Thanks for Netgalley and respective publisher.

Another children-picture book.
Cute with all accountable things about Home.
Kids must enjoy this book, which would enhance their mind's illustrations.
Highly recommended to moms.

My youngest daughter was in speech therapy and this is just the type of book her therapist suggested for her. We had so much fun looking for things in the pictures and then turning it into a game around our home. The illustrations are adorable, modern and clean. The items are a perfect mix of difficulty to find. I can see this book being a favorite with both my 5 and 3 yr olds. I certainly will be purchasing these books as soon as they are released!

When I saw this book it reminded me a lot of the Richard Scary books my children loved so I thought I would try it out with my grandson. He is almost 4 so I thought it would be a good one for him and I to look at together. He was quite captivated for the first few pages as we searched for items and talked about what was happening in the picture, but then he lost interest. That is not to say this is not a good book, you just need to decide what the attention span is of the person you are using it with and spend the amount of time per page that is good for them. I know that when he comes back this week, I will sit with him again and continue where we left off, but not spend so much time per page. His attention span will lengthen with age and this is a great book to sharpen the skills of observation, conversation and vocabulary development. A great book for a kindergarten and primary classroom. Thanks to the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book.

A novel and interesting way of teaching kids to recognized items, time and colors, such as is it bedtime or playtime and other little interesting stuff, this is like a hidden object game only with kids in mine. I think it’s kind of cute with its vibrant colors and quirky illustrations.

Like the other book in the series (Little Detectives At Home) I really enjoyed this book. There are so many things to look at and find within the book and I love the extra activities on the end page. Very engaging and would definitely add it to my shopping list.

After reading and reviewing Little Detectives at School, I knew I wanted to check out this book also. It didn't disappoint. As a fourth grade teacher, I had an end of the year activity that I did with my class to review poetry concepts. We used the model of the popular I Spy books to make our own versions. This book is geared for younger readers, but it would be enjoyable for older siblings or cousins to read with them as well. I enjoy the format and the "be a detective" section at the bottom of each spread. The difficulty level seems appropriate to the target age range, and there is a page at the end that offers enrichment activities as well. Great book!
