrong, maybe a duck?

I can see this being a book that we fall back on regularly when we find ourselves in waiting rooms or busy places where she needs to be kept busy. And when we have found all the items on each of the pages there is a list of additional things we can search for at the back - telling the time on the clock that appears on every page and counting items of different colours etc....and when all of that is done, there is a second book - Little Detectives at School, to move on to.

The characters were bright and colorful. They were pleasant to look at. The descriptions of things to look for were a little confusing on the electronic version though would probably be easier on a paperback option.

I think this is a brilliant idea - a picture book full of things for little ones to find, and become 'detectives'. There is plenty going on in each picture, and it took me a little while to find each of the objects so I'm sure for the little ones it'll provide plenty of amusement! It's a great way also to learn new vocabulary and ask lots of questions, i.e. 'what's that?', 'what is that for?' There are other books in the detectives range and I'm sure they'll offer hours of fun!

This is like the series of find the monsters books that are popular right now, but simpler, for younger children. It actually reminds me of the app game where you have to find a number of objects hidden in a landscape in a certain amount of time. The difference here is that the scenes are populated by animals acting as humans, though it’s a bit strange that, for example, you have to find a mouse, but it’s the tiny mouse, not the human-sized mouse having breakfast with the other animals. There’s bonus games at the end, to see if you were paying attention.
Simple and clear.

I loved these books when I was younger and would definitely recommend this one.
It has just the right amount of fun and learning for little ones. 5 stars

A standard look and find book with fun illustrations. This book asks on each page what time is it. So you have to find the time, and learn to read a clock. I like this activity. Plus, at the end there are even more activities for the little reader to go back and look for, or count. One thing, that is just something I noticed. I do not think it changes the story what so ever, but it appears to be a polygamous family. In every scene there is 3 adults. Maybe one is a much older sister/brother, and I think only an adult would pick this out, and while I do not mind it at all, I know some will
